I think that this office is way under rated. The staff took me in, were understanding ofy my anxieties around visiting the doctors office. The nurse practitioner, listened and helped me figure out the next steps. On top of that, super clean and helpful getting referrals to specialists.Thank you Lomita Family Medical Group! Thank you for being one of my first positive medical experiences ♡

Horrible place to get care for yourself or child, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE if you would like proper care. My appointments have been changed with out my consent, they have send my child to receive his vaccines at a pharmacy? I have never experience horrible service in any medical department.

First time appt with my uncle. Was told we were way early. There was no one in the waiting room, so we were just the extra bodies inside i guess. Was told to come back at original hour and to call b4 we get there. Also was told we could not enter with, to see doctor. Which, is ridiculous because the patient is 1). Blind 2). Speech impaired due to several strokes. Ummm, goodbye, felicias.. I wouldnt let my toddler or child go back office without me.. Why would I allow my fam member to do that when he is basically a child..Front desk lady is a rude woman. She should be in the construction field, not medical

The doctors themselves are really nice and professional but the service and attitudes of some of the front girls is really sad...I see why this place has 2.8 stars at the time of this..cant believe I called asking for simple info and for something to be sent to me just to be called a liar by some girl with a attitude then they took over 2 hrs and waited right before closing to send a paper while I was sitting at a place they sent me to...its one paper and I gave you the fax on the phone .could have done it then before getting off...the place is never packed enough to the point one of the 8 people working there cant send one piece of paper. Will be changing

The referral coordinator for this place is a joke. They gave me the phone number for 3 different ortho doctors that didnt take my insurance. They gave me the number for a physical therapist who didnt take my insurance, then when I asked why this keeps happening and what I can do to actually see someone who takes men insurance, they told me I could find someone myself. So, I guess IM my own referral coordinator. My doctor only works 3 days a week there so getting in touch with her is impossible, then she calls me back at 7:30pm at night. When I called to ask about my test results she asked me if I had picked up the medication she prescribed to me (no medication was prescribed), then she told me she got me confused with another patient. Needless to say I immediately requested another doctor at a different clinic. So far it has been 4 weeks and I have no been able to speak to either specialty doctors they keep telling me they will refer me to.

Front desk was rude to me, the nurse was not professional at all, she kept answering her cell phone over and over again in the middle of us talking about my sickness. I didnt feel like I was getting help and the help I needed.:(

Staff: FriendlyDoctor: FriendlyClinic Cleanliness: ExcellentAppointment Time: 0830My Arrival Time: 0810Check-in Time: 0820Doctor arrival time: 0915Seen by Doc: 0931Left exam room:0935Complete waste of time.Overall: I knew why I needed to be seen by a doctor, and the examination was as quick- as I knew I should be. What wasnt appreciated is how much of my time was wasted, and how late I am to work due to the lack of patient time, and consideration. The doctor walked in without acknowledgement of his whole late hour arrival, and jumped right into my medical situation. I quickly stopped him and said that he has to acknowledge his tardiness, and needs to introduce himself. After he did so, (but had to add a a few excuse) he began with my examination with, while I let go of my attitude and joked and laughed with him. I was told by a staff member that he typically gets into the office at 0900/0915. My question to her (irritably) was what sense does it make to schedule an 0830 appointment then, wouldnt 0930 have been more logical?! She then told me he has an 0800 person before me, and I had then said it thats unacceptable, and I need to b leave for work. Mind you, I start work at 0600 M-F, and this was the only appointment I could get until AUGUST! so I possibly couldnt get an afternoon time when Im off at 230!I will finish my insurance enrollment with this provider, but will not be back to this location. Punctuality, consideration, and professionalism for your paying clients are huge, and the ball was severely dropped- as if I was getting free medical service at a PPH clinic for teenagers. They could be a little more up-to-date with electronically sending prescriptions to the pharmacy. That just added an additional latency issue for work tardiness. Really wish I couldve left a better review.
