I was nervous about being referred out since the clinic my family had been attending decided to reduce patients and see medical cases only due to COVID. I was pleasantly surprised by advanced imagery technology, beautiful offices, friendly staff and a great doctor! Highly recommend and I can’t wait to pick out my new glasses!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile because they deserve kudos! Albany Eyecare was fabulous! I’m not local and was visiting family nearby during the summer when one contact lens broke. I had a fairly tight timeframe and needed it replaced as soon as possible. None of the other places could even fit me in. these guys and gals were the epitome of customer service. They were able to fit me in, order the rigid gas permeable lens and get it within 2 days (!) and help me with my frames as well.They were thoroughly professional and so friendly! I got the best impression of Albany based on my interactions with them.

Ive been going here for a few years now. I routinely purchase both glasses and sunglasses. My past experiences with the doctors, staff, and service have been great. I recently had a less than desirable interaction and they did their best to make it right. Its this level of service that sets them apart. Im still awaiting resolution but Im certain I will not be disappointed.

I arrived Monday morning2/3/20 and was first told to come back due to a staff meeting. This was upsetting due to the fact I have limited work hours and my schedule would not allow me to get my glasses until the end of the week. A representative with Albany eye Care named Tammy, was incredibly kind and came out to ensure I was a satisfied customer. Her actions changed what was going to be a one-star review, into a five. I let Dr Christopher Berry know their office runs a tight ship. We all have limited time, and the last thing any one of us wants to do is wait forever for a scheduled appointment. They are prompt, professional, and very accommodating. I, too, work in the medical field, and it is evident patient care is of paramount importance for this entire team.

I have been a client of Dr Piepers for at least 4 years. Ever since I moved to New Zealand, I make a point to set up an appointment when I am stateside because all staff members are courteous and professional and are willing and able to accommodate my quirky situation. Of course, Dr Pieper is amazing, patient, knowledgeable, clear, and articulate.During my most recent interaction with professional staff at Albany Eye Care, I asked for them to send me contacts--rather than I come to pick them up at the storefront. Dr. Chris Barry was extremely professional and on his game. The appointments are very relaxed and he answered any questioned I have concerning the long term health of my sight. The staff there is great to work with and very helpful. They explain very well what my insurance would cover and how I can minimize the impact to my personal wallet. I would recommend Dr. Barry to anyone and have always had a pleasant experience at Albany Eyecare.

I had a great experience for my annual check-up. Everyone was very professional and I really like Dr. Peepers. He knows my families back ground and the trouble that they have had with their vision. Because of this he is very careful when he does my exam.

Excellent facility, modern equipment, and top-notch physicians. The staff go above and beyond. Once they even got my wife in for a same day appointment because my insurance was ending soon. They break down insurance eyewear benefits in simple to understand terms, and are very up front about their pricing and features. Glasses almost always come in at under a week. I recommend this clinic for everyone I know.

I have been going to the Albany Eyecare since moving to Albany in 2014. Very highly recommend for any eye care needs. The staff and doctors are all very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to all individual needs. Never had one issue or delayed on orders. The service is one of the highest quality. Every time I would do a walk-in for my needs, I never had to wait long, and the staff members have always been wonderful and always provided the best service that anyone could ask for!

Went in a month ago ordered and paid for new glasses. Stopped by today to ask if there was a problem with my order since its taking forever. They inform me my glasses came in that they sent someone a text message 2 Weeks ago. Then I waited over a half hour. They finished helping the only other customers and went to lunch or something. When I asked to receptionist she said they are very busy with other customers. They didnt care my mother and two young kids were waiting in the car and told me to continue waiting. I wasted another 5 to 10 minutes and left.UpdateI went back the next day got my glasses with almost no wait once the kids were with a babysitter. They were very nice and apologized for the issues I experienced. They are still looking into why I was only sent a text message not a phone call. I have been a customer at Albany Eye care for close to 30 years and have received great customer service over the years and will continue to take my family there.

I called for an emergency check up for my 4 year old and they got me in same day even though they took a different version of my insurance. They were very kind and did well with my boy.

First, the staff here is wonderful. They really are. After having a frustrated experience picking up contacts, I originally posted a negative review, but they called me and I could tell they genuinely wanted to improve the process and cared about me at a patient/customer. Thank you for taking the time to care! It changed my negative experience into a very positive one.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. From the Staff at the front desk to the contact representative. I honestly feel sorry for the doctor , I wonder if he is aware of how horrible his staff is making his business look to his clients. I didnt make this judgement off of one experience. I actually subjected myself to several visits understanding people have a bad day. Time to look for a new eye doctor.

The overall service was exceptional Jessica took her time to choose glasses with us and explaining service. The overall staff was aware that we had an autistic child with us and he was a little louder which was very disappointing that management came to the waiting room not talking to us about the volume of our child but by shushing my husband. Needless to say we wont be bringing our children into this facility any longer but for future services we wont want to visit as a family which will restrict us to the service our family will receive from this facility. Overall I wish this would have been handled differently.

SO glad I discovered Albany Eyecare! My experience was top notch. I was in and out, got everything I needed right there in one place. Dr. Berry and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. I could never go anywhere else now that I discovered this place!

Dr. Christopher Berry, and the whole staff here, have always been so helpful, friendly, and informative. We have been going here for a few years now, mostly for my 7 year olds eye care needs, and they have never disappointed. I have been completely impressed with how attentive they are to meeting our needs, and answering our questions. We will definitely continue our business here.

After solely going to Albany Eyecare for over 10 years (since before their location move), I regret to say I can no longer accept their services. While their Dr.s are wonderful, informative, and understanding, their customer service on the other side is spotty and in decline.It has taken over 3 months to receive a pair of glasses under warranty. As a college student, I rely on my glasses to get through hours of studying. Throughout these 3 months, endless phone calls have not been returned, leaving me to wonder what is going on. Finally, after some information, I was informed it would take an additional month to receive my glasses. There were some options to remedy the situation in the meantime, however they were poor solutions. My warranty would also not be extended despite the 3+ months I have not had glasses (the original were due to a manufacturer error, what if the new pair are also compromised)?My family has had other issues as well.I will now be taking my service elsewhere. With the high expenses you would expect a place to take care of their customers.

JAMIE IS TRULY AMAZING WITH THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRUE KINDNESS!!! My son went to college in Albany and needed new contacts. She went out of her way to get us a rebate, and then to send him new contacts to Klamath Falls, after he moved back. She called me to follow up with me to tell me the rebate went thru and when she ordered his new contacts. I so appreciate her and Albany Eye care. I will continue to go thru them and I am 4 hours away!!! Awesome service and a true blessing :)

Ive seen a couple of doctors at Albany Eyecare and theyve both provided comprehensive eye exams and great service. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming from the receptionist when I walked in the door to the glasses tech who helped me shop for frames. I have a hard time choosing frames and the techs ordered in new colors without having to commit to buying them and even let me check out some frames for a few days to wear around and decide which ones I really like. They also know exactly what my insurance will cover, and are very up front about out of pocket costs.

I have been a patience of Albany Eye Care for years. I have NEVER had a problem. They always take care of me. My family goes to them and many co-workers. We all have had the same great caring service.

I have had excellent service and care here at Albany Eyecare. Its worth the drive from Corvallis to get the quality service and great selection of glasses. They helped me find prescription sun glasses for severe myopia (Wiley X brand) that far exceeded my expectations for price and quality. Highly recommended!

Appointment was on time, no waiting. The staff that helped me pick out my glasses were very knowledgable, patient and helped me above and beyond. I was never rushed and was told multiple times to take my time on deciding. They even offered check out frames to take home and show my friends and family. This was my 2nd set of glasses ever and 1st time at Albany Eye Care. I can honestly say, I have found a home for all my eye care needs. After getting my regular glasses, I scored a great looking set of prescription Ray Ban polarized sunglasses at 40% off. Thats cheaper than non prescription typical Ray Ban after the discount. I even got my prescription safety glasses here, one stop for ALL my needs. So happy with the price, staff, service and warranty that I highly recommend them.

The front desk, eye doctor and the eye examiner were amazing like always....but glass fitting people are horrible. The last 2 times I have been in they have pressured me to get extra items for my glasses and they seem to get upset when I said I would put some $ down and pay the rest when I pick up my glasses. I have been a customer here for over 10 years! They need to train the glass fitters on customer service and respect asap!

Dr. Brittany was an excellent optometrist. She was informative, attentive, and answered all my questions. My six year old was with me and the staff was great with him as well. Whether its answering questions, finding the perfect frame, or providing emergency replacement glasses - Albany Eyecare has exceeded my expectations EVERY time. I wanted a specific look of sunglasses; they looked (for 6 months) until they found them for me. And then gave me a great deal on them! I broke a pair of glasses and needed a very quick replacement pair (Im a wedding photographer and I wouldve had to give up business if I couldnt work). They helped me replace my glasses ASAP and again gave me an AMAZING deal. They turned my traumatic glasses-breaking into an evening that ended in laughter. Thanks so much!
