I have been coming here for years and Im comfortable here.

I have VERY sensitive teeth and have therefore always hated the dentist. I finally got to go to the dentist after having not been to one in more than 10 years (didnt have insurance for a long time). I first had to get a cleaning done, and the assistant was GREAT. She used a numbing gel on me and I didnt feel a thing, despite how much scraping she had to do from years of buildup. My teeth looked and felt great afterward. Ill never skip a cleaning again!I had several cavities and had to go back for 3 filings. I was terrified... but Dr Chun did a GREAT job! He was very gentle and caring, and made sure I was good and numbed up so I didnt feel a thing! It was a wonderful experience, and though I have to go back for 3 more fillings, this time Im not even scared. This is a great dental practice and I highly recommend them. :)

I have been to many dentists over the years, but hands down Dr. Chun and his staff are the best! I won’t ever think about going anywhere else for my care.

Please, for your and your teeth sake, do NOT get care from Dr. Chun. I got a tooth extracted 3 months ago. Afterwards, a lingering pain increased daily. It got to the point where I could not chew food nor close my mouth comfortably. I am usually good about pain, and I expected pain after a tooth extraction. But not like this. It got so bad to the point where I had to call Dr. Chuns emergency number. When he inspected it, he said there was a tooth shard remaining, and he proceeded to take it out WITHOUT anesthesia. I could not contain the screams that were coming out of my mouth because of the pain. He then told me to take some antibiotics. Fine. However, a couple of more weeks, the pain PERSISTED and one day, I felt a sharp sensation on my tongue when I grazed over that area. I went in for my scheduled regular cleaning appointment, and I complain to him about this sharp sensation. He tells me that it is my gums, which is ludicrous. I explain this to him TWO MORE TIMES, but he dismisses it every time. My gums are so swollen and I am in incredible pain, but to prove to him wrong, I dig around with my hands and pull out this small tooth shard (picture included if you click on my name). I show it to him the next time he comes in, and he is not even fazed. He takes an x-ray and then tells me that there are TWO BIGGER SHARDS that he needs to take out. Can you feel my aghast at this point? And throughout this process, there is not a single word of apology. NOT ONE. When I complained about my pain, he said, Didnt you have an infection before this? This question sets me off because I had zero infection before getting my tooth pulled out. He then has the absolute galls to say, Your gums are weak. Its probably the tooth in front of it thats causing you pain. This is absolutely ludicrous. After I took the two big shards out, I have had no pain. He deflected every one of my concerns and never showed guilt/regret. I can forgive the first time. But he showed a lack of respect to a point where it seems inhumane. Ive requested an x-ray, which I was guaranteed, but its been 3 days with no sign of it. PLEASE, listen. Ive gone through hell because of this place. Look somewhere else.
