Excellent dental office. I usually use gas even for cleaning but they’re so gentle at St Mary’s Family Dental I don’t need it! Everyone is friendly, they know my name when I arrive. Dr Shafik is amazing. With my insurance I hardly have a bill. If you’re looking for gentle compassionate quality dental care this is the place for you!

Dentist does not perform all the work herself. Left dentin exposed and did not level the filling properly. Has many assistants with low experience setting fillings. Had to go somewhere else to have it fixed properly. I have a history of needing the booster for numbing but doubted when I said I felt it.

I am in love with the service I received here! I was terrified first that I would need a root canal done on one of my teeth but Dr. Shafik cleaned it up and filled it in and its perfect! No need to pay for all of that! I decided instead to proceed with the invisalign at her office and Im in love with how the staff worked so diligently on my teeth and continue to do so while myInvisalign treatment is pending! I recommended all my family to her too! They are great here!

Solid Gold.I am a nervous dental patient. Dr Shafik is unusually calm, pragmatic, an artist in her work. My three crowns look like artistry. I think she is a goddess.I never dreamed I would be out of pain, let alone be happier with my crowns than my own teeth.(they use 3-D software in their restoration process I think...)Her staff is equally professional, proficient and friendly.I have found my dentist.

I had some work done and Dr. Shafik and her lovely staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results. They are all also kind and lovely people, and even though I dont have any nerves or fear of the dentist, if you do, this is the place to go! They take care to make sure you are comfortable and at ease with everything being done and if youre lucky, Dr. Shafiks adorable little puppy will be at the front desk to say hello to you!

Nobody likes going to the dentist, but this team makes the experience as pleasant as can be. My cleaning was through and painless, the hygienist was lovely, and Dr. Shafik made me feel very comfortable. I appreciated that she was complimentary of my teeth. I had two fillings done and they were able to get me in the same week. I was very apprehensive because they were my first fillings, but Dr. Shafik and her hygienists made me feel totally at ease, it was painless and quick.The one thing I think could improve is that I had a hard time hearing the desk attendant that checked me out, probably because of a combination of masks and plexiglass. It might be helpful to speak a bit more loudly for the time being.Overall I highly recommend this dentist (and have recommended them to two friends already!)

This was my first time at St Mary’s Dentist but Dr. Shafik is amazing and so are her assistants. She is very personable and takes the time to educate you on exactly what is going on in your mouth. If you are looking for a more personal experience then I highly recommend you try her practice:)....they also accept dental savings plans if you do not have insurance 😉

My daughter was terribly afraid of going to the dentist. Dr Shefik spends extra time making her feel comfortable. I have to say my kids love her . My daughter even started taking care of her teeth just so the Dr can compliment her on her teeth. I cant say how much she has helped our family. We always feel taken care of at her office. Our whole family goes to her office now. We are blessed to have found this office. I cant thank them enough for the care they give us.

Ive been to several dental practices in the triangle, and this one is the best, hands down. My previous dentist came up with a treatment plan, but I had some reservations about their plan. I decided to try St. Marys Family Dentistry at the recommendation from a friend. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but I actually had a pleasurable experience here. Dr. Shafik and her team made me feel so at ease and came up with a plan that is saving me a couple thousand dollars.

Linda and the entire staff are such delightful people. They accept a very wide range of dental insurance policies and serve a very diverse clientele. I see this practice as being fully dedicated to serving the community. I had a rough spot between two teeth due to a shoddy filling from another dentist, and Linda, without hesitating, fixed it for me on the spot free of charge. I recommend this dental practice to all of my friends. I can not speak highly enough of St. Marys Family Dentistry.

This place is WONDERFUL! Dr. Shafik and her staff are very kind, considerate and professional! I kid you not when I say going here is similar to a spa experience. Its incredibly relaxing and they put you at ease! I had filling done today and the entire time I was in the chair I couldnt even tell they were working on my tooth, let alone, I had no idea they gave me the shot to numb that particular area of my mouth! Dr. Linda Shafik is the best doctor I have seen. She is an immaculate and perfect doctor who is very professional. I am so pleased that I found her based upon my friends recommendation. She gives enough time to a patient and does a meticulous work in dental work. For example: I got filling done by a previous doctor who did the work in 5 minutes and when that did not work after few months, she took more than 45 minutes to do the same work meticulously and she did a perfect root canal on one of my tooth. She is amazing and highly courteous. Her staff is also trained to be courteous but I care most for the quality of the doctor and not so much for the staff.

St. Marys is one of the most amazing dentist office I have ever been too. The dentist and the staff are so friendly and kind. They know you by name. They treat you like family. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

This is a wonderful dental office and I cant thank the staff enough for the experiences I have had with them. I found St. Marys when I first moved to Raleigh and needed a new dentist. They were able to get me in very quickly and I was impressed with how warm and welcoming the staff was. The office is beautiful and calming, they play soothing music and everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel relaxed.I should note that I am a very nervous dental patient. Everyone at St. Marys Family dentistry is absolutely wonderful! Every single person Ive worked with there has been friendly, professional and great at their jobs. Dr. Shafik is hands down the best dentist Ive had, she works incredibly hard and actually cares about her patients. When I lost a bridge Dr. Shafik outlined all my options and talked me through them, she even got me price estimates on all the options I was considering. When I decided on a dental implant she referred me to a great oral surgeon and even helped me schedule my appointment. I’ve been going to see Dr. Shafik for years and she has always provided the most professional, and clean work of any dentist i’ve visited. I’ve unfortunately had everything done from a root canal, to fillings and crowns; and as much as I hated having to get it done, I have no doubt in my mind that no one could have possibly taken care of me the way Dr. Shafik did. Not to mention, from the very moment you walk in, you feel comforted by the assistants and office staff. Everyone there does a fantastic job of keeping you as happy as possible during a visit. Hands-down the best dentist around!

St. Marys Family dentistry is by far the best dentist experience I have ever had!!! The administration staff are friendly and competent when helping you figure out insurance and pricing. Gabby is always friendly over the phone and makes sure to call to confirm appointments. The office manager Keith is so helpful when dealing with complicated insurance nuances that usually make you want to pull your hair out. Dr. Shafik and her staff are nothing short of incredible. They all truly care about you and your smile and are very helpful with advice on treatment plans. I am so grateful for their help and will always recommend them to friends and family!

St Marys Family Dentistry is great. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, booking a visit is the easiest thing in the world, and with the great service you really feel at home here. The dentist chairs are so comfortable I want to come every day for a nap.The central location is one of the best parts for me since I live in North Raleigh and work in RTP, no matter where I would be coming from I am never more than 10 or 15 min away.Highly recommended!

To say I have a fear of the dentist is an understatement. It kept me away for about 5 years, but I knew I needed to go sooner rather than later. After multiple searches online, I landed on St Mary’s. My first appointment for a cleaning turned into a need to come back for a “deep cleaning” and 4 cavities, which I was horrified. I came back a week later and had a deep cleaning that I couldn’t even feel! The two hygienist were incredible and answered my multiple questions. I was so nervous and it turned out to be nothing but a great and gentle experience. Then came time for the fillings... I came back 3 days later with extreme anxiety, but Dr. Shafik was incredible, and so kind and nurturing towards my fears. I asked for extra numbing, and I couldn’t feel a thing for all 3 feelings. I almost fell asleep!I’m writing this review for the terrified patients out there who probably had one bad dental experience in their life and continue to avoid the dentist. Take my advice, come see Dr. Shafik for an amazing and painless experience. I’ll never miss an appointment again.Added bonus, every person on staff is extremely kind and helpful. I wish I could give 30 stars!

I used to hate going to the dentist but after finding Dr. Shafik I actually look forward to my appointments!! She always makes me feel so calm and checks with me constantly as shes working to make sure Im completely comfortable. Ive also had some whitening and cosmetic work done and she is truly an artist and takes her time to make sure I am 110% happy. I love love love this practice, the staff, and the amazing Dr. Shafik and I will never go anywhere else!! And by the way, I live 3 hours away so that should really be saying something :)

We travel from Danville, Va because of this wonderful FAMILY Dentistry. We have never experienced any medical facility like Dr. Shafiks. The staff and everyone there makes us feel as family. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The entire facility is very clean. The staff in very knowledgeable with all questions and concern. (Insurance, Procedures etc.) We had major issues with my wifes teeth (many botched procedures from a former dentist) and Dr. Shafik has worked wonders. We are greatly pleased with her work and this whole experience. The travel distance and the 1 hr 20 min. drive is well worth it. All my life I have been living with this fear of the dentist! I mean terrible, just in the chair for a cleaning and Im crying! However about 8 months ago I stumbled across St. Marys on the internet because I was trying to get out of a terrifying situation with another office. During my first appointment there everyone in was SUPER super nice. Dr. Shafik and her assistant Amber took so much care of me! For the first time I was able to relax to a point where they could get the job done without too much fighting! Last week I completed my last appointment with them and I could not get over at how relaxed I was! What I loved most was that they did not talk over me about my dental plan. They talked to me, they made sure I understood. They made sure I was comfortable. Afraid or not, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Everything is new in the office and they have flat screen tvs and will play music for you while they are doing their cleaning/fillings etc. I came around the time when they first opened and it was a tad disorganized but I just went the other day and everything looked great and they got their process figured out. Dr. Shafik has been a pleasure to deal with and she really is interested in giving you a healthier smile. Ive never had to wait when arriving for my appointments. They have office hours on Saturdays so thats a huge bonus.

The dentist office has always been an uncomfortable environment for me, but the customer service, hospitality and staff have been amazing at St. Marys dentistry. They treat you with top quality care and make it a very easy experience. They also are open on saturdays which is very rare to find a dentist that can accommodate work hours. There are two things in life I have feared. Those are flying in an airplane and going to the dentist. Coincidentally, I first met Dr. Shafik on a flight from Raleigh to Los Angeles. After a bit of small talk, she mentioned to me that she was a dentist, talked about her experiences, and handed me a business card. Unbeknownst to me, that moment would forever change my fear of going to the dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Shafik for approximately two and a half years now. She and her staff are like family. While I used to dread visiting the dentist since childhood, I now see it as a spa experience that I actually enjoy. Most people think I am crazy when I say that. I think those people just haven’t found the right dentist. I recommend Dr. Shafik to everyone I know, and I can honestly say that if I ever moved away, I would fly back and continue to be her patient.

I just moved to the triangle and had yet to search for a new dentist and of course my tooth would crack when Im in between dentists. my friend recommended dr. shafik and I cant tell you how glad I am that she did. Im very afraid of the dentist and usually get very ill prior to and during the appointment. she put me at ease and let me know that she would take good care of me. her staff was very friendly and kept me laughing which helped ease the tension too. I got the first part of my crown done today and I must say I dont think Ive ever been that relaxed at the dentist. I cant recommend them enough!

Dr. Shafik is not only a great dentist but a wonderful, kind person as well. A) her office is very prompt and you rarely wait for your appointment B) she never makes you feel rushed and goes out of her way to make you comfortable. I feel like she cares about me not only as a patient but a person as well C) her office is very clean D) she is open on Saturdays so I dont have to take time off work. I get my fillings, exams and zoom treatment done by her and I get compliments on my teeth regularly. She also went above and beyond for me when I cracked my front tooth on a glass bottle of Peligrino water on a Friday night. She made time for me first thing Saturday morning. My tooth was fixed less than 12 hours after the incident and I could enjoy the rest of my weekend without worrying. If you want to feel like a valued patient rather than just a number, Dr. Shafik is right for you.
