I am very disappointed. My 76 year old mother made an appointment to see Dr. Bhat about a month ago. Her insurance information was taken and verified. The office even sent her forms to fill out for her upcoming visit. She received a call moments ago that Dr. Bhat was no longer accepting Medicare patients and therefore her appointment in the next TWO DAYS was canceled. They offered to see if another physician took Medicare but she would not be seen for a few more weeks. This is totally disturbing and disappointing.

I cannot praise Dr. Bhat enough . She is such a kind ,loving , nurturing , and brilliant doctor who goes out of her way every time . I have been her patient for many years , and she has truly helped me and cured me of my different ailments . She is so thorough , and patientlylistens to me with such compassion . She deeply cares for her patients and is such a gem of a person ! She is very knowledgeable in her field . She also sees my mother , takes great care of her , and is so wonderful with the elderly . If you are looking for a family physician , I highly recommend Dr. Bhat .

I wish I could rate Dr. Bhat and her practice team 10/5 because that is what they deserve. Dr. Bhat is the most professional, timely, thorough, and caring medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Ive been going to Dr. Bhat around 5 years now and have too many examples of what a great doctor she is to list them all out in this little box.I will, however, mention a quick example of her going above and beyond. The office management team at another doctor I was seeing was totally incompetent at refilling my prescription. I started having severe side effects/withdrawals from abruptly quitting the medication, and was having zero luck with the other doctors staff helping me. This other doctor made it clear by their absence and lack of follow up that my health was not a priority once their fee was collected.So I called Dr. Bhat to see if she could help. WITHIN AN HOUR, Dr. Bhat was on a video call with me talking about what happened and how she could help. She not only refilled my prescription right there and then, she also stayed on the video with me until she could verify if the pharmacy got my prescription. Within minutes, I got a text from my pharmacy saying my prescription would be ready the same day. She didnt have to do this - it was clear she was busy and could have gotten an assistant to make an appointment later. But she took the time and trouble to make sure I was ok. I feel like crying, I am so touched by this experience.As I stated above, this is just one example of Dr. Bhats bedside manner and care for her patients. But please dont think she just randomly hands out prescriptions. She got on a call with me to get all the pertinent info before she did anything.I might start a fan club for Dr. Bhat. Whos with me???

Dr. Bhat is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Her wait times are minimal, and she is good about scheduling you if you need an appointment at the last minute. She listens attentively, and does everything she can to help you. She’s very welcoming and explains everything in detail. You can be in and out in as little as 30 minutes depending on why you are there. They have a lab in the office, so getting blood work done is quick and easy too. Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

Absolutely amazing doctor ! She is thorough and takes the time to explain things. She made me feel comfortable the entire appointment. Super knowledgable and attentive to the needs to her patients !

Dr. Bhat has been my doctor for 3years. She is the most compassionate and understanding doctor I’ve ever had. She takes the time to listen to and address all of my concerns and she follows up with me promptly after I’ve had labs drawn. Hands down she is the absolute best and I couldn’t be happier knowing that she’s my PCP. She is one of a kind!

Very good doctor, she explaining everything in details. If you are going to doc bhat means you dont Nee to worry about anything thing because she is treating her patients very personally and carefully. I am really very happy and satisfied with her. She always suggests me right things.

I have been seeing Dr. Bhat for a few years. And even though I moved to Sherman from Richardson, I still make the trip to see her. She is wonderful and I have no issues putting my health in her hands!!

Dr. Bhat is an AMAZING doctor! I feel so blessed to have her as my PCP. She is caring and attentive and really listens and addresses your concerns. I picked her from a list of PCPs in Match of 2017 and had no idea I had hit the medical jackpot lol! It can be hard to get in to see her because she’s so awesome but she will do her best to see you. Oh and she actually calls you to follow up after tests and bloodwork! I hope I can continue to keep her as my doctor for years to come.

I am rating them one star because of their unprofessional behavior. My wife was given appointment at 10:45 and was asked to be there by 10:30. We were right on time, completed the paper work and guess what, we kept waiting until 11:30. When we asked front staff about the delay, they tried to make an excuse that we came earier than our appointment time. We had written confirmation about appointment time and I called early morning to confirm the time. There was no explanation at all and when we expressed our concerns and were just about to go back, we were called 45 minutes after our scheduled time.I have seen Dr. Shubha Bhat a couple of times in the past and dont remember waiting that long. I believe they owe us an explanation and apology about the delay. They should respect patients time and behave professionally.

I love love love this woman!!!! Dr. Bhat has been my doctor since 2011. She is a very patient woman, she takes the time to get to know you. You never feel rushed through your visit. Hands down she is the BEST doctor ive ever came across!!!!!!!

She takes her time with you, and is very thorough. Shes very sweet and I highly recommend her.

The best Dr ever, she saves my life, her knowledge pointed some symptoms and she send me to do an ultrasound, that was crucial!! Doctors detected ovarian cancer in phase 1, thanks to Dr. Bhat I was able to have prompt attention she refereed me to an excellent Gynecologist and oncologist. Thanks Dr. Bhat to care about us.
