Facility:Old furniture and equipment. The place could use some remodeling.Staff:None of the staff wore scrubs. Instead, they all wore jeans and a tee-shirt or polo. That may show for how professional they are.Doctor:He is an elderly physician, I got the impression that he was very old fashion and didnt keep up with new standards in medicine.

Second time I have been blown off from their office. Very disappointing that I can’t get a call back or email regarding test results or a prescription refill. I have been going to their office for many years.

I came in as a walk-in, the entire visit took 2 hours (90% me just waiting in the exam room) even though it appeared to be empty. I was referred to an external imaging service for an appointment the following business day to which they then forgot to even fax the paperwork for appointment. In the end my imaging appointment was canceled and I will be starting my search for medical help over. If you need something checked out in a timely manner, Id suggest going elsewhere.Edit:Also asked for a flu shot but they took so long that I ran out of time.

The doctors and staff here are very professional. I always feel like they truly care. Thank you for your hard work and patience!

Dr. Antoine Albert and Shandolyn Story,  are amazing doctors, very helpful and kind. But to get to these amazing doctors you have to go through these horrible staff of nurses. The nurses are not helpful, cold demeanor. They hang up on you when you call, (one time an accident, two or three on purpose) never send your prescriptions or get it wrong when they go. Talk rudely to patients and dismissed any concerns we have. They are the first face we see when we come in. And their actions are not reflecting good on these two incredible doctors.

So glad I found Texas Family Medical and Dr. Albert and his team! I love that this practice is close to my house and that they accept walk-in patients everyday. This is so convenient for when you wake up sick that you know you can see a doctor who knows you verse having to go to an urgent care! Megan Weis, NP on staff is an outstanding nurse practitioner. She does a great job getting you seen in a timely manner and feeling better as quickly as possible! They are also super kid friendly! They always have Nick Jr. on for kids to watch in the waiting room and Michelle the office manager went above and beyond to help me entertain my children while I had x-rays done! I can’t say enough great things about this practice and their staff!

First, Dr. Albert is an amazing teaching physician and my children and I learn from him every time we have a visit. On the other-hand, his staff does NOT reflect that. I believe they may take advantage of serving majority of lower-income families and can get a way with half-doing their job to SERVE patients. I Do NOT like writing these kinds of reviews, but his staff needs to be evaluated before hes liable. I am NOT complaining on just ONE incident. First, I had paperwork that was suppose to be sent to my childs school, that shows his diagnosis. Dr. Albert was the referring physician and all my childs medical records went to his office. The staff sent back he was never diagnosed, once I made them aware of it they did it again, not ONCE but TWICE. On the second incident, my son was referred to another physician by Dr. Albert. I delivered them the required document from the other physician for Dr. Albert to sign, they misplaced them and found them a month later, AFTER I had to go back and do the process all over again (please note that I live 45mins away). The third incident is the one that has me upset. 2 years in a row I have taken my child for their immunizations . I told the nurse I believe he needs vaccines they take the immunization records as if they reviewed it, come back and say he doesnt need them, even though hes at the age where its required. When I went to my childs school the nurse there said it was incorrect. I call back to Dr. Albert staff and they told me they had no available appts, so I can walk in. So I do, I waited over an hour, there were people who were sick coming in and my children werent sick. So we left, the next day they still refuse to get me in even though its THEIR error. So I ask for a prescription for the 2 vaccines, that way I can go to a nearby pharmacy to get them administered. The staff member I spoke to stated call back at 4 when I asked when they closed she stated 5 oclock. Mind you school starts tomorrow.Needless to say , I will NOT be returning to see Dr. Albert, due to his staff. Its sad because hes such an incredible physician.

Me, my mother, and my son have been patients of Dr. Albert for 5 years. He is very thorough, patient, and kind. His staff is amazing. Cynthia, the office Manager is awesome. She is very smart and efficient. I see a RNP Megan Weis at this practice. She is so smart and really listens to you. All in all this a great practice filled with amazing people!

Dr.Albert has been my sons doctor for the past 3 years. He is a real FAMILY doctor. He works well with my eldest allergy flare ups, and is not afraid to voice his opinion on other treatments prescribed to him by his pulmonologist.He loves seeing his little patients come back, and has even worked with administering my sons monthly shots. We havent seen him in a long while, but winter is coming soon - you know. One of the best docs round town!

Love the whole staff! Dr. Albert is so through and kind. He does not judge and makes you comfortable talking to him. So glad I found him!!

Waiting time like 1 hour and nobody come and nothing

I have 5 children, one is down syndrome, and myself who see Dr. Albert. Honestly,from my heart, he is the best Dr. I have ever met in whole time as a mother! My children are 17,18,19,20, and 21. I am 40.....Dr. Albert takes the time to explain what the problem is, he listens to what you have to say, and his staff make you feel at home. If I have a choice I will never see another doctor.......HE IS THE BEST!

In general Ive always had a good experience here, but Im forced to change doctors at the last minute because they refuse to believe my medication that I must take has been discontinued. Ive called 3 pharmacies, even had one call THEM to tell them the manufacturer has announced they are discontinuing and they still refuse to write me a new prescription. This is a noncontrolled substance for hormonal balance. There is no reason I should have to call every pharmacy in the county to get the last remaining stock of a medicine they announced they wont be making anymore when there are literally 30 alternatives under different brand names. Can they not find a prescription pad? Cant be bothered to take the 5 minutes to scan and send to my pharmacy so theyd rather argue with my pharmacist? Skip this place.

Great location, competent facility, phenomenal staff, have been coming here for about 6 years and honestly Dr. Albert and Dr. Shandolyn have the best bed side manner of any doctor i have been too, everyone there always makes my son feel safe and happy as well. A+ Crew over there!

Dr. Albert has been in his profession for quite some time. He is very professional and listens to what concerns you may have. He does not act as if he has all the answers. If he does not know he will refer you to someone who does. He has been my doctor for quite sometime. Let me tell you, he will not prescribe meds you do not need. That is a plus all by itself!!

I see the doctor and my husband sees the PA. The doctor is good. The receptionists are horrible. They need to be FIRED. On our last visit, there were two receptionists literally arguing with one another. Dr. Albert.... Please look for better front desk staff.UPDATE: Do not see the PA. She told my hubby she would refill his much needed prescriptions for 90 days. She didnt tell him he needed to return in 3 weeks so he didnt make his next appointment. 60 days later and she denied his medication because he didnt come in.... Um... HELLO? How would he know he needed to come back? He didnt even switch meds so it wasnt like he was trying something new! Ive been to plenty of doctors who will let front desk know you need to schedule next appointment. Im scheduled for ALL my OBGYN appointments in advance so theres no reason she could not set this up for a hypertensive patient! We found somewhere else. I knew she wasnt good because she just wants to keep my husband on pills! She even told him not to exercise then complained when he gained some weight. Stupid!Update 8/11/17: We switched doctors and my husband found that he does NOT even have hypertension. He has Hyperaldosteronism. And she missed it for this long! Thats what has been making his blood pressure high. Im so glad we dont see this PA (Ms. Story) anymore.

Worst experience ever! The nurses were not trained at all. They have no idea what to do. Mistakes happened all the time. If you wanna get your result accurate and on time, do not come here!

This one was a really hard one for me, because I love, love Dr. Abert. and his daughter doctor Shandolyn Story. I would have rated a 5 stars. Doctors like them do not come around easily. But the staff, are unprofessional. Maybe is a lack of training or not hiring the right skill person/nurse. The staff does not follow up or take notes correctly to relate to the doctors. My kids were seen on 05/11/2018, I drove from Denton, TX just to see him. I remain loyal and keep coming back. But the clinic staff need some improvement.
