Dr. Guo and staff are friendly, kind, considerate, and always ask if Im ok during procedures. He listens when I tell him about my concerns and gives me more than one option for good outcomes. When I asked him recently what to do about a missing tooth, he gave me a few options and said we will discuss options that will be better to avoid problems later. A+ in my book!

Excellent service and care. I had a very thorough cleaning and x-rays and check-up after waiting one year due to Covid-19. I really appreciated the thoroughness combined with the sensitivity. I have major dental fears and I felt completely okay and understood here. Dr. Guo is such a nice dentist and my hygienist was impeccable and personable. Highly recommend!

This was the first time at this establishment..was greated with warmth and compassion for the dental issue I was experiencing. From phone consultation and admission paperwork, to attentive staff lessining to conserns. Would recommend this place.

I have probably one of the worst fears of needles and being awake while my mouth is being worked on nad these workers were awesome they convinced me to have a tooth pulled and promised that it would be quick and painless. In all it was exactly how they said it was gonna be and they did a great job I recommend going there if you need work done on your mouth. Tha k you again and I will be back to have some teeth fixed by them.

Wonderful greeting and relaxing and well appointed waiting room. I was extremely nervous but Bernice helped me to relax. Dr. Mary was excellent, efficient and reassuring in regards to my need to constantly swallow due to anxiety. Gail was wonderful. Very gentle and understating about my anxiety. Each and every person who helped me, and I needed help, having lost a crown over the weekend, each and every person who interacted with me, all of you it felt like, were awesome. You all were great, you sent me away just two weeks away from a new crown. I cant speak highly enough of your office. Shelton occasionally attracts some pretty amazing folks, somehow it has done it again.

I had a great experience with this office! I was visiting from out of town and had a filling come out. I called and they had an appointment for me within an hour. I was very impressed with how quickly they fixed my tooth and had me on my way. All of the staff was very helpful. I would definitely return if I lived in the area.

Dr Mary was a marvel, showing compassion and concern for comfort, and answering all my questions, all in conjunction with her concentrated dedication to excellence. This dentist is the BEST I have ever experienced and I am HAPPY to be in their good hands.

I arrived early and was shown into an examination room right away. The procedure was explained thoroughly and the costs were presented up front. The tooth extraction was less painful than I had any right to expect and the bill was considerably less than they had quoted because there were no complications. I cant think of how it could have been a better experience.

I am always happy with my experience at Shelton Dental Excellence. They are patient with my families crazy schedule, and Dr. Mary is very sensitive to my needs when Im in the chair. I love this office. I started going here when I lived in Shelton. I have since moved to Centralia and still make the hour drive to come see this staff for my dental needs. The whole staff is so compassionate and will make you feel very at ease.

I was favorably impressed on my first visit! My second visit was also good. I had an extraction which was painless!

I have so much anxiety when it comes to seeing the dentist thanks to plenty of traumatizing dental experiences in my life. Ive been coming here for 2 years and caught up on a lot of necessary dental work. Dr Guo is the first dentist that has never made me feel like Im a bother. My teeth always have the hardest time going numb and sometimes hell have to stop 3 times to give me more numbing. He doesnt sigh, act irritated or refuse to give more numbing because were almost done. I never feel like theyre rushing me, even when I need a break. They handle any freak outs that I have quite well. When I come here, I feel like a respected customer, and not a victim, lol!. Even after 2 years of good experiences, I still have anxiety, but its much better than before . Dr Guos assistant, Gail, is so sweet and absolutely amazing at keeping my anxiety under control. The front office staff are welcoming, supportive and caring.

My first dental procedure visit with our new dentists. Very professional even if they are Seahawks fans. Liked the work so far. Surfaces and edges clean and smooth. Looking forward to a long association.

I had a checkup and cleaning with Mary - she was very warm and professional as she put me through the paces. I had a couple questions about what she was doing, which she was happy to answer - none of the stolid indifference Ive seen at other practices. I did have a cavity growing - which she warned me about - and even showed me the progress of it from an older x-ray.All in all, a great experience.

I went in for a retainer fitting and custom whitening trays at Shelton Dental Excellence and the service was superb. The staff was courteous, attentive and patient. Dr. Guo was professional in his treatment and listened to all my concerns. I was in and out of the dental office in a timely fashion. I was early...dont mind waiting....they got me in very quickly. Staff is EXCELLENT!! Am new pt, moved from Alaska. It started as a second opinion, from first “new” dentist up in Olympia. I like these folks so much, am sticking with them. Dental care is no less expensive than in Alaska. They are very good at working with retirement plans and budgets.

Very capable, friendly, and patient. Having had fillings without anesthetic as a child, I was nervous about pain for a recent onlay. Dr. Guo was very patient and readily honored my request for extra shots of painkiller. Dr. Guo and his staff are exceptionally friendly and made me very comfortable. I checked prices for the onlay against several competitors and his prices were the lowest, so I saved money in addition to getting excellent service.

I know its silly but Im terrified of the dentist... :OI always put it off for as long as possible. But both my daughter and I needed to be seen. We had just moved to the area so I knew we needed to find our new dentist. I asked google for a cowards dentist. I think it ignored the coward part but it found me a few dentists. I read through reviews and this office jumped out at me. 4.9 stars. Thats pretty dang good. Better than good. So I called, praying they accepted my insurance. They do! So in a quavering voice I set up an appt. They were even nice on the phone! I was thinking I may have made a good choice.The dreaded day came. Thankfully, I was able to get appts for us in the morning so I didnt worry for too long. We arrived and everyone was super nice. I filled out all the paperwork and they called my name within minutes. It wasnt my daughters appt time yet so they turned on a kids movie for her in the waiting room. How sweet!Again, everyone was very friendly, helpful and comforting. I got x-rays, talked to Dr Mary (she was very sweet) and then got my teeth cleaned. My daughter met me at the end and she got a prize from the treasure box, a goody bag and squeaky clean teeth. No pain for either of us. We set up future appointments immediately. I think I might be cured.Thank you all! ^_^
