Nice crew works there. Very friendly and helpful. Good selection. Maybe not the best place for, I dont want to say cheap (but I just did) weed. But reasonably priced, good quality stuff.

My experiences weren’t terrible but definitely not worth the overpriced selection. Budtenders have been aloof more often than not and it’s one of the only shops around to not offer any industry discount whatsoever. Gives off real yuppie energy.

Ive had great experiences at Lux. David has helped me twice and is so empathetic, knowledgeable, and authentic. Psychologist meets budtender: just tell him what sensations and state of mind you wish to achieve through cannabis products and he will give you smart recommendations and multiple options. Im sure the rest of the staff is just as top-notch!The store interior and display cases are also very well-designed and welcoming.Appreciate you, David & Lux Team!

Everyone here is very nice and very educated in the products that they sell. Absolutely no complaints about their customer service! I really enjoyed their drinks and the mints! Unfortunately, their oil cartridges cost about $20 more on average than any other shop Ive been too and there edibles are about five to fifteen dollars more... I do think the products they carry are a bit higher end than most other dispensaries, but I still believe the price is a bit high. However, you can sign up for weekly discounts on their products and receive up to 20% off certain brands, so that can help deflect the high price point. I will still go there when they have discounts on the cartridges I like. 💁

We love LUX and in particular this store and location. They hear our requests, offer plenty of options which are always spot on, are incredibly knowledgeable and they have turned us on to local and smaller growers who we now support. The store is nice, well organized merch and it’s never a long wait. Always happy to see budtenders David and Olive at LUX 👍🏼

What a wonderful experience I had at Lux Pot Shop Ballard! David took a look at my online order and immediately -- but respectfully -- not only made some product recommendations, but gave me a few tips that are already helping me improve my dab game. Aside from the awesome customer service (seriously, give David a raise!) Ive always found Lux to be one of the most welcoming, well-designed, and expertly-stocked stores in the Seattle area, and this visit was no exception. Bravo, Lux!

Loved this shop at first-I stopped going to this store after several miscommunications. Management and some of the employees regularly told me conflicting information. I communicated the correct information to one of the managers one of the times and the other I went elsewhere. There were more instances but these two in particular really took time out of my day correct- Another lux shop offered to try fix the situation- although I was still out money ( it was awesome of them to try).I will now shop elsewhere because I appreciate communication and clarity. I hope In the future the miscommunications can be addressed as it’s challenging to maintain a positive business relationship with employees of businesses that seem to have different information depending on who you speak with.

Very nice location, very nice looking store on the inside and outside. The staff are all overly friendly, and they have lots of high end brands. The price point is extremely high, having bought the same products from many other stores at ten to twenty dollars less. It makes sense that the budtenders are so personable or else they could not sell any product! They generally know their products and are extremely friendly! The free parking is nice; but the price takes away from the whole experience. When you can get the same final product cheaper elsewhere!

Everything was in cases giving it a bit of a pawn shop vibe but it seemed up to date and well staffed.

Had been a long time shopper here, even when it was stash. Lux was thelast of the Ballard shops to put a rewards program in place and a faulty one at best. My seed total was completely in accurate. One manager and staff member agreed 100%. Said it would be fixed by the weekend.... 2 weeks later, 3 different managers, yeah well fix it. All 3 times they wrote something on sticky pad and brought it to the back. Today 4th manager no thats what you get, in front of 2 of the staff who were there when I first commented on my seed total. They said nothing to 4th manager.Place is a joke just like the rewards. Do yourself a favor and go to DOCKSIDE where the staff and MANAGEMENT are 10x better, the rewards are 10x more rewarding, and the program works!!! Also lux is the most expensive shop in Ballard hands down. All thats real.

Well, one of the best dispensaries hands down!Have you tried the Boysenberry Creme Brulee by Lifted? Its some of the terpiest dankiest herb I found! Orangey raspberry & piney with a smooth caramelized exhale with tangerine& raspberry notes! Really impressed me!The myrcrene lemonene terpinolene and pinene ALL penetrated through for a beautiful smell taste and flavor profile that is unrivaled by many, especially if youre a super fruity gassy Indica leaning hybrid lover as myself! And the bud structure trichomes & hand trim were on point! Be ready to get LIFTED & be warned because this potent strain has the potential to wheelchair or Couchlock you and may change the coarse of your day. Uplifting then super sedating & long lasting! Lots of selection and great attentive and knowledgeable staff. Bonus points for being open a smidge later than the other two shops within range on Thursday and Friday nights cause I get done with work at 11pm- exactly when the other two shops close. My only reservation is the pricing here trends slightly higher than the other two shops nearby for some of the stuff I usually get, but thats by no means a deal breaker for me.

This was my first time here, visiting from California, the Land of the Dank. I was welcomed by the whole staff but David was the one who helped me out. I was very impressed with not only his knowledge to match what I like but his passion and enthusiasm as well. He pulled a few different flowers that matched what I was into and I couldn’t be happier with the over all quality, price, and experience. 10/10 stars. Will definitely be back when I’m in Seattle. This is THE shop for all your high quality needs.

Good products and nice service.

There are a lot of pot shops around the Puget Sound, and because of that, competition is robust and I think that in order to stand out you must have a niche. Luxs niche is steep prices. Their product lineup is pretty narrow compared to a lot of other shops, too. The location is OK, and its convenient for me when closing time is near. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable though and if they werent, I probably would not consider shopping there.I like weed and weed likes me,Were a happy familyWhen I take a hit from a joint or a bong,I make up some really dumb songs.

We’ve shopped @ Lux since it opened. I’ve used the same US passport as ID every time I go in. Until last week. I’m no longer welcome because they’re apparently too buzzed to use a US passport as an ID. What will they do if someone from another country shows up. I don’t care. There are lots of shops in Ballard.

Its always great when I go there everybodys always nice and very helpful. I always enjoy my time when I go there because the employees are always and I mean always the best.

Lux, thé latin word for “light,” is an appropriate name for this flashy, upscale dispensary. If you’re gonna light up and blaze it, Lux has mondo top-shelf choices to offer. Lux is the name in luxury for all your cannabinoid needs! They have beaucoup bourgeois offerings to get you to blast off! Spend the money—it’s worth it.Friday nights Lux also has a Jamaican chef peddling foodstuffs in their parking lot. Worth the trip, just to satiate those refer-induced munchies.

Missing gram. Been going here since it opened as Stash years ago and it’s always been “fine” definitely convenient. Last visit however we picked up 7grams and after noticing the seal was messed up when we got home we measured it and sure enough, only 6grams. Not sure if an employee is stealing or if the Vendor is selling them short.Update: After posting a review I was contacted by Lux and offered a significant discount to my next order.

They have good sales, and their text notifications are often...which can be either good or bad depending on you. Overall its a quality place to get weed at any price you want to pay. I visit a few times a week and they usually have what Im looking for.

We had a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, and didnt mind answering questions. We explained what we wanted and they gave us exactly what we needed. There were enough staff so no waiting lines Quite a variety to choose from as well.

I was so excited when I heard there was a Ballard location but I was really disappointed when I visited, it wasnt at all like the other Lux Id been to. The staff was nice enough to me, but immediately started making rude comments about the customer before me once they had left. For all I know they did the same thing when I left too. I didnt feel welcome and I dont plan on returning. Im going to continue going out of my way to visit the Lake City location

I have NOT run into a bad budtender yet! All are wonderful! Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, funny. They bend over backwards to help in any way! I am in a wheelchair and they all rush to hold the door for me! I would like to point one out...but I cant...they are all sweet and charming! Thanks guys...you are appreciated!

What can I say I went to a pot shop with the same name is my last name. The parking is a little tricky but at the time they allowed people to park in other areas and pointed out where you needed to go. It wasnt too bad trying to find it because of the GPS, but be prepared to take a little time trying to find a parking spot. A solution is to make a trip out of it and Park in a further away spot and check out the shops stores and restaurants. The staff was friendly and knew what they were talking about

Neighborhood dispensary. Love the friendly and knowledgeable budtenders, the awesome selection, and the ease of getting what I need. I bought my Pax 3 there after much debate and couldn’t be happier. Also, they provide discounts frequently on specialty items and send text alerts on sale days, which I appreciate. Great place to pick up a joint, local vegan edibles, and dabs for days.

The shop itself is clean. Selection is sub-par for Seattle. The clerks tend to come across as though they would prefer you werent there. Thats been my experience no less than 4 times. Why did I go back? Because I tend to blame myself for an issue I have. I figured the first couple of times that it was me. That something I did bugged the folks behind the counter.The third time I went and was, again, given a cold shoulder I realized that this was a trend. And I was not served by the same person any of my visits.Come the fourth trip my mind was made. Its them. Not me.Is this a bad shop? No. Is it the nicest? No. Are the clerks as kind as they could be? Absolutely not.

Easy to find, love that there is an organized line whereas most other shops its kind of a free for all and difficult to tell which bud tender is available and who is next to be helped. Great selection (love the binder menus you can peruse while in line), knowledgeable and friendly staff, and enjoyable product. Wish it was closer to home so I could come more often, but a three mile walk might be a bit much for me to be a regular here 😔 but I will definately stop by anytime I am in the neighborhood.

This place is freaking awesome. I would like to say that I love the way they have everything displayed even if I hate the laws not allowing us to handle/smell the product. These guys have it displayed very well and the lady who helped me was extremely friendly and very well informed on the type of medicine I needed.

Really cool architecture: concrete, steel, and cedar- super Seattle PNW style. The selection is enormous and the staff is certainly knowledgeable. This is a good shop for taking visitors because its in the heart of Ballard and definitively has a fancier atmosphere than other pot shops in the city.

This shop has a super helpful and friendly staff. They will accept debit cards for purchases over $25 (you actually buy some sort of cryptocurrency and then pay that to the store, but it plays out like a regular debit transaction). Lots of options and a great selection of sale items.

Place was ok. They didnt give me instructions or explain how to use the pen I got. And I told them I was new to the pen. They werent really informational or anything. And I told them about what i was looking for. And showed me expansive selections. And didnt really answer my questions..

Another Seattle weed experience so stressful and high strung you want to smoke your entire purchase after walking out the door. A “bud tender” breathes down your neck and holds your hand through the entire experience. May be a good experience if you’re not interested in browsing and know exactly what you want.

Pretty good spot I live very close but try to avoid here as much as possible, their prices are not comparable to any other shop... period. Recommend going up north shoreline save you money. Twice the product for half. I just bought a G of oil in shoreline for 40$. 35$ for a half in Ballard all day.

Should be called SUX because every time Ive gone to this location the employees have a really bad and unfriendly attitude. All of them act like they cant be bothered and treat you more like a nuisance then a customer. Thankfully there are plenty of shops staffed with nice, courteous and helpful employees. I choose to give them my money (and tips) instead.

Staff was very informative, forgot her name (lol get the irony in that please!) But she knew her strains, what product gave what kind of buzz etc. The overall experience was fun, easy, and very laid back as you would expect. Check this place out!

Prices seem to fluctuate arbitrarily, so not based on supply or demand, and rather testing what the market will bear. Not a consumer friendly approach. That said, still good selection, and prices arent too high. Manager and most of the staff are knowledged and friendly, and its a nice and efficient use of space.

I probably have a skewed opinion because I had a newer budtender, but I wasnt impressed by the Apple store of pot shops. The shop is small, even by dispensary standards, and the budtender I had didnt seem to want to talk or answer questions. She wanted to hand me a product and get me out of the store. I asked to see a couple of cartridges, specifically something like the live resin carts I get back home. Im a PA medical patient and I know what Im talking about, but this question floored this particular budtender. She went to find someone else, brought back two different dab concentrates and when I said right, but in a cartridge I was met with oh, so not what you asked for as though I has said flower and meant a beverage. I started to change how I phrased what I was looking for (a less refined cartridge, little or no solvent, more plant matter and terps left in / brought back into the mix) and instead of listening, she threw two random other cartridges (completely clear oils made with solvents) on the counter and walked away. Even for all the hype this shop gets, Ill be buying elsewhere.

I felt like royalty having my own personal pot assistant. I regurgitated the kind of high we were looking for, and our associate was able to match us up with a couple brands which were pretty good (as Im told by someone who isnt me of course). I havent noticed too much of a price discrepancy that others have mentioned either, but then again Im no aficionado.

All I can say is WOW! Stash Pot Shop Ballard is one of the most beautiful retail spaces that I have encountered... from cherry wood exterior and cabinets to clean counter displays and flat screens, this location is gorgeous! They have a HUGE selection of flowers, edibles and concentrates to choose from and the budtenders were very friendly and super knowledgeable about each of the products they were suggesting! Pricing is very affordable - with grams as low as $10 & 10 mg treats/pre-rolls starting as low as $7. All tax is included into the price so there is no surprise tax when you get to the register which is really nice! All in all; I had a great experience and will be coming back as a regular. I would recommend this shop for any type of cannabis user - beginner to expert.. Im sure the Stash Team will be able to help you out! Cheers!

Decent selection for a neighborhood weed shop. Definitely not the cheapest, but they are in Ballard.

An old friend visiting Seattle for the first time became the catalyst for my first pot store visit. Recommended by our waitress, the Stash Pot Shop was clean, well-merchandised and professionally staffed. I suspect a pot store visit will soon become one of those things that is just part of the Seattle Tour -- like visiting the Needle, Pike Place Market, the original Starbucks, bubble gum wall, Fremont Troll, Lenins statue, the locks and Snoqualmie Falls.

I just bought a pre roll at this shop and went to smoke it and it was so packed and tight that I didn’t get one good pull. I went back and told them and they told me all flower sales are final. So I spent $10 on one pre roll thanks for nothing I live right next to it and I’m never going back and encouraging my friends to go to Dockside instead.
