Smile Dental is the best! The office is so modern and clean it makes you feel like you’re at the spa. The people that work there are amazing and really make you feel at ease and treat you like you’re their priority. Never had to wait for my appt to start either, always on time. I was in and out of there in 6 minutes getting a cavity filled! Love it!

Ive been going to Smile Dental for the last few years and I just have to say, they are some of the best people in the business. Dr. Bruce truly cares about each of his patients and his community as evidenced by his staff who are engaging, caring and gentle! Shout out to Sarah, who took care of me this morning! She took the time to get to know me and she made me feel like more than just another patient, further exemplifying Smiles value of community and people. I’m afraid of painful novocain and am dentist phobic. I needed a cavity filled and a cap. Dr Ruiz administered the novocain and I didn’t even know it! She’s the best. Her work was perfection and quick. I highly recommend them. I’m so happy I found them. Excellent service, pleasant, many employees and very clean. I saw huge 1 page advertisement in CT post that said free consults on Tuesdays and same day repairs. Im waiting for my permanent crown before my dentist fits me for a full denture. My temp plate did not look straight. I have an out of town wedding this weekend, was pressed for time and wanted my smile to look better. The ad said same day, so i called and saw Dr. Sofferman. He adjusted my plate to give me a more even smile line... and did not even charge me!! Yes, NO cost to me. If he was covered under my insurance, they certainly would have me as a patient.

So happy to have found this place! Excellent service front and back. They were able to accommodate my crazy work schedule. My experience was with Dr. Ruiz for multiple procedures. Her expertise and personality made intolerable dentistry tolerable. I seriously went for 6 consultations across 5 states for months while working trying to find a cheaper price for the work I needed. I found Smile is absolutely in line with everyone else when it comes to price.

Don’t trust whatever they told you. They just want to maximize your allowance from your insurance. They are businessmen not dentist. Get the second opinion from other dentist, you may not need the treatment that they told you. Be careful with this clinic! They suggested that one tooth needs crown which I don’t really need after I got second and third opinion . SHARKS!!

I have had great service here for years. My grandmother, who has dementia, had to have her teeth pulled. There was a lot of work that had to be done to treat and prepare her for dentures. I recently moved to Shelton, Ct and started using Smile. I was so impressed with the care and concern I received from the entire staff. It was easy to reach the office and obtain a convenient appointment from the very friendly reception staff. Connie, my dental assistant and Dr Nieves were fantastic. They explained every procedure and made my visit very comfortable. My crown was done in such a timely manner and looks and feels wonderful. We recently moved to Milford and after much search, landed on this wonderful practice in Shelton.To start, the office is incredibly clean. Some might say, sparkling clean. Their front desk is always so welcoming, warm and kind and their staff (My family sees Star and Dr. Nieves) make going to the dentist comforting. I actually look forward to my appointments. My 5 year old daughter, also loves going to get her teeth cleaned.We recently went during Covid and they took all the necessary precautions and are doing such a wonderful job.

As a future health care professional, I cannot recommend their services enough. Despite the setbacks from COVID, the group has made the space extremely safe and sterile- they have altered the way they operate and even purchased new air purifiers to help reduce the amount of aerosol particulates. My long time dentist retired some time ago. Someone pointed me in the direction of Smile Dental Center....and are they terrific! Great group of Compassionate Staff. My very first visit felt as if Ive been going there for years. I had multiple things done in that first visit. I was very impressed with the whole experience. I was tired of places that do not care about the individual patient , not willing to work with patients financially and places that frankly give bad advice. I was all but fed up until I came here. My first experience was amazing and Dr. C. was phenomenal and personable and professional, it was a successful, done in a timely fashion and attentive to me during the procedure. Becky at the front desk was able to explain things thoroughly and made me understand everything so that there were no questions. She has also been very willing to help us figure out the best plans and how to work with finances and always with a smile! I have since visited more and my experiences have been just as great as the first,( as great as it can be going to the dentist, lol) I saw Sue recently to have my teeth cleaned and it was very eye opening to hear how informative she was, and how much she wants to help in any way. She follows suit , the people I have encountered here are all passionate people and care for the patients well being. I couldn’t be happier with them and will continue to come back and will also bring my 2 daughters with me as well! You guys are amazing , it’s a breathe of fresh air to be somewhere where you feel that people are honest , helpful and take care of business. Great to feel appreciated for being a client !!! I have been a patient here for years and everyone is always amazing. You can tell the employees enjoy working here and they provide great services at a great price, whether or not you have insurance. You always walk into a smile and prompt service, no waiting around forever here. They even have their own patient discount plan which covers normal visits twice a year and discounts on additional services. They are in a modern, updated space with the best technology, TVs in each room, comfortable chairs, and high quality take home bags. I would highly recommend to anyone I know!

Beautiful state of the art modern office! Staff was friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. My hygienist, Sara, was the best!! She was so sweet and helped me get over my fears of being at the dentist. The dentists I met were great too. Dr Sofferman has a wonderful team.

In the past, dentists elsewhere have been unable to successfully fully numb my lower jaw when necessary, so I lived in terror of cavities.I decided to try a new practice in case there was another approach, and Dr. Ruiz managed to get me completely numb in one try. Then, she stayed late by about 45 minutes so that I could have a crown fabricated and inserted same-day. Couldnt be happier!

She helped me out get an appointment quickly and did a great follow up since I had a few issues with the insurance information. The doctor and dental hygienist were both on top of their game, addressing root cause of the issues I had, did a thorough check up and provided me with all the info so I could maintain proper care of my teeth. As usual, all staff members are very friendly and helpful. Service is excellent and not rushed. I live more than a 1/2 hour away and have no intention of looking for a practice closer to home, and there are many. I have always been, and still am very pleased with this group of professionals.

I chipped my molar. I did not have a dentist. They were able to get me in The next day. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I left with a cap on my molar and was there less than 3 hrs. I will be returning for my cleaning as well. Highly recommend SMILE Dental.

I am always so pleased by Smile Dental Center. I called in the morning with a small issue...I was in the chair 2 hours later and my issue was fixed immediately. Everyone in the office is so personable and the service is on point!

Words can not express how WONDERFUL this office and their staff have been to me. I walked in there just about 2 months ago needing a lot of dental work, several extractions and ultimately dentures. I had been embarrassed to go to a dentist for a long time but I felt welcome from the moment I walked in there, not once did they make me feel embarrassed or ashamed of my smile. They treated me like a patient who needed help and thats exactly what they did!!! I decided to go to them because of the outstanding reviews and Im so glad I did, I will never go anywhere else.
