My appointment involved getting my teeth cleaned with Monica. She’s excellent and does a very thorough job. Monica is both professional and personable. All of Dr Bower’s staff is very friendly - they take a special interest in me, and my dental needs.

Dr. Bowers and staff are professional, friendly, respectful, and courteous. I can’t say enough good things about them and the level of care and treatment that I receive. They take the time to listen to my concerns and explain things in a way that I understand. I highly recommend!

I’ve never felt so at ease, well informed and well cared for at a dentist’s office before, and they were willing to work with me on the actual price of services, something I simply have never experienced before. I actually look forward to getting my teeth worked on. Of course I’d love it if dental were covered by basic insurance of if we could have universal single-payer healthcare that included dental, but lacking those alternate realities I’m very glad for a dentist who’s interested in working with me on all fronts so that I get the care I need and deserve.

I was very surprised how quickly they were able to get in on such short notice (45 min).Every member of the staff was very nice and I am very great full for their extensive knowledge. I didn’t have dental insurance. The financial coordinator showed me dental plans to fit my needs as well as the financial breakdown paying cash and with the plan.Dr. Bowers explained the X-rays and treatment needed without talking above my head or like a child. To me, that is an amazing quality.

Was very happy to get in for an adjustment to a temporary crown that was causing me pain. My regular dentist was not available and Dr. Bowers was able to address my problem and help alleviate the pain. I had an infected wisdom tooth and looked all over trying to find a dentist to take me ASAP after calling I got in super quick and also instead of just getting antibiotics and then having to make an appointment to get removed later they pulled my wisdom tooth that same day. Very respectful staff, also very patient, especially when it comes with pain. Would recommend, even the prices are decent compared to most places.

I am very grateful that Dr Bowers and his staff were able to fit me into his schedule, as a new patient, on short notice to assess and repair my broken crown on my front tooth. I was amazed he was able to do a root canal to save the tooth without sending me to a specialist. The temporary crown looked good enough to be the permanent one. Pain management was very good and Covid precautions were followed. Everyone was curtious and polite to each other and worked well as a team--- seams to be a nice place to work. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dentist that is gentle and knows what they are doing.They are so good with my kids, my daughter needed a possible root canal, and anyone who knows my daughter knows she can be a little hard to deal with during medical procedures or anything that is associated with doctors or needles, they gave her a few doses of the anesthetic in the super large needle she didn’t even know what was happening. (Also thank you nitrous oxide) she ended up not needed if a root canal, but she actually excited for her next appointment in two weeks for more fillings! The whole staff is wonderful! Definitely worth it.

There are two people at this office who truly deserve this review; Shelley and Dr Bowers. Yes, the back office staff is awesome and every time one of my family members come in they are very gentle and kind. But Shelley has always treated me with the utmost respect and has never made me feel bad or ashamed about how I have neglected my teeth in the past. She listens, always makes time for me, gives me ideas, suggestions on my insurance plan, and other options if I don’t like the current treatment plan and I appreciate that. Dental work is expensive, even with insurance, but I love that Shelley doesn’t push me into scheduling until I am ready. Dr Bowers is the nicest dentist I have ever worked with. I have never seen him without a smile on his face, he is always genually smiling, like he really enjoys his job and he too, doesn’t make me feel ashamed. His work is impeccable and everyone should experience his gentle dental care. His artwork on chipped teeth is something to see, trust me!!! I still don’t enjoy dental appointments, but knowing I am going into an office that truly cares about your well-being makes me feel at ease.

Everything about this office and everyone I have come into contact has far exceeded my expectations. My husband has alot if medical issues and we have run into tons of horrible treatment from the medical community, but not from this office. They are professional, helpful. Courteous. Even when staying late to answer any of our questions about the treatments needed and running costs multiple ways. Never made us feel like we were putting them out. I can think of at least 20 doctors offices that could really learn from how this office functions. I am beyond thrilled that we switch Dentists to Dr Bowers.

Dr. Bowers and prior to him Dr. Widman have been my dentist since 1984, and I have had great experiences every single time I step into their office. Whether my visit is for a simple cleaning, or a cavity filling, the entire staff of Dr. Bowers are always so nice and are very conscientious of my wellbeing and specifically of pain management. Not once have I ever felt any pain, regardless of procedure, during any of my visits. Their up-to-date technology keeps them on top of their industry for sure.

They have a fantastic staff with great energy and smiles all around. Whether Im there for a routine cleaning or something more involved, I am never disappointed with my experience. For me, even now that Ive moved more than 200 miles away, it is totally worth it to continue to make the trip. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

By the time I found Dr. Steven Bowers office my teeth were in disastrous condition. Several cavities, broken teeth, extractions needed as well as needing crowns and bridge work. NEVER in my 65 years of experience in a dentists office have I been treated more cheerfully, kindly, thoughfully, and thoroughly as I have been by both Dr. Bowers and his ENTIRE staff. As long as I live in this region he will be my dentist. If you are looking for an excellent dentist I suspect you will also be pleased with the treatment you receive here.

Dr. Bowers and his team have been handling my dental care for a little over 2 years. I could not ask for better. I 100% trust this team with my care and cost effectiveness. Without a doubt, Dr. Steve Bowers is the only person I trust with my teeth. I have met with Dr. Bowers more times than Id like to admit, with broken and undermined teeth needing root canals. Dr. Bowers is such an expert in his craft, I have absolutely no concerns about the required procedures, the quality of his work, and no concern that I am receiving the correct treatment for the problem. Im familiar with Dr. Bowers extra-dental hobbies, and the mastery he requires of himself in his hobbies is further assurance that he is a master of his trade.Of course, Dr. Bowers is an excellent employer, and has attracted the best dental assistants and hygenists in the area. I know that some of his staff commute long distances to work with Dr. Bowers, and Dr. Bowers only keeps the best on his staff. Although I moved further away from Dr. Bowers office, I would rather travel to have Dr. Bowers as my dentist than any alternative. Thanks!

I have gone to Dr. Bowers for all my dental care since he came to town. I had a horrible childhood dentist and would literally be sick at the thought of having a cleaning. I have to say I dont think Ive ever been is comfortable and the dentist office as I was here. The people didnt seem like staff members, but more of a family type atmosphere. They took my personal needs and tailored their team dynamics to me my needs. All I can say is that felt like a damn good visit and I would recommend these folks to everyone, including my family.

I drive from Tumwater to come see Dr.Bowers and his team. I wouldnt have it any other way. This is the best dentist and the only dentist I will ever go to. My daughter has been asking to go here permanently after having to have a tooth pulled here, she never wanted to go back to her old dentist. They are so patient and they really work with you. The always take there time and make sure everything is done right. They work with me when Im having anxiety and even offered oxygen. I love this place, it feels like home.
