I am definitely a believer in this place. I’ve only be here for four months and the stages of where I am now in my recovery are astounding. The staff go above and beyond all day from the front desk checking on me for my appointments to the therapists checking and helping during my workouts.To every single therapist there I have found them to be Highly knowledgeable and would recommend to all. Their service is greatly appreciated by myself and my family.

I was pretty bummed. The orthopedist ordered 6 weeks of PT following my knee surgery. He raved about how great this place was. It was near impossible to schedule appointments and when you did have appointments, you could tell they had double or triple booked you. That wasn’t my biggest problem, though. Several times I was in there and I would wait to book appointments or to ask a question and the front desk staff would completely ignore me. It was horrible. So, I never completed and I haven’t been back.

People are amazing! From when you walk in the door to the graduation day! Very knowledgeable and a great team that works as 1 to get you back in pain free, full motion work mode. I recommend to everyone!

Great PT facility. Personnel were friendly and professional. They designed a great program to strengthen my shoulder. It is now much improved.

Top rate physical therapy gym. staffed by enthusiastic professionals who are there to help you achieve your own goals plus. Not always easy to get appointments as they seem to fill up.

The PTs at Synergy work hard to come up with exercises that both help and challenge you in your recovery. Key thing is that you gotta do them if you want to make progress. They are good at motivating you to stick with it so you continue to improve during your recovery.

Received about 10 weeks of PT after shoulder / bicep repair procedure. All I can say is outstanding service . Omari Phillip was excellent. Much thanks for getting me back to my normal physical activities.

Disorganized and not focused. Most visits the therapist was working with one or two other people at the same time so Id be by myself wondering what I was supposed to be doing next. The exercises exacerbated my condition. I was never told what I would be charged for and ended up getting a surprise bill. I asked several times for copy of my medical chart and a copy of itemized charges. They were very reluctant to share my information with me. Never again. Found a better place with no surprise charges.

This place is terrible. Results of improving are not realisticNo attention paid to the patient. They are expected to do the exercise and therapists don’t watch or correct form. They just play music and talk to each other. Doctors get the kick back and don’t even know what is going on. Dr even admitted wasn’t aware of the routine in own firm

I have been coming to this place for physical therapy for two months, and I had great experiences. When my Doctor ordered urgent physical therapy, I called more than 15 physical therapy places, and this was the only place that could take me in the same week. When I go there, I’m greeted by friendly staff. The best part is my therapist Deborah Lee, OT, she is the best, she helped me get my elbow straight, even after my doctor told me that after breaking it I would not go back to straight again. She is nice and really cares about my elbow getting better. I would highly recommend Deborah for any arm injuries, she will work you hard, but she will get you better. Thank you Debbie.

I was here for my knee surgery PT. Pre and post. My mom also just needed a hip replacement and went here as well for her PT. Our therapists were Bernadette and Laciee. The environment here is open. I would often be in a conversation with a fellow injured person. I was treated with respect as was everyone that I see getting PT there. This staff is really good at their job. I feel empowered, stronger and confident in the direction I am heading. Every time I came in, even in the beginning I was remembered as was previous conversations. I felt cared about and seen, never like a job to be done. This place makes PT enjoyable, even when painful! Thank you Synergy staff! You are all fantastic.

If I could give a 6/5 stars, I would. This group of standup professionals really healed my ACL. They were articulate, excellent at what they do, and so kind and cool. They really kept me calm and on track despite my paranoia with my knee. Such great people to be around. Thank you Justin, Omari, Jessica, and Mary! And Sergio for hooking me up with the ice!The receptionist Danielle was awesome too. They were so flexible and efficient with changing your schedule. All you had to do was call them and they pick up right away and BAM! they change your appointment time. Easy click. There was none of that “Dial 2 for front office etc.” So efficient. Thanks Danielle!Thank you guys so much for all your help, I really appreciate it.

I was originally referred to Dr. Downing for my foot injury. After having x-rays taken, Dr. Downing referred me to another doctor with Synergy Specialists Orthopedics, as my foot injury was severe, and Dr. Downing was a specialist in upper extremities. I then was seen by doctor Dreeben, and she scheduled me for surgery.My experience from the beginning has been great. I felt thoroughly confident in the care I received, and had a good experience with every doctor and nurse I was in contact with.Dr. Downing was very easy to work with during my first visit and x-rays, and instilled a strong positive impression during the two visits I made to his office.Dr. Dreeben was very easy to work with and very informative and confident in explaining my injury and surgical needs.Overall great experience from synergy specialists.

VERY FRUSTRATED & DISAPPOINTED!!! I was referred to Dr. Downing by my primary for some ongoing wrist pain Ive been having after injuring my wrist in a kickboxing class. I was looking forward to meeting a doctor who specializes in upper extremities since my wrist has been an ongoing issue for a long time due to an old injury. Unfortunately Ive been denied the opportunity to see him twice. I scheduled my first appointment only to have them call and cancel because he needed to perform surgery that day. I rescheduled for a week later.My new appointment was confirmed the day prior and the morning of the appointment I arrived to his office only to be told by the front desk that Dr. Downing wont be in until 11am that day (even though my check-in time was for 8:30). Id already taken time off work and drove down to Chula Vista only to have it be cancelled upon my arrival due to him needing to be in the hospital that morning. TWICE my appointment has been cancelled. Needless to say, Im not impressed and this doctor needs to work on his scheduling. Sounds like maybe he is spreading himself too thin. Not sure if Ill attempt to reschedule again, I may just ask my primary for a new recommendation.

I thank God for this place and Bernadette, she is an amazingly gifted physical therapist, she utterly changed my life. Remember you have to do your homework.
