Great experience with Dr. Harper and his team. With my new glasses and contacts I can see better than ever before! Also, excellent care of my mother over the last four years.

All went ok till I wanted my prescription. I understand it is the law that they must give it to us. Like another reviewer said: They made it difficult to get it. I got mine in spurts. I had to keep asking for the part I needed. I never did get my readers prescription. I am moving and now I have to start over.

The doctors are wonderful. Hands down the best in town. The office staff... not so much. They make it hard to do business here. No one ever answers the phone or returns messages. They make it very difficult to get a copy of your prescription to get your materials elsewhere (weve explained that our insurance will not pay for them to make the glasses. we have to use the lab our insurance requests.) We used them once for materials and they charged 2x more more than what insurance allowed. They cannot seem to tell us anything except thats what it costs and too bad for us. Going on 5 months now and no luck. I still cant get my questions answered or prescriptions. The wait in the office has been pretty bad the last two times we went. I really like Dr. Prchal and Dr. Cleary but this is an administrative nightmare and we will have to find a new office.

I have good insurance, but the young lady charged me to much for my lens, then I questioned it, she couldnt explain why, I get $300.00 for frames each year, and free lens, but it costed me $188.00 to get my glasses was $288.00 and I told her I didnt need the glare coating, so it dropped down to $188.00, Ill find a new place to go,

Dr. Taylor was so kind, explained everything to me thoroughly and answered all of my questions. He and his staff are amazing and made my visit as stress free and quick as possible. Logan was also very helpful in my frame picking process and I will continue to go back and recommend Vision Source for any all vision needs.

Called here because i had something stick in my eye. The girl who answered was very nice and helpful! Got there the girl who checked me in and brought me back was super sweet!! And DR Taylor was awesome and seems down to earth nice guy! Great place!

Excellent experiences! Dr. Taylor and Dr. Clearly were so patient with my 3 year old. Ashley made sure my daughter was comfortable and visited the treasure chest before leaving! Highly recommend if you are looking for the best eye care Albany offers!

The glasses they made hurt my terribly I took them back and the manager was very rude I explained that the glasses were hurting me she was so nasty that they would not even reimburse my insurance she said the glasses had to be destroyed which I knew that was not true they could have sent them back to the manufacture and it wouldn’t have cost them a dime Please beware of this place it is a rip off

Dr Harper and staff were all very nice and did their jobs well. My one and only issue was time. It was a very slow moving appointment. What should have been an hour to hour and a half visit drug out to nearly three hours. I could easily understand this had the office been full of patients but it was not. Myself and two others people were the only ones there as per the sign in sheet. Having said this, I would go back again based on the wonderful staff and hope that today was just a freakishly rare instance.

This is the second time Ive been since my old eye doctor retired a few years back. Staff is very friendly, very helpful when it comes to insurance. I love dr. Harper, he spends time with you. Would recommend this to anybody.

Ive been wearing glasses since I was 9, and this was the first time Ive had a GROUP of people that were willing to assist me, and the teamwork...I love it and Brittney, I hope all your Mondays and Wednesdays are great, thanks a million...I want to go on and on, but before I downplay my Dr...I really felt like she cared and wanted to help me...I will be back to see you again and again I hope.

Our first visit here was for my 11 yr old daughter. She was nervous but the girls up front were super nice and understanding and the Dr took his time and made sure she had exactly what she needed. I would recommend them to anyone!

Very sweet office staff....and very patient me and my 12 year old went in together and got fitted for contacts...they were patient with us while we learned to put them in and take them out...Would recommend to anyone for fast and friendly service

The greed shown by this office is obnoxious. My daughter lost her glasses in the middle of a huge family upheaval we were dealing with. I had just paid over $300 for them 6 months earlier. Rather than dishing out another exorbitant price, I requested my daughters prescription so I could buy her a pair of glasses to carry her through until my insurance would help pay for another pair. Needless to say, after the second request, I received her prescription. However, the information was incomplete, and I was unable to order her another pair. I was told my daughter would need to come to the office and get measured for the PD (pupil distance) at a price of $30 if we wanted a pair of glasses made outside of the office. This is ridiculous since her PD had just been measured, and she is 19 years old so she isnt growing anymore. Ill be taking my money and my insurance elsewhere from now on.

The girls were sweet and the optometrist was nice. I enjoyed my service and they were patient with me when I was taking my time picking out glasses.

The care and attention they provide to each patient is outstanding.

A+++++ Would highly reccomend.
