I actually like going to the dentist now.

I had a great referral to this place from a Coworker. Nonetheless, when I called, the Receptionist Staff are not great front doors to the place (over the phone). They need to work on how to be more helpful and inviting over the phone. I moved on to other referrals, all because of.

Had a great first visit. Had teeth cleaned and visited with Dr. Thompson. She was so nice and explained the results of my checkup so clearly. My hygienist, Dara, was amazingly gentle and cleaned my teeth to shine like glass. The rest of the staff was so friendly! The young lady at the front desk made me feel like I was their most valuable patient. I highly recommend this place.

At each visit, the staff has been kind and courteous. I don’t love going to the dentist, but Dr. Thompson and the hygienists make me feel comfortable. Dr. Thompson always leaves time for questions and offers suggestions and ways to take care of my dental health in the most cost-effective way.

I would highly recommend Dr. Williamson. I actually went to his predecessor Dr. Thompson for 30 years. Everyone is very professional.

Awesome office! Was reluctant to go for a visit but they really made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Williamson was casually cool but at the same time really knows his stuff. The office and adorable front desk really relaxed the experience and actually make me look forward to the next 👍

This was the third dentist that Id been to in the Raleigh area, and I finally found a great one to stick with! They were very nice and professional, and hardly had time to sit down with both visits (cleaning & fillings) before I was called back. Id never had good experiences with other dentists offices, but I was very impressed with this office. I will absolutely be recommending to friends!

Just had my new client exam with the practice and already have had a better experience then Ive had with any other dentist in the area. The staff is attentive and considerate, understanding that you might just be their for a simple cleaning. I also was quoted way under anyone elses mark when it comes to having some fillings taken care of. Overall great experience!

I have been to many dentists in the Raleigh area since moving to NC. I am very particular! Dr. Thompson is wonderful. She has been efficient and knowledgeable in all work done to me. She also doesnt pad the bill by recommending unnecessary work. Staff is courteous and friendly. I have always been seen in a timely fashion (never had to wait at the time of my appointment) I would highly recommend Dr. Thompson and this office.

Started bringing my teeth to this office after moving to Raleigh and couldnt be happier. The receptionists are friendly, the hygienists are great, and Dr. Williamson certainly knows his stuff. Now that my insurance covers 4 cleanings per year Im happy to say that Ill be visiting more often!

I moved to Raleigh 1 year ago. I have never had any real issues with my teeth, but still got jumpy at the idea of going to the dentist. A co-worker suggested I try Raleigh Comprehensive dentistry. The entire staff and dentist were very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable about my needs and insurance. The entire process was smooth! I did need to have a crown and my insurance was not willing to pay. But the office staff fought my insurance, even contacting NCDOI, and my insurance finally paid. That was a relief b/c it would have been hard to come up with the money out of pocket. This is a great office! From the front to the back, everyone is amazing!! :)

Recently, I was reflecting on my past dental experiences over my many years on this earth and how far I have come in retrospect to overcoming my fears after experiencing a childhood tragic experience in the hands of one of the largest dental corporations in California. I have always had top of the line medical and dental insurance; however, due to several challenging dental experiences I allowed my preventive care to lapse and was in desperate need of an exceptional dentist to complete extensive dental work that included but not limited to extractions, crowns, bridges and cosmetics.In 2006, when my company relocated me from the San Francisco Bay Area to North Carolina, I made the decision to search out a dental establishment that I would feel comfortable with to complete my extensive dental work. After completing a thorough review of the Charlotte and Raleigh metropolitan areas and I decided that Sedation Dentistry, Dr. Williamson III DDS was the office that would be best suited for me. My initial contact with his scheduling staff was well received; they were professional, friendly and understanding. This was very important to me due to my past experiences. Dr. Williamson III was fully engaged in my service, provided commitment to service, was very knowledgeable and his staff allowed the intake process to be simple & effective.Since our initial contact in 2006, I have been a patient and dedicated patient/customer of Dr. Williamson III for over 8 years. I have recommended Dr. Williamson III to several potential patients and will continue to recommend him and recognize him for his expertise, experience and care.

RCCD has been my dentists office for a year now. The entire staff have been extremely pleasant every time Ive gone. Just recently Dr. Godwin did a filling for me, I was in and out in under an hour, it looks great and hasnt bothered me one bit. Definitely check them out if youre looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Williamson is a phenomenal Dentist! Not only does he take great care of my teeth, I never feel like he is trying to sell me a service that I dont need. Dr. Williamson and his entire staff are the best in Raleigh and I am grateful that I found his practice when I moved here in 2008.

Great staff, some having moved over from Dr. Donns practice in west Raleigh. Excellent work! Even respectful of my preferences for no Novocain! Highly recommended!

Went to this dentist for a few years. I had multiple cavities filled by them. Of the cavities I had done two of them broke out and one has caused permanent sensitivity. Permanent sensitivity is rare but apparently *can* happen -- fillings falling/breaking out should not happen at all.I just recently switched to a new dentist who will be re-doing two of these fillings today. The new dentist was professional and refrained from speaking poorly of this office but made many comments that indicated they were less than impressed with the work. They agreed fillings should not break/fall out. They also mentioned that sensitivity is much more common if a filling is not placed properly for a number of reasons.Lastly - my new hygienist had to spend a lot of extra time on my first visit. After she was done cleaning she apologized and let me know that there was still cement in between my lower teeth from an old retainer that had fallen out. She asked how long ago it fell out - it had been years. Apparently RC&CD never got the cement off these teeth and there was plaque build up around the cement. :(I do not see the D.D.S listed on the website that did my fillings, but they werent done by Dr. Williamson, so maybe he is better? If you consider going to this office I would recommend you ask for him to see you personally.

Nervous patient who had excellent cleaning after years of neglect. I mainly went to this dentist because of ad for Sedation Dentistry. I also needed dental procedure on bottom teeth. I was told they dont do that here. I was upset. Id gone elsewhere if I had known ad incorrect!!

I have been going to Dr Williamson for a few years , since Ive been living in Raleigh and highly recommend him ! Although I live in WF now and its kind of a hike , I still go because the drive is worth it . His staff and him have always taken great care of my complex dental needs.

I initially chose this dentist because a google map revealed his practice was across the street from my house. 6 years later, I now drive from Asheville to get my dentistry done by Dr. Williamson and his team of amazing hygienists, assistants, and receptionists. Dr. Williamson is very professional, but also friendly, and I appreciate that he has taken the time to get to know me over the years. I love that his philosophy is to fix issues as they need fixing rather than filling every problem tooth immediately. His skill is unmatched when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. He had to perform a root canal and put a crown on one of my front teeth due to a kayaking incident, and a dentist here in Asheville didnt believe me that it was not my real tooth, so that is saying something. You wont get better service or craftsmanship than at this dentist. I highly recommend this practice.

I like the place and the people there a lot. One thing I dont understand is why the office is closed on Fridays - feels odd to me.

Both I and my children are patients here and we receive excellent dental services in a friendly environment. Highly recommended.

My wife and i started using Dr. Williamson several years ago and i will admit that i am not fond of dentists in general however, we both found dr williamson to be very knowledgeable,very patient oriented and certainly a person who has eliminated my fears of dentists. we both highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking dental needs and in particular anyone who shares my uneasiness with dental work.I would also say that dr williamsons staff is very competent ,courteous and always put me at ease. - Dino and Linda

I have had anxiety going to the dentist all my life untill I visited Dr. Williamosn in April 2009. I required nitrous oxide for all dental work. Presantly I dont need nitrous oxide or anti anxiety medication. He is reassuring and gentle. His office staff is compitent and friendly. I reccomend Dr. Williamson to all my friends and family! And you too if your reading this!
