Dr. Garrett and her staff are all wonderful! My hygienist Ashleigh always does a great job with cleanings, and does such a thorough job. She does a great job of making you feel comfortable and making the experience of going to the dentist feel less awkward. Dr. Garrett is wonderful and kind as well! Definitely a great place.

I’ve been going to Dr Garrett for close to 20 years when she first opened up her practice and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. I have referred her to all my family and friends and everyone loves her and all of the hygienists and office folks.

I have been going to Dr. Garrett for roughly fifteen years. She is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and I refuse to see anyone else. I’ve gone through a lot of surgeries and orthodontic care with my mouth and she has always been so compassionate and caring with everything I went through. If you are looking for a dentist you will not find one better than her, the front desk staff and all of her hygienists are amazing as well, I always feel “at home” when I go in, I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Garrett and her team for everything they have done for me over the years.

I only have good things to say about Dr.Garrett and her great staff! Dr.Garrett is very thorough yet gentle and takes her time with her patients to explain each procedure. I have had several fillings done by Dr.Garrett--she and her dental assistant, Annie, work very well together to make the procedure painless and comfortable as possible. I have been very happy with the dental work she has done and will continue to be a patient here, along with the rest of my family. Both dental hygienists are very thorough and go out of their way to make each patient feel welcomed and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are always helpful and smiling, which makes it easier to come to the dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Garrett for the past four years. Dr. Garrett is efficient, professional, and caring in the way she treats her patients. Her office is completely state of the art and allows the patient to be an active participant in his/her dental care. Her staff is totally awesome too. Dr. Garrett is awesome! I was referred to her by a friend for long overdue dental care. She was great! She never once made me feel guilty for the amount of time I had gone without seeking care. She gave me a treatment plan and helped me figure out the best way to get my work done. I have horrible anxiety at the dentist and she made me feel very comfortable! My teeth now feel and look wonderful. I have since started dental hygiene school and my teachers have even complemented me on my dental work! My hygienist Ashleigh was great too! I plan to continue to see Dr. Garrett even after I graduate and find job!

I have been going to Dr. Garrett for about 2 years now. Their staff including Dr. Garrett are very friendly and professional. The office itself is new and has all the latest technology. I havent had any billing or customer service issues there, and their location is very convenient for me. Would definitely recommend to friends, family, etc!

Dr Garrett and her staff are wonderful! You can tell when you walk through the door that you will be getting quality care. When Ive needed treatment, shes made sure I understood exactly what that entailed and which things should be done first. Dr. Garrett is also very conscious of a patients comfort during treatment, which Ive both experienced first hand and witnessed with her care of my 4 children whove had sealants, fillings and extractions. I trust the dental health of my family to Dr. Garrett...you should too!

I have only been going to Dr. Garrett for a short time but Ive found that I made the correct decision in making her my dentist. She has taken out some old fillings plus has put a crown on one of my teeth. I find her and her staff kind, professional and dedicated to giving the best care. I have been a patient of Dr. Garretts for over 5 years now and I couldnt be happier! Now, my husband as well as my 2 and 4 year old girls are also patients. Dr. Garrett and and her staff are great with children and my girls actually think that it is a treat to go to the dentist! The staff is professional and warm. My time is always respected and I am never left waiting for my appointment. My cleanings are thorough and gentle and when I do need a filling I feel that Dr. Garretts attention to detail is excellent. Before a filling, I am giving a print out of the estimated costs and insurance coverage, so there is never any question as to what my out of pocket expense will be. I feel fortunate to have found such a great dentist for our family and will continue to refer her to our family and friends!

I started going to Dr. Garrett 2+ years ago when I moved to the Raleigh area and I feel so lucky to have found such a trustworthy and caring dentist. By the time I started seeing Dr. Garrett I already had a mouth full of fillings and some were starting to crack. She has fixed all my problems and made my teeth look and feel fantastic!Dr. Garrett has fixed 2 fillings (a previous dentist had filled them and they cracked) and did a crown. She took the time to cleary explain to me the procedures and costs beforehand which was very reassuring. She is always caring and professional and makes sure I am comfortable with the procedures and results.Her staff is always friendly and professional and very gentle. They are always on time and efficient so I am never left sitting and waiting for my appointment. They have always been clear with billing and insurance and I have no complaints!There are a lot of choices for dentists in the Raleigh area and I would not go anywhere else. I even started sending my toddler, my husband, and friends to Dr. Garrett as I trust her completely and have been very happy with the care I receive at her practice.

I really like Dr. Garrett and her staff. Ashley is my hygienist and she does an awesome job. She is very thorough but gentle anywhere my teeth are sensitive (sensitivities which go away after a good cleaning). Dr. Garretts inspection of my teeth and gums seems very careful and her advice and recommendations have been thoughtful. Importantly, she hasnt recommended any pricey / unnecessary procedures (as other dentists have) and my mouth has remained healthy since I started my visits. The other women in the office are polite and friendly and have handled my insurance and bills without any issues. I would definitely recommend Dr. Garrett.

Dr. Garrett is phenomenal! We moved to Raleigh two years ago and I decided Dr. Garrett’s office was a good choice because it was close to home. We got so much more than just proximity with that decision! The office staff are friendly and always go the extra mile to make sure you have all the necessary information regarding your dental care. My first visit last spring included a routine cleaning with an awesome hygienist and Dr. Garrett gave me a treatment plan to best approach long-term dental needs. My plan has included replacing fillings and most recently, I had to have a root canal and crown. I have horrible anxiety when having to go to the dentist and everyone made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Garrett’s office will surely be the place we recommend to friends and family for any dental needs.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Garretts firm. I have tried several dentists over the years and have been continuously driving back to Smithfield for quality care. I finally found Dr. Garretts practice and could not be happier. They have a very knowledgeable and caring staff using state of the art technology and modern techniques saving the patient time with less pain.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Garretts for two years now. She and her staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Every hygienist Ive seen has been a professional with a gentle touch. I needed some major reconstruction work done when I started as a patient, and I appreciate that Dr. Garrett broke the work into phases to fit my budget. This office takes the fear out of going to the dentist.My only suggestion for improvement is to take insurance. Id love for Dr. Garrett to be an in-network provider for me.

Ten years ago, my husband had a horrible toothache during the week between Christmas and New Years. My dentist and most others were at the beach or on vacation somewhere. Dr. Garrett saw him, fixed him, and we have both been loyal patients ever since. We are so happy with Dr. Garrett and her entire team. We have recommended her to our friends and will continue to do so. Going to the dentist may not be a favorite outing, but this is an excellent practice, with friendly and professional staff.

I was referred to Dr. Garrett by a co-worker, and now Ive been going to her for almost a decade. Due to not having fluoride in my water when I was growing up, Im one of those people who had a lot of dental work early in life. Mostly from the late 80s and early 90s. I had problems with some of that early work, and over time, Dr. Garret has replaced just about everything. She uses modern imaging, and particular about the quality of her work. Ive actually had other specialist who will compliment the bridges she installed (one was a old problematic bridge she replaced). I cannot say enough about the quality of her work or her staff, and always recommend her to others.

Best dentist in the Raleigh area hands down. Her teeth whitening special is an awesome treat and Dr. Garrett and her staff are fantastic. I switched a few years back and she hasnt made me regret it. Big fan here!

I started going to Dr. Garrett about 6 or 7 years ago. Walking into her office was such a calming experience - I really felt like I was in friendly professional hands. Over the past few years, Ive developed quite a friendship with my hygienist. Needless to say, going to get my teeth cleaned is no longer feared, but anticipated.

The dental hygienist I have been seeing at Dr Garretts office is absolutely wonderful. Her name is Allison. The most gentle cleanings I have ever received. I am sad that Dr. Garretts recent actions will cause me to lose this great hygienist.Dr. Garrett is heavy handed. Her bedside manner is terrible. Her communication skills are sub-par. She filled 4 cavities that she identified as issues. I was not having any pain prior to the fillings. Aside from her word, I had no idea there was a problem. After my fillings I now have immense pain from cold, hot, or chewing. I have been back for adjustments as she put it. The pain has never subsided. My back molars are now ruined thanks to her handy work.Dr. Garretts front office staff did not communicate clearly to me what I was being billed for and what they thought my insurance would cover. Most insurances do not cover the fillings that are white (resin-composite). Dr. Garrett does not offer any other option. You must take the more expensive filling, regardless or your coverage. They did not tell me this when I reviewed and signed my treatment plan. There was no mention that my services may not be covered by insurance. The result additional out-of-pocket changes. Dr. Garrett was not willing to accept responsibility for her staffs lack of communication to her patients. She was willing to forfeit a patient for a measly $60. This is very poor client care in my humble opinion.You will be better served going elsewhere, for many reasons.Good luck in your search.

I would recommend Dr. Katherine Garrett to anyone! She is just a wonderful dentist. She is kind and gentle, her chairside manner is great, she takes the time to explain her treatment recommendations, and her dentistry is fantastic. Her staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. They are welcoming and helpful and they too are very gentle when it comes to treatment. My family has been seeing Dr. Garrett since she first opened and we could not be happier. It is a gift to find a denist that you feel truly cares and you know you can really trust!

I have high maintenance teeth and Dr. Garrett’s office keeps my spirits high even through difficult procedures. I could not be happier with finding this gold mine :)

Horrible experience. Avoid this dentist at all costs. Nice smiling staff covers up bad dental work and terrible communication problems. Dr Garrett is only after the money and will stop at nothing to make a buck. She also has the heaviest handed Novocaine needle Ive ever experienced. SO MUCH PAIN!
