Broke a molar; called for appointment; and was accommodated immediately. Dr. Rodriquez explained X-ray findings and repaired the tooth. Always find dentists, dental assistants and hygienists VERY welcoming, understanding, and punctual. This practice came recommended to me by former dentist in Southport, NC and Ive been very pleased.

This was so different from any place I have ever been to.Front desk assistant was very welcoming and thorough. She made sure to list out all of my costs and scheduled me so that I would not go over my insurance max. This was without me having to even ask! ❤️. Jen, the dental assistant was amazing! She was down to earth and made sure I was informed and comfortable. She made sure to explain everything. I also saw Dr. Melcher. He was also very down to earth. He knew what he was talking about and created a plan based on my needs...not just making $. I never felt put down or pressured into anything. I am so glad to have found them and to be on this journey back to healthy teeth. I am planning to move my sons there, as well

I ended up breaking my tooth on 9/17. The following day, Saturday, I spoke with Dr. Melcher on his day off. He was very caring, and set everything up for me to go in on Tuesday 9/21. When I arrived, he was personable, friendly and made me feel like I was the most important patient. He was effective, knowledgeable, and explained the whole process to me. He created a new crown, put it in without any issues, and got me back to health. His hygienist also did a wonderful job and kept me at ease through the whole process. I really cant recommend this practice enough! Professional, skillful, and welcoming is how I would describe this office. If you need work done on your teeth, this is the place to go.

I have been under Dr. Melcher’s care for 15 years and have always been very pleased with the quality of his work and careful approach to detail. He has performed extensive procedures including implants, fillings, crowns and even a root canal most recently. Needless to say, my smile would be in a sorry state without Dr. Melcher’s excellent care! His staff is wonderful as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I cant say enough to explain how totally awesome my experience was today with Dr. Emily Rodriguez was. I made the appointment for a consult and a second opinion on a broken bridge issue. She spent an hour and a half explaining and chatting, being sympathetic to my problem. Although Doc couldnt help me in the way that I needed, she was happy to refer me to someone she trusted to do my work. She offered me advice, gave me some invaluable insights as to why I might be having this problem and most of all she gave me hope and support. I have never been cared for by any medical practitioner in my life like I was today by Dr. Rodriguez. Ive been running around for months with a tooth missing on my bridge. Its in a very noticeable place. She asked if Id like her to fill in the space with temporary bonding material. I agreed. What a wonderful job she did with it! In no time at all, the gap was filled and for now, my smile is back!I left with a beautiful smile again and tears in my eyes I was sooo happy.I will recommend her to everyone and anyone needing dental work! Shes gained a lifetime loyal fan!

Dr. Rodriguez and team are AMAZING! I didn’t think I had it in me to say that about a dentist, but she took SUCH good care of me. She was compassionate, authentic, honest and straightforward, and and met me where I was at. (Freaked out about a broken molar and dentistry in general.) I try to live holistically and didn’t think I’d find a dentist that respected that, but Dr. Emily definitely did. The office is nice - clean, professional, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and responsive. Just a great experience overall. :)

Great experience. I needed a crown and love the Dr. Melcher uses new technology. My crown was made while I waited. The entire procedure from start to finish took one hour. Gone are the days of getting a temporary crown while waiting about a week for the permanent one to be made.The entire staff is very professional.

This office treats patients like family. I have been a patient at this office since the late 90’s and have always had the highest quality of care from the office staff to hygienists to dentists. Dr. Melcher and his office are fantastic. I wouldnt go to another dentist. He does a great job including solving problems from previous dental work to creating a solution that other dentists couldnt. Dr. Rodriguez is the best! When I was traveling for work every week Monday-Thursday, I was having major jaw pains. I was able to get a Friday (!) appointment, and she took the time to explain to me what the pain was and how to fix it. Ive been going to her ever since! She and her team are so pleasant - I dont mind going to the dentist! I will continue recommending her to people in the Raleigh-Durham area.

My wife and I have Cerebral Palsy which we have uncontrollable movement. These movements make dental work challenging. The team at Raleigh Implant and Family dentistry, especially Dr. Melcher, have been excellent. They are patience and put our comfort first. We would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Rodriguez & Dr. Melcher are wonderful have taken great care of me without fail. They genuinely care about the health of their patients and dont want you to have to come back and pay more for issues that are preventative. If I have learned anything over the past 10 years, it is that FLOSSING is crucial. Dr. Rodriguez even put a calendar update into my phone to remind me to floss everyday so I wont get cavities and have to break the bank. Each staff member from the hygienist to the front desk make the experience positive! Thank you to everyone for the consistent service and care!

Dr Melcher and Dr Rodriguez are as good as they come. They are both kind, patient, caring, and understanding with not only myself but the kids as well. Dr Melcher even stepped in to help a family member of mine who was not even a patient of his. The staff are so upbeat and helpful when we show up the kids cant wait to get to the treasure box at the end of the visit.

Absolutely love Dr. Melcher and our whole family has been seen by him for over 15 years. However his office manager leaves much to be desired.

I always enjoy seeing the team assembled here. Dr. Melcher is the dentist I have met and he is super friendly. Lisa, the hygienist, is also very personable. I know this is strange, probably, but I like that she uses suction often enough that I dont gag or choke on my own saliva when shes cleaning my teeth. I also like that she does it the old-fashioned way, w/ the scraper, versus this newfangled way of blasting the teeth with high-pressure water. I just feel like the scraping tool works best. I have had one minor procedure done at this office and it has held up like a charm. The waiting area is warm and inviting, with Keurig coffee available if you want it. Also, the office staff up front provide great customer service. When I had a slight issue with my new insurance after taking a new job, I simply called the office and they took care of it. Youll be very happy with Dr. Melcher, Dr. Rodriguez, and their team!

Dr. Melcher and his assistants are very caring. He does a great job talking you through procedures, letting you know what’s going on (if you are the type that likes to know what to expect). The front desk staff are professional and friendly. My hygienists are gentle and I look forward to coming in every 6 months.

The entire process for all four implants has been seamless.Dr. Melcher and his staff followed up with procedure and that added greatly to the comfort I experienced. Good dental work, horrible policies. Drove over 2 hours for an appointment and got sick as a dog on the way. I arrived early and when they were told that I was too sick and that I wanted to try another day, they charged me $150. Needless to say, I will never be giving these people my business again.

My favorite thing about Raleigh Implant and Family Dentistry, is they handle most all treatment in house, from cleanings, filling, crowns, root canals and implants. I like many others are terrified of Dentists, so much so that I just refused to go for several years and had a if I dont think about it, it doesnt exist approach After working up the courage, I was recommended this Dentist by my wife and I am so glad that I took the chance and went!Not only was I educated the state of my teeth but when I had to get my very first root canal it didnt even hurt! Dr. Rodriguez was brilliant, explained the entire process and before I knew it, my tooth was all better! She helped me not just overcome my fear of Dentists but has earned my trust and cant imagine ever having a different Dentist.I have had several Dentists in the past hence my fear, but I am scared no longer and it is all thanks to her!If you are hesitant to go to the Dentist, please please please! give these folks a try.
