Things started great but eventually my reverly product seals were consistently broken (like three diff times) and the bud look and weights were off. Service fee was sometimes $3 sometimes $4 at pick up window. idk just started getting inconsistent results so found another place with fresher looking bud, completely sealed product, and correct weight every time plus no added/changing service charges. Wanted to love GSG but can not go back to the inconsistency. I always weigh and spend way too much on weed.

Two years I regularly came in and spent substantial amounts of my very hard earned military disability paycheck. Constant turnover of clueless, rude & petty bud- tenders. Utterly disrespectful to disabled veterans. I’ll never go there again. I advise everybody to avoid.

Everyone inside was maskless & in your face 😱 Plus there was a puppy inside a car in the parking lot with the windows rolled ALL the way up. I informed security that they should alert their customers, as I would break the window if no one came out to the vehicle. He informed me HE KNEW & if I touched the car, hed have me arrested because it was private property. Which is TOTALLY not the law in California. Luckily the owner walked out not 2 minutes later. Rude! Prices were high as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! (GO TO THCSD they love their customers!)

If you are from out of state and are searching for dispensaries, this is the one! Kelly was amazing!! She was knowledgeable and kept a smile while we run her from one end of the counter to the other. From the security guards up front to everyone in the store we were made to feel like being overwhelmed was perfectly fine and understandable.Great products and large selection!I recommend and hope to be back in a few months myself. 🙂

Im a first time customer and wasnt sure how to register but I called and I spoke to a wonderful lady that helped me out along the way. She also asked what I liked and gave me amazing suggestions and told me about deals that was not on the website so I suggest if you want some deals give them a call! I also received an awesome 25% off discount for being a San Diego resident!! Overall amazing customer service and Ill definitely come again.

My first ten purchases (minimum $60 each) earned $50 off. After eight more purchases (minimum $60 each) the delivery driver said they werent using the punch card system but the office would keep track such that after my 10th purchase I would receive the $50 off reward. I called to order my eleventh delivery on 7/28/2021 and was denied my reward because the system had changed. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I was speaking to the manager. She suggested that I register online for the future and I mentioned that there was a lot of competition for my weed dollar. Thats where it stands at present and I am very disappointed. Updated 8/17/2021. All my issues have been resolved. I have been treated very fairly and intend to continue all my cannabis purchases from GSG. Im a fully registered and happy customer. Thanks.

The prices for what I wanted were literally half of what I would have paid in LV, so I was pretty stoked before I even walked in. Its an unassuming place and very chill. The budtender was awesome and knowledgeable. I wont look for another dispensary when Im in SD, I found my spot.

We ordered a $50 cigar for our 4 day big bear Valentines Day weekend from Lit la mesa. When we got to Big Bear and opened up the cigar it was raggedy and falling apart. It was unsmokable because half of the weed had fallen out of the cigar and into the vile. My husband and I order at least $300 worth of weed a month from lit. We both had an account and they can access our records. When we went to Lit on Monday after our vacation, we showed the manager our clearly defective cigar. The manager responded with a smile Sorry, there is nothing that we can do.. Therefore we are no longer going to lit. And you should not either. They have horrible products and even worse customer service. Even though lit is closer to my house I am going to return my business to Golden State Greens near PB because they have great products, great customer service and they even offer teacher and cancer patient discounts. I will never step foot in Lit again and would advise you to explore other options before coming here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is the best dispensary in San Diego as a cancer patient they were the ONLY dispensary to go above and Beyond with their customer service and assisting my needs. I called in today and spoke to Pedrito and he helped me find a quality strain to meet my medical needs.

Always greated with smiles from the moment i walk in, bud tenders are on there A game here, very well knowledgeable, i uaslly tell them what symptoms i need to get relief from, and i have not had one strain not work, mat it be for pain, sleeping, depression, anxiety, etc. The buds are always fire, there is nugs for every budget, even the mid and below are good, they take passion here to serve their paitents. I purchased a cartridge here and it did not function. After all the employees and manager put there lips on it and blew in it they turned the battery up so high it was just smoking the wick and they told me it worked and to f off. I would not recommend going here I am 99.9% sure this cartridge is a counterfeit heavy hitter as it does not look like the other ones from the same brand.

I live in Oregon and had the pleasure of visiting San Diego recently. This visit took place on October 28, about 1pm.Upon arrival, my first stop was a dispensary (naturally). I travel a lot and it’s really fun to visit cannabis shops across the country! Every state is different, so I always take my visits to new places with a grain of salt. Here’s how my visit to Golden State Greens went, bearing in mind that it’s from the perspective of a non-local, as well as someone who has never been in a CA dispensary.First, I didn’t love the area that the shop was in (seemed sketchy), and parking wasn’t plentiful at the time of day I visited. I entered the shop, and was greeted immediately by a friendly guy at a desk. He took my ID, and pointed me to a crowded waiting area. This is new to me, a waiting area. Due to Covid, the dispensaries I visit queue up a line outside and only allow so many people inside the shop. Glad everyone has their masks on, but people are sitting only about two feet apart. I waited only about five minutes (yay!) when a young guy comes out and calls me back. I’ve already prepared for my shopping by looking at their online menu and taking screen shots of what I want. But when I try to open my phone to look at my list, I’m told “phones aren’t allowed back here”. Another thing that’s new to me. Ok, I’m cool, I can totally go with the flow. But now, I have to use my memory, and, of course, I can’t remember the product names I had wanted. So I’m stumbling through telling this kid what I want (I say kid because I’m in my forties and now everyone younger than me is a kid. He could be 30. I don’t know.) I feel awkward and the kid isn’t really helping me feel better. I’m being pretty clear about what I want: Example: “I want some hybrid pre-rolls, some sativa dominant and some indica dominant. High THC”.He starts pointing at products, but he’s only telling me strain names. This doesn’t help me because I don’t know the attributes of every strain by name (who does, really?). Still feeling awkward.At last I pick my pre-rolls, and I’m not sure if they are necessarily what I want because of how “clunky” the whole shopping experience I’d been thus far. I had wanted a variety of all different pre-rolls, but I ended up just getting packs of two strains. We move to edibles. At the counter, I’m striking up conversation and I mention I’m from Oregon, and wow, how things are different up there. Then I made a comment about how cannabis is cheaper in the PNW, and the kid says the first thing that totally irks me.“Well.... I doubt it’s as good as what we have”.Really? Have you been to the PNW? Have you seen the crazy amazing flower I enjoy? Also, I never made any kind of comment about the QUALITY of the products, so why is he getting defensive? I love the PNW and I don’t like the insinuation that we have bad weed, so now I’m feeling defensive too, and I was taken aback. I’m a pretty meek person and I just moved on to choosing my edibles and scuttling the hell out. Which I did.Summary:I’m going to be just neutral about my experience. It wasn’t five star, but it also wasn’t horrible. The review is to help educate others who may be looking at shops to visit when in SD.I greatly enjoyed the products. The quality of the flower I got was excellent for the price point I chose. Edibles were super fine, on sale, and really relaxed me during my three days on the beach in beautiful LaJolla!That’s all.

First time we came in, it was great. Had a very helpful, knowledgeable and enjoyable experience with a lovely employee. But after we left we realized the cartridge we got had a burnt coil and it seemed as though we may be inhaling some bad chemicals. Brought it back for an exchange and because the cartridge was working they refused to exchange it for one that would that would likely be better for our lungs. Said “they don’t exchange due to taste” Had a wonderful first visit but will not be returning.

I especially appreciate working with the people who work the delivery/pick up phone lines as they have been g straingttendlessly patient with me as I t n to order. Ive been going to this dispensary since they opened and it is the only one I go to in San Diego based on their great value, selection, an]yd customer service.

First time visitor to GSG. Check in process was quick and painless. After a brief wait I was called back. My bud-tender was pleasant yet when asked about the price on some of their prerolls she couldnt answer the question, she didnt know.After purchase I noticed each preroll had a sticker with the price on it. Overall not a huge deal on a small purchase, pricing was average (when compared to others weed maps menus.

100% in every way. I am from out of state. The process was simple with my home state drivers license. The reception was perfect and my bud tender was very well informed. My flowers were very tasty and the recommendation from the bud tender was excellent. I am going back tomorrow.

Ive been a long time patient for years now and used to buy from Golden State Greens every other week, until I had the experience this morning that will never have me return. I was the first customer this morning and immediately as I entered the front entrance I was met by a man with a raised voice asking for my ID and rushing to put on plastic gloves. There was another man sitting down behind the desk that the first person gave my ID to and I was told to go wait in the waiting room as they attempted to check me in. I didnt want to walk away from my license so I stood there, which they seemed to have a problem with. They kept asking me if I have been there before, if it was my first time there, what my phone number was, etc.Ive been there more than enough times to know the process and flow of checking in.Walk in. Go to the desk to check in by showing ID. After being checked in by competent staff wait in the waiting room. Wait for name to be called.I wont be doing business here again. I called moments after driving away to include the names of the two men but the employee said she was unable to provide their names. I asked for a supervisor and spoke to a man named Misa that apologized for the experience and took down my information to call me back. I received a missed call while driving but no voicemail was left.Look GSG, youre dealing with patients.Train your staff for an efficient and seamless experience to avoid losing customers or negative reviews.

Don’t bother with their Delivery service... Best case they’re incredibly slow. In my case, driver decided to no-call no show. Waste of 2.5 hours sitting by the phone. I could’ve walked to 4 closer dispensaries, next time I’ll do so.

This is one of the only dispensaries I go to since it became fully legal. I love this spot. If you plan it right no line but, even if there is a line they move fast! Hit this place up after a three hour flight turned into a seven hour flight. It was near closing time, I knew what I wanted and they got it to me and I was out the door. I’m from out of town with no medical card, no problem if your legal age with a valid state ID, and if you’re a veteran, bring your military ID for an extra discount. Very accommodating, although the experience is a bit different than where I come from, good products with decent prices. I’ll be back if I need anything else within the week, thanks again, saved my night.

Parking was a little tricky. The girl who checked me in was very friendly and attractive. The gentleman who helped me find my vaporizer pen was quick and new all about the product I was looking for. My first experience with a cannabis retailer. They made me feel very at ease with the process including the large selection of cannabis products. They offer quite a few discounts and the flower was very good and local so no complaints there.

Security was very rude and refused service dogs. If that is the case why didnt your security tell me that instead of immediately shutting the door in my face as soon as he seen my service dog.

Ive been patronizing this dispensary for a year and never experienced anything but people with a ready smile and as friendly as can be. All of their stock is top shelf and a super variety. I surely hope they prosper.

They never have raw gardens in stock when I know it’s a hot commodity! The real patients need this concentrate; it’s the only thing that helps me! I’ve had my name on their request list & have never been called.. They only appeal to the young crowd that is ingesting for fun!

They have pretty good flower in stock however the bud tenders have very little knowledge about the products that they sell, especially if you are looking for extracts or cartridges. In addition, everything except the flower is hidden in packaging.When visually inspecting these types of products can be crucial to assessing their quality, and the employees can’t tell you anything about them... that is a huge set back.I asked for Rosin or Hash Rosin products and was handed Live Resin products. After telling them that was not what I was asking for, and that I was only interested in solventless products.. I had two separate tenders ask me what the difference was. They also could not tell me much about the different active cannabinoids in their products and how that effected the way they made you feel.Basically they have some relatively decent flower products and the extracts were alright, but as a customer I dont feel I should have to educate the employees about the products that they sell.
