The vibe and atmosphere of this office is fantastic. I took my 2 year old in for his first dentist experience and he seemed very relaxed in the lobby and hallways. When we got in the room he got a little anxious with the equipment around, but not too bad. Dentist was wonderful! Very friendly. Explained everything we needed to know about my son’s teeth and what to expect as he gets older. Really the only thing that didn’t go well was seeing the dental assistant. She was practically head to toe in protective gear which made my toddler uncomfortable. Then she didn’t say much and talked very softly when she did, making my kid even more uncomfortable. It was unfortunate as the rest of the experience was great. Let’s call it 5.75 stars!

Upon a friend’s recommendation, my wife and I visited. Reception was organized and friendly during the C-19 pandemic. My dental assistant was friendly, efficient and prompt. Dr Galligan was professional, yet friendly. This is an excellent office and a competent dentist.

My family and I have been going to Galligan Family dentistry for years. Dr. Galligan is the best dentist I have ever had- he is friendly, kind, informative, attentive, and always does a great job. The dental hygenists at the practice are also very kind and friendly and provide thorough cleanings with no discomfort. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean, modern, and spacious. When I moved away for school, I went to a local dentist that recommended me thousands of dollars of unnecessary procedures and would not treat me until I had them done. Vicki (the practice manager) went above and beyond to help me schedule an appointment for a weekend when I could fly home, and the flight was certainly worth the trip! I would 100% recommend Galligan Family Dentistry!

Truly a family dentistry. Dr. Galligan and his wife, Vicki, are always caring and helpful. I have twin boys, both with braces, and they are coming along great. This was my first visit to Dr Galligan Family Dentistry. Just moved here from Florida and was looking for a new Dentist. I went in for a Comprehensive Exam. I also had Professional Deep Cleaning. She is so competent to make sure information is all up to date, and gets my next exam scheduled with ease. I just moved to the area from California and I was very nervous about finding a new dentist. Dr. Galligan and his team put my mind at ease. The facilities are clean, new, and visually pleasing. The people working there are so friendly and personable. They make you feel like you have known them for years.Dr. Galligan was absolutely amazing with my 3 year old daughter (the hygienist too). They were so great, that my daughter is excited to go back. I love this Dentistry. The staff at this place are so friendly and courteous. They will take their time to ask any questions that you may have. As you go inside, they have free water bottles and great coffee; when you leave they provide you with condiments---toothbrush, mouthwash, floss, etc. The head dentist itself is very friendly; a realist to me. I personally recommend people to come to this Dentistry. You wont be disappointed.

I hadnt been to the dentist in a while and wanted to triage my problems and put together a plan of action. Dr. Galligan explains things carefully and well. I feel like I got an education as well as a cleaning. I have been to a dentist before where everything was a sales pitch and was worried that would happen here - but NO!! In fact, he talked me down from wanting all my fillings replaced. (its too invasive and they are fine).Thanks to Dr. Galligans explanation, I now understand more about tooth grinding and clenching as well. Very gentle dental hygienist, Laura, took great care of me too. They really emphasize patient education and treated me very well. This is where I will stay!

When they say Family Dentistry, they mean it. Right off the bat, they welcome you and make you feel at home with a spacious waiting room and a game room just for the kids. The wifi and phone chargers are definitely a plus. The staff are great and always have a smile on their face. The rooms in the back are also spacious and they offer you Netflix to watch while you wait, definitely a plus. The hygienists always remember what you talked about on your last visit, so it feels more like your visiting a family friend, rather than a the dentists. Before coming to Dr. Galligan it had been years since I had seen a dentist... I was so afraid of the dentist that I chose just to not go at all... The anxiety leading up to a dental appointment was truly crippling!Well, not only is Dr. Galligan not only a miracle worker but his entire staff is amazing! Over the past few years I have let them pull my wisdom teeth, do deep cleanings, regular cleanings and today Dr. G replaced an old filling with no pain at all! I didnt even feel it when he shot me up with the Novocain!I am quite sure there was never anyone more scared of the dentist then me but no more!!!Thank you, Dr. Galligan and your wonderful crew!!!!

Let me first get this out of the way---I am terrified of dentists the way some people are terrified of clowns, or maybe spiders. I avoided going for a really long time. I had to go because a crown was falling out and I needed help. Everyone I have encountered was absolutely amazing. They set up an appointment lickety-split and they saw me the next day. Erin and Margaret are great assistants and Dr. Galligan is a truly wonderful dentist. He has a great chairside manner and he explains everything thoroughly. The staff do a FANTASTIC job of wringing every last cent from my insurance company to make the coverage stretch as far as possible. Absolutely brilliant.

I am hopeful that this was a rare occurrence for Galigan Family Dentistry but I am so upset by their treatment that I feel compelled to write a review for the first time in my life. Five years ago I was a college student who had veneers done by them. They were a couple thousand dollars which I didn’t have but I took out a credit card and paid them off. On average veneers are supposed to last 10 years. This past weekend one of those veneers popped off. I called a few emergency dentist Saturday who told me their office policy was that they would fix them if it was within 10 years so I should wait until the place that did themOpened.This morning I called Galigan and told them what happened. The office manager found my information and said she would get me in but wasn’t sure what to file the appt under so she was going to ask the dentist and call me back. I’m a school teacher so I waited until my students went to lunch and called back since I never received a call back. The office manager then told me I hadn’t seen them in five years and they couldn’t help me. I explained I moved which is why I see a new dentist but she didn’t seem to care. She then informed me that I was “dismissed” as a patient in 2013 and they would not see me if I wanted to pay or not. She refused to tell me what I had done to be “dismissed” and said the dentist felt I’d be a better fit for a different practice. So here I am hysterical crying, missing a tooth and feeling like some kind of criminal and receiving zero empathy from this office. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to and she told me no and there was nothing else she could tell me. When I pleaded that these veneers were expected to last a long time she stated “nothing last forever”. Maybe they had no legal obligation to fix their work that did not hold up but the total lack of sympathy for a young school teacher in tears at Work missing a tooth was heart breaking. I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so poorly by any establishment.Fortunately I found a dentist with humanity, who showed the empathy and understanding Galigan lacked. They stayed after hours to help me and fixed a mistake they did not make. I prefer a dentist with some warmth so I will be sure to write this dentist an amazing review after this one! The real kicker is it took 15 minutes to fix. Galigan felt I was not worth 15 minutes of their time. If that is how they treat former patients I don’t wish to be a current one.

On Jan 31 @3PM, have called the office on behalf of my wife, who I didnt discussed with her about me finding a dentist and setting-up an appointment for her, to set up a new patient appointment. I have informed Victoria, Office Manager, that my wife was having some teeth pain for several days. I asked her, as a new patient, how soon my wife can be seen by the Dr. Galligan? Victoria said, since she is in pain, shell squeeze her in next days sechedule, at 8:30AM. When my wife got home from work that evening, I have informed her about the appointment, she had told me that I need to cancel it, because he has very important meeting to attend. Next morning, at 8:05AM, spoke with Victoria that I have to reschedule the appointment. Victoria was very understanding and found an another day and time that was acceptiable to my wife. After she came from her appointment to the office, she had told me how awesome whole entire staff members were, to include Dr. Galligan. Dr. Galligan is very thorough in examination and explained very clearly to her. Most of he was not like many doctors, who try to push to get services that are not need/necessary. He explained to her the situations of her teeth and pointed out the areas she needs to get services to get rid of pain and prevent it to happen again.This led me to call the office on Feb 5 to set-up my own appointment for cleaning and examination. Since I wanted to get both services at the same day and time, Victoria informed me that it will be farther out days. Then she had scheduled it me for Apr 5. Victoria informed me that if there is any cancellation for earlier day than my appointment, shell call me. Within 3-4 hours later, she had called me to find out wheather I want to take a cacellation appointment that they received for next day at 10:50AM. I accpeted it and went there for the appointment today. My wife was right, they are awesome in all areas of services. We were sad that we lost our previous dentist, who was great, because he moved his office to too far away from our house. Now, we are happier to find a whole lot better dentistry than previous one.

From the clean show room and refreshments available and childrens high tech play area that can be viewed on a TV by the parents while sitting in the chair and getting your teeth worked on , you can keep a good eye on your children . and the creative free gift for children in a game form , free Wi-Fi and different sitting styles to comfort all situations while waiting so very impressed !!! Even the goody bag is over the top !!! I love there whitening for life program ! But most of all Dr. Galligan listens to you and what you would like to prioritize with your treatment plan , he cares about what is important to you !!! Smiles all around , everyone seemed to love there job and happy to see you and make your experience a great one ! I left feeling like I was part of a family that cared !

Went for the first time on Aug 2nd. Everything was wonderful from the first call I made and spoke with Allison to seeing her at the end. The reminder texts are great! Definitely prefer the texts and emails than stuff coming in snail mail.Erin did a great job with x-rays and my teeth cleaning. No pain or discomfort at all. She was great with recommendations and we had a good time. They have lots of programs available to help people with issues. They even have one for teeth whitening for $99 for life. I know right?! Unheard of. Going back for that soon!Nice going to the dentist and being able to relax. They also have guest WiFi and you can even charge your cell if youre running a little low. Always a pleasant experience!

Reason for Visit: 6 month cleaning plus had some discomfort in an area of my tooth.My 3 year old son Grayson was with me on this day. The area they have reserved for children was perfect. He walked in went straight to the train sets and was able to watch Thomas the Train on tv while in comfort free to roam and play behind glass doors. Victoria and the staff let me know I had nothing to worry about while getting my teeth cleaned.Brittany brought me back to the room for my cleaning. She took time to remind me of good habits to help maintain a good smile. Even if youve heard things in past it helps to have someone reinforce.Prior to Dr. Galligan coming in to see me I had some time to sit back and relax for a moment. A monitor is in the room so you are able to keep an eye on your child while getting work done. The office backs up to a nice wooded area and so I was also able to see two deer grazing. You dont get to see that often while at the dentist. Also Erin, who has cleaned my teeth many times, took time to say hello to me while I was there and to ask how I was doing.Dr. Galligan was also able to determine the slight pain I had been experiencing and that brought comfort to me to know it would be ok in a couple of days.I received a care package from the office as I have been a patient of Dr. Galligans for over 5 years.From my first visit to my most recent visit I have confidence in Dr. Galligan, his wife Victoria, and the staff. Continuous change where they strive to satisfy the needs of their clients. They do this as part of their mission. I would recommend Dr. Galligans office to anyone. Grayson is due for his first cleaning tomorrow. He is excited!Shannon White
