Used a Groupon coupon today and at age 57 years old, this was one of my best dentist visits ever!Haylee, the dental hygienist, was knowledgeable, skilled and a great personality who made you feel welcomed the whole time. The receptionist was very pleasant and Dr. Farrell was personable and proficient at what he does and they both graduated fro UNC which is a real plus! ; ).As if that were not enough, I left with a clean bill of health at a great price and in addition was gifted a dental hygiene kit and a really nice t shirt. I will definitely be back!

Dr. Farrell and his staff were professional. I was looking for a new DDS. The reviews I read helped me to schedule an appointment for my 6 months checkup. All went great. I spent 8 years out of my career with PG calling on Dentists, UNC Dental School and 4 RDH schools. I recommend you consider Dr Farrell when choosing your family Dentist.

First time here and Hayley was super nice and very professional. All of the staff were friendly and it wasn’t a long wait for anything. Highly recommend this place for dental care

Excellent service. My hygienist Hailey had really good energy and so did the girls at the front desk. The Doctor didnt try to recommend me anything I didnt need.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!! Do you want to go to a Dentist who cheats his staff out of money? I went to work there at this practice to cover for a staff member who was out and found out that the office had booked two temp staff for the same job. I left because they obviously didnt need my services for the day. With my contract there is a 4 hour minimum and DR FARRELL chose not to honor the contract and pay me. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!!

Went in without insurance and was told I need a crown. Unfortunately, I’m not a dentist and never had major dental work. So, I don’t know much about what is needed. After spending over $1800 at his practice out of pocket thinking that would fix the issue, he no longer want to look at my tooth and he refer me to a endodontist which now want $3400. What a waste!!! If he was honest from start, I would have went to the endodontist first. Now, the endodontist has to remove the crown and remake a whole new crown for root canal. Now, 1 tooth has cost me over $5500. This is highway robbery. I would not recommend to anyone. I would have other places check me out first. Lesson learned and I would not recommend to anyone especially with no insurance. These people will take your money

This was a far more positive experience than last years dentist visit! I would wholeheartedly recommend this office. Last year when we got a different offices Groupon cleaning that dentist tried to scrounge a few hundred dollars from us for teeny tiny cavities they found around our existing fillings. A second opinion confirmed the fillings were not necessary.This year we went to Farrell Family Dentistry and they were honest with us. No cavities.Apparently there are honest dentist and not so honest ones.This place is a good, honest deal. Fast and thorough. Thanks Farrell Family!

My mom had a tooth extraction here. She was a little bit nervous just like most people, but Dr.Farrell did a wonderful job at calming my mom down. At the most the whole procedure took about 15 minutes thats including a numbing part. Thank you very much!

Dr Farrell and his staff are exceptional. The office staff is efficient, welcoming, and professional. The office is immaculate, and the equipment is state of the art.The whole experience just felt good. I am very impressed!

Been a patient of Dr. Farrell for about 1.5 years. Hygienist excellent, front desk friendly. Have had a few procedures including a bridge - each procedure fully explained by the doctor with possible options. All done without incident. All appointments were on time. Prices very reasonable compared to my last Dentist. Highly recommend.

The scheduling was friendly and they got my 4 kids and I in at quick and convenient time for us! The office is comfortable and it’s so fun to read the blog posts binder in the waiting room. The two hygenists had the first two back and in their seats immediately. The whole staff was professional, wonderful with children, and very thorough. Dr. Farrell is a fantastic dentist, kind and down to earth. We had one further need and he explained options and the pricing is excellent. Even though it’s a hike for us, we will for sure be returning and referring! Thanks to the whole office! My husband and I also enjoyed the blog!

My 90 year old father recently moved to the area. he was only here a few weeks when he had a dental emergency. I called the office around 11 am to see if i could get him an appointment as soon as possible within the next few days. The receptionist asked me to hold on a minute and to my great surprise asked if I could bring him in at 2pm. When we arrived everyone in the office was very kind and reassuring, especially Dr. Farrell. He told my father he would take good care of him... and he did! Great dentist, great staff!

Doc Ferrell is the Best Dentist I have ever gone too, everything about the his work place is professional. All staff are friendly and helpful, Super clean. Jen is the Best dental hygienist she always cleans my teeth and never hurt after. Doc Ferrell is honest and very down to earth guy, he listens and makes sure you understand and dont have any questions. Wouldnt trade this place for any other. We have dentist on base but I rather make the drive and come see Doc Ferrell and his team.

Called to let them know I had chipped a molar. Additionally I expressed that my entire mouth needed attention because I was unable to go to the dentist for years due to a health condition.Went in and immediately the hygienist was rude and unwelcoming. No one even looked in my mouth before referring me to a totally different doctor for a root canal. Teeth were not cleaned. Doctor looked inconvenienced when I asked him to look in my mouth.Fast forward, two weeks later I’m finally able to get the referral appointment with another dentist but by this time I have a serious infection. Dr. Ferrel’s office took my appointment, knowing good and well they can’t do root canals.In conclusion, I waited a week for an appointment and left with hours off work, my teeth uncleaned and a scathing hole in the most bacteria ridden part of my body for weeks. Oh, and I was expected to call in to make an appointment with Farrell for cleaning, another doctor for a root canal and Farrell for a crown (4 total appointments).

Highly recommend this practice. Dr. Farrell facilitated a plan that let me get exactly what I wanted done (some cosmetic, some issues), with a timeline and payment arrangement that was client-centered. My husband and I had had terrible experiences with crowns w a former dentist.Dr. Farrell does a great job. His staff is equally supportive. And read his blogs; theyre hysterical!

This place is AMAZING! My wife has always been so scared to go into a dentist but everyone put her nerves at ease. Dr. Farrell was phenomenal and made sure she felt comfortable in his office. I am so glad we found them!!!

I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Actually, I should say I USED TO have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Farrell and his staff have chipped away at that anxiety over the years. The hygienists are all really great and very gentle when they do cleanings. Dr. Farrell is very, very good at what he does. I had an appointment to fix a cracked filling this morning. Because I get so nervous I put in earbuds and started listening to a podcast to distract myself. The show had barely started when Dr. Farrell said he was done. I’ve never said, “No way! You’re done?!” to a dentist before. :)The whole office is really nice. I never wait more than a minute or two in the lobby and I’ve never had an issue with a bill. I will continue to refer people I care about to Farrell Family Dentistry- including my husband and my mom.

After a bad experience with a Raleigh dental office that was part of a chain, I switched to Dr. Farrell. I am middle-aged and have never experienced such thorough cleaning from a hygienist. That thoroughness has continued with every visit for several years now. Dr. Farrell has also caught several dental problems early so that corrective work has been less involved than it could have been. They have always been explained thoroughly.People have commented on his uncaring personality. Hes a mild-mannered guy who just doesnt overtalk, and in no way have I ever found him rude or uncaring. Best dental practice Ive ever been to. I have never had trouble with the insurance, either.

Dr. Farrell is awesome. I love that it is his own practice so you always see him and get to know his friendly staff very well. You never have to wait in the lobby. Dr Farrell is very easy to talk to and does great work and really cares about what he does. Ive been going there for 7 years now for all of my checkup appointments and also had invisalign treatment with Dr. Farrell. The invisalign process mostly did the job of straightening my teeth - about 95% - but Dr. Farrell was not satisfied until it was 100% perfect. He extended the treatment at no extra cost to me until my teeth were perfect.

Today was my first visit to a new dentist office, Farrell Family Dentistry in Raleigh. I had to find a new dentist due to an insurance change, so in addition to the dread of having my 6 month cleaning, I also was seeing a new dentist! As I told them, Id rather have open heart surgery than go to the dentist. But yet, here I am writing a positive review and giving them 5 stars (would give more stars if available!). Everyone was exceptional from the front office.... to Lara... to Dr Farrell. They were professional, caring and prompt. It was painless........emotionally and physically! Kudos for having such a wonderful environment for a (formerly) unpopular routine......See you in 6 months!

Been going to FFD ever since I moved to Raleigh 2 years ago. Fantastic experience and great staff. I always get in on time, the staff are nice and the office is nicely updated - always spotless, and not an outdated tabloid in sight (I hate doc offices with magazines from 6 months ago).Beyond the front desk, the hygienists and Dr. Farrell make a visit to the dentist as painless as possible.Would recommend to anyone, and have already sent a few friends and family there. Theyve had a great experience as well. Bonus - they send you a friendly Starbucks card every time you send a referral their way!

I love Dr. Farrell. He may be the most honest dentist in all of Raleigh.I decided to try out ANOTHER dentist because she had a Groupon. It was a great deal. But before I left, she gave me a quote for necessary dental work, and I was pressured to make immediate appointments for the work. The fees quoted were OUTRAGEOUS! I said Id think about it.Later, I asked for a quote for similar work from Dr. Farrell, and it was far less.When I made an appointment to see Dr. Farrell for another issue, he told me NO, I did not need all that dental work! At some point, I may need some of it in the future, but all of that dental work was totally unnecessary. Dr. Farrell is HONEST and professional. His office staff is professional and friendly. His office is beautiful.I highly recommend him.

Dr. Farrell is fantastic, and his staff is always cheerful and kind. They also offer e-mail and text reminders for my appointment which makes remembering my appointment so much easier.

Bought a groupon and they were able to fit me in the next day due to a cancellation. The front office, the hygenist and Dr. Farrell were all friendly and explained the procedures and instruments they used. The doctor spent several minutes examining me (this doesnt always happen with dentists) and listened to any questions I had.

Everyone is really nice and did a great job with cleaning and fillings. Made me feel very welcome.

WORST DENTIST EVER. terrible customer service, so unfriendly and just not personable at all!! Went it with a (GROUPON)thats what I get for trying to save $ I guess. went for a cleaning/exam came out needing 4 minor fillings. well 2 months later I have those fillings refilled and still the worst pain ever, can not eat drink or anything on that side of mouth. so I call and he says oh go to the specialist you might needa root canal or something I am not sure!! huh how the hell are you not sure you are a dentist right? I am starting to even question that. Listen bottom line read the real reviews do not go here you are warned. spend the extra couple bucks and have it done right the first time by people who care about you and your health!!!

My father went there and had a tooth pulled. They over charged and he got an infection. Now he called them back and couldnt even work him in because they dont think his has one.

Dr. Farrell and his staff were very kind and even though I had not been to the dentist in over five years they didn’t scold me like I’m used to so I’ll be back in six months not five years.

Reasonable, friendly and professional.
