I had a great experience and will return the next time I need glasses. My glasses that I bought elsewhere broke while I was at work and since Custom Eyes is just blocks away I stopped by to see if they could help. Not only did they do the small repair while I waited they refused to let me pay for it! Great service and I will be back.

I made a appointment for my child. I was a few min late because had putting in shoes issues... me and my child walk in and the tall skinny woman up front asked how can i help? I told her my son has a appointment, she said back AUUUHHHH.... i dont see one. I saw on her appointment list only 4 more pacients for the rest of the day, but cant take us 5 min late. Then immediately says well you are a few minutes late se we have to reschedule. I didnt appreciate how her and the guy behind her at a desk acted like they didnt want to work.

The woman who said she was in charge.The absolute worst manner Ive witnessed in a very long time. This is one of those times when your company gets bought out you should be let go as well. Never will ever go there again!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! I had the best experience with them from start to finish. I was able to schedule an appointment and be seen within just a couple days. Then the staff was so wonderful, they treated me very well and were so helpful. I even walked out of the office with my glasses on my face. They went above and beyond, I couldnt have asked for better service. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and dont know. Thank you so much!!

This office has the best costumer service. My whole family goes to this office and we love it. Theyre very patient with my littles and they have a great selection of frames. Dr. Estes is very kind and the office ladies are awesome. If I could give this office ten stars I would!

Had a great experience here prior to this year. Had a pair of glasses that had a warranty issue. 1st was told I had to buy new ones from them and hope for the warranty to come through. Didnt want to do that so was then told they would check on it and call me. No call for over a month and a half. I stopped in on a whim and it seemed like they didnt want to deal with my issue I was told that the warranty was no good. Called the glasses company myself and was told differently. Will be going elsewhere for my glasses from now on

The doctor and team have been absolutely awesome! Ive had some challenges with getting contacts, but they have been extremely patient, and helpful throughout the process! I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of eye care in the Albany, Oregon area!

Updated review: Since the company changed owners almost 2 years ago it has been a nightmare. Wrong prescriptions, inputting incorrect insurance information, lack of knowledge of staff and finally when Im moving to another company they suddenly have no records of me going there for 12+years. It took me going down there for them to acknowledge I have been going here but took no responsibility for the delay or the experiences. We will never return here!My whole family and close friends have been patients here for 10+ years and weve never been dissatisfied. They listen, make recommendations without being pushy and are a great group of people!

My family and I have been going here for a few years now. Last year we wanted to see what else was out there and took our daughter to another local eye care place. Although they were nice, they did not have the large selection and wonderful customer service that Custom eyes has. You all rock!!

This place is an awesome family owned business who treat you like family. They are very welcoming and truly care about your needs. Jess was patient with me in picking out some new eyewear. She gave her honest opinions about what frames fit my face and was very knowledgeable and in tune to what I was lookimg for. Once the perfect frame was picked, Mandy tag teamed and walked me through the various lens options I can have and suggested a solution for what I need. They didnt try to oversell anything or push anything on you. They simply provided information for you to choose from. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to working with Custom Eyes due to their high reviews. Unfortunately, I was really let down. Depending on who I talked to on the phone, I would get different service. Some staff members were incredibly friendly, others not so much. I was told they would need to send in an authorization form to my healthcare provider in order to get pre-approval for me to be seen. They took down all of my information and told me it should take about 14 days. They told me to call in around that time if I had not heard from them. I called at the two week mark, and was told they still had not heard back. I called a week later, and was told once again they were not sure of the status. The next time I called they took down my name and number and told me that they would check on the status and get back to me promptly. I hadnt heard back from them so I called them right before closing. The lady who answered, Mandy, said that they were very busy that day, but she still had my information and promised to call me first thing the next morning. Two days later I still had not heard from her. I decided to call my health network to figure out the status on my own. When I got a hold of my health network, they let me know they never received an authorization request. At this point they suggested another eye clinic. As soon as I called the other eye clinic, they were able to make me an appointment right away. I decided to call Custom Eyes just to let them know about my experience, and I was immediately transferred to who I think is the manager, Mandy. Mandy insisted that she had spoken with someone two days ago with my health network, who said that they were backed up and dealing with other issues (If that was the case, I wondered why she didnt call to update me as promised). Considering I had already spoken with my healthcare provider, and they explained to me that they had not received an authorization request, and that it would take no more than 14 days guaranteed, I truly feel like she was lying to me and making excuses. To which is very unfortunate. I have now wasted a month of my time, but I am very happy that another eye clinic was able to accommodate me so quickly. I hope this review can save somebody else the same stress I suffered.

So I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my glasses. Because of their lab in Eugene. I did not like this at all I am very disappointed. Looks Im going blind for a couple weeks.

This was not a thorough eye exam. I have had yearly eye exams done for the past 15 years and there was no discussion on the issue of my dry eye condition, explanation of options/benefits to tri-focals, bi-focals, and prgression. The whole experience seemed off. I called my insurance the next morning and they immediately approved a second exam at no cost. I was not surprised that todays exam with a different doctor resulted in a different eye glass presciption than what I was given here last week. Disappointing experience given the good reviews. Happy my insurance company saw this as important to approve a second exam!
