The staff is very friendly, and they are willing to work with you. Unfortunately, they NEVER return phone calls. I have to call multiple times a day, multiple days a week just to get an answer.

I am not happy with Management and some of my treatment team. There are several I can count on to get the job done. I am so tired of my name, account information, and appointments getting mixed up with others who share my name. I specifically give my middle name. Too many people answer the phone or set up appointments but cannot confirm because someone dropped the ball. They are quick to get money before your appointment or you wont get your medicine. I had to go off about that. I am okay with my provider but I dont feel personed centered because I feel decisions are made and my input does not count.

Initially I loved it, but since my insurance is not accepted Ive been paying $100 out of pocket. You think they would offer a scale payment, but they dont. In the past Ive been able to make payments when I didnt have the full amount. Today is one of those times. I offered to pay $60 today and $40 next week and I was told they would only accept full payment. As a result of this Ive been denied services, which means no medication for my bipolar disorder, or ADHD. Im uncertain at what point money became their central concern, but its DEFINITELY NOT mental health! I will miss Daria. She is the best!UPDATE:I left a review on their Facebook page and received immediate attention from a staff member. She apologized, contacted the office and straightened everything out. Im honestly disappointed that I had to go this route in order to receive results.

Run. Run as fast as you possibly can. Do not get sucked into this place. No one respects anyone. No one knows what’s going on. If you’re going for mental health or to obtain sobriety, just please choose somewhere else. The providers aren’t respectful to patients. You’re a number to them and nothing more, they don’t care that people in recovery are very fragile. Pre Covid your office wait time could be up to 4 hours, no exaggeration. Let’s not forget that when they put your appointment in and give you a card and you misplace said card and someone else who books appointments books over yours and you don’t have that card, good luck getting your meds. The Carter Clinic is the most unprofessional, unorganized, scandalous clinic I’ve ever come in contact with. RUN.

Dr Volow is the best doctor Ive ever had. He cares and goes way above and beyond for his patients. Thank you for being a diamond in rough when it comes to doctors! The rest of the staff is caring and great too. Thank you Carter Clinic. I miss you guys since moving away big time.
