The staff always make me feel comfortable. The dentist explains clearly what is the best treatment plan. I came with my two year old and the staff was so accommodating.

I really hate visiting the capital Blvd location. I had to bring my seven year old along with my newborn. The wait room was cramped and uncomfortable. Especially with COVID I would have preferred to be further spaced apart for safety. The exam room was worse. There was no room to even fit my stroller inside so I had to wait in the doorway with one child, while trying to glance in the room to check on my other child in the exam chair. The doctor was rude and squeezed herself in between the stroller and doorway to enter into the room without even saying excuse me or introducing herself. The doctor was terrible at communicating and explaining what was needed for the condition of my sons teeth. Without any explanation, She just started looking at my sons teeth and told me he needed a referral to another location with a checklist of work to be done. When I told her I didn’t understand she looked at me like I was from another planet. Then her assistant generously interrupted to explain the details to me further which I appreciated. This is annoying because every previous appointment has ended with a referral that is needed to complete the work that he needs on his teeth. Basically it’s a waste of time taking off work and pulling your child from school just to be seen for a basic exam and teeth cleaning if they need any work beyond this.

I loved the educational part of my check up/clean up. A lot of hygienist just clean your teeth & tell you to floss but doesn’t explain exactly why to floss and make recommendations. Years of going to the dentist this place is definitely my favorite!

This is the best office Ive ever been to. Finding the building is easy, the parking is convenient, and the establishment is very clean, but the best part is how awesome everyone is. Going to the dentist can be nerve wracking, but the staff here is incredibly thoughtful. Every single person has contributed to my positive experience. Its cheesy, but they are always smiling and make me feel good about being there. The reception staff is fabulous - SO accommodating and fast and friendly. Every hygienist and dentist who has seen me here has been wonderful. They take such care to make me feel at ease during an experience that easily stresses out most people. They have clearly shown me every time that they care about my happiness with my smile; they explain concisely and clearly what needs to be done, they answer any of my questions with confidence, and they make sure Im comfortable. Ive never been anywhere better and I dont plan on going anywhere else.

Having not been to the dentist for several years, bad past experience, unemployment, I was a little nervous, but no need. The entire staff from reception to dentist were very friendly and helpful. I was given a copy and thorough explanation of the treatment needed. Ive had several visits with them and each time received the same friendly, caring service.

Today was our first time at Vaya Dental, we were extremely happy with our visit. Staff was friendly and COVID safe. Wait time was less than 5 minutes!!They were patient with my 12 year old who was questioning everything they were doing. The doctor answered all his questions and mine. We will definitely be back!

The dentist is rude and rough...The other staff was good..When I first enter the practice I was greeted, the young lady that did my cleaning did a great job, and the lady that did my X-ray along with the lady that assisted her did well, but my experience with the dentist was not good..she was rough and rude..she did not consider me as part of the plan and she didnt listen to me or my concerns. I am not interested in returning at all...

Horrible customer service. The front receptionist was very rude and unfriendly. I was left waiting outside because of their “lunch break “ and was never called in. When I advised the front receptionist that I was left waiting, she did not seem to care and was unapologetic. Very sad first impression and experience.

Absolutely amazing dental care!! I have really horrible dental anxiety and a serious fear of needles and i had to get some cavities filled, please forgive me but I don’t remember the Indian lady’s name but she was very gentle and sweet and made me feel very calm and relaxed! She explained everything she was doing to me and made sure I was not in any pain! My experience here was tremendous and I will continue my dental care here for sure. They also took serious precautions when it came to Covid-19 and made sure no germs would be spread!

The staff is very friendly. They take a lot of precautions to make everything a safe environment, and I was very impressed. I got my teeth cleaned, and I feel like they did a much more thorough job with it than my last dentist. Im a happy patient.

Was seen in less than 30 minutes after calling to get in after a filling cracked in half and came out. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Dr, and assistant made me very comfortable during procedure. Front end receptionists are spot on with insurance, check in and check out.

Best dental experiences ever, my Apologies for not remembering the Indian Women Dentist’s name (however) she was PAINLESS, I stopped her and let her know before a cavity drill and fill that I was still sensitive and she took great care of me never gave my an attitude and was friendly, professional and took her time with me never made me felt rushed. Had a little wait when getting there but when my time was up she was calm and patient.

When I first became a patient of this dentistry they had a different name. Yet the people have stayed the same. Friendly, Social, and Professional! They restored my smile and confidence. Always transparent with billing. Sometimes I would even have a credit on my account to use for a future service. They are without a doubt a little jewel in Mini-City.

My son was so afraid to go to the Dentist today. After we arrived, everyone from the front desk to the Dentist Hygienist to the Doctor made him feel at ease. After all was done he made the statement, mama they made my visit so good. “ They helped me over come my anxiety.” He thanked them also.I am so thankful we went to Vaya Dental. Let me say that my fear of going to the dentist was so very real its stifling and because of that I had put off going for quite some time. I had no choice but to go and I can safely say that I am so very happy that I chose Carolina Family Dentistry. They literally put family in their name for a good reason.The very moment you enter through their doors, youre welcomed and treated as family. From the front receptionists, the hygienists to the doctors exhibited such a high level of professionalism! They are so friendly and very accommodating even for those of us who are really afraid. They literally take the time to quiet all your fears and to make your visit as pleasant and pain free as possible explaining each procedure.I had 2 fillings done at once and I almost fell asleep while doing so....they were that good. Totally pain free!!So, if youre considering giving them a try, just stop thinking about it and just do it!!! You wont regret it! My husband and I are very happy we did!

I and my grandmother have been coming to Vaya Dental for quite a while, and all I can say is that Vaya Dental is the best Dental Clinic we have ever been too. I went for my tooth fillings and everything was done with ease. The staff is really nice and helpful and made mine and my grandmothers experience a pleasant one. The dental procedure rooms are also really fun. They have a TV inside every room and the best part of having that is you can watch Netflix. The administration was also really pleasant. I would recommend this clinic with a rating of 10/10. This is the place if you want to get great teeth. Thank you for a great experience!!!

I had a great experience with Dr Pooja and the rest of the staff. I visited three times recently (one exam/cleaning, two sessions for fillings) and had several of the assistants (latest one was Luis) and they’ve always been very welcoming and knowledgeable. The front desk staff is also always friendly and professional.I also appreciate that they were efficient and valued my time. I had visited Apex Dental previously when I first moved to the area and it took 3.5hrs over the course of two visits for just the cleaning and examination, and was never told the expected schedule. They said I needed the fillings that Vaya ended up doing, but I never returned for them.Vaya gets you in and out, but you don’t feel rushed. They scheduled all three of my appointments within two weeks, and send you appointment reminders. They are also open to walk ins that fit your schedule if you need any adjustments.All in all great experience. Will be back.

The new ownership here is wonderful. All of the hygienists are gentle, and the dentist is exceptional. I had to get two fillings in one day, and they must have worked some kind of magic because they managed to numb only the nerves connected to the teeth that needed work, so I was able to eat just hours after the procedure. It only took 45 minutes for TWO FILLINGS, and the dentist took so much care to make sure my bite was exactly right when I left. Not only was she fast AND thorough, but it was entirely painless. Seriously, the new ownership is doing a great job, and Id highly recommend them!

Vaya Dental has definitely been an answer to my prayers. After many many years of going with dental care they swooped in to the rescue. I can not say enough how Polite, Courteous and Friendly the Staff is. I can usually say that and find at least one employee that rubs me the wrong way, but not here! Vaya dental should be a model company for the dental industry. After a mishap with scheduling they still managed to get me in. Ruth at the front desk is amazing. Not only patient, but caring and understanding! I did not show my best side at one time and Ruth still acted in a Professional, Loving, Forgiving Manner! I love this Dental Practice! I was in pain, anticipating pain and basically just scared because of the fact I deal with pain daily. I showed up a new patient told them of what was going on and they took me the same day. Can you believe that!!!The same day. And treated me as if I was a long standing patient of theirs. The office staff and not just one staff member but all the employees of Carolina Dental was so professional so nice. The dentist that took care of me each time was professional and rolled up her sleeves and provided me with good sound advice for my dental care. I experience the next following day another dentist and he was just as awesome. I have been truly blessed. I am so impressed and will definitely give this office recommendations to all my family and friends. I was more than pleased with the entire office. Again, my experience was so amazing, so mind blowing, so awesome I am still reeling from the excitement of my awesome adventure with what could have been a most horrible experience. Tuesday, September 17, 2019Probably around 3PMParked at the very end of the food lion parking lot, right in front of this AMAZING dental office. I finished loading my groceries in my car and I sat down to cool down. As I see this charming old man walking out of the office, has a cane on his hand an is walking towards his car. He gets to his car and by what I could tell is that he was struggling to open his car door, he was probably there for a minute max two minutes trying to open his door. I then see this young gentleman walk out of the office, he’s wearing scrubs, he definitely works there. I see him walk over to the old man and they start talking, he gets his keys, open his door and get inside to turn the car on for him. As he’s helping I see another gentlemen walk outside wearing scrubs as well, he works there too. And he walks over to were they both were standing. They helped him get into his vehicle, closed his door and watched him drive away. They didn’t go inside until they saw him leave the mini city area into traffic. I was amazed at this very caring and sweet gesture. Normally when people walk out of the office, they are not “their priority” meaning who cares what happens when they step out of their office. But after seeing this, I felt like I needed to share this with everyone. I went online and searched for them, after reading a couple reviews I could tell that this dental office is DIFFERENT than others, meaning putting their customers first. And this is just by me reading reviews left by other customers. I don’t know who these two amazing gentlemen were but, I am glad there’s still good people like them in this world. I hope that this gets to the top of the chain, to the main boss. So they can see the type of amazing employees they have. I was truly touched by this gesture. CONGRATULATIONS DENTAL OFFICE! Keep doing you, with that kindness of heart! WISH I COULD LEAVE MORE THAN 5 STARS!!

Just got 5 cavities filled and my experience was the best it could be the first appointment was very little pain the second one was completely painless I loved it I would probably get cavities again just to go back to vaya dental 😂

Pleasant experience! Staff are phenomenal!!

We went for our first time to Vaya Dental and were very disappointed. We had taken time off work and were not told that we had to make separate visits for x-rays, cleaning, and any fillings. They were able to squeeze one of us in for a deep cleaning as long as no numbing cream was applied. After one very painful cleaning, we still had to come back two more times just to get everything done. The dental assistants were so nice, but the dentist was a little cold. We all around had a bad experience at this Vaya Dental.

I went in today for my routine cleaning and fillings on tooth #3 and tooth #15. Their safety protocols and changes in the office due to the COVID-19 were amazing. I was told to call or text before coming into the building for my visit and someone would then greet me at the door once they are ready for me. Before I even got fully into the door my temperature was taken and a few questions were asked (have you had a fever, have you traveled in the past 14 days, etc) I was also told before entering my operatory that it had been disinfected and cleaned. Unfortunately I did not get her name of the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth but she was absolutely amazing. I was able to pick what I wanted to watch on Netflix which I absolutely loved. She was so sweet and spoke about her son and experience as a dental hygienist (since I am interested in dentistry). She also showed me how to properly floss in an area that seemed to have more build up than any other area in my mouth. After my cleaning the dental assistant, Pablo, came and got me to do do a pan x-ray. He was SUPER nice. Very friendly and welcoming. When I told him I was going to be starting dental school in August, he was SO excited for me and it was my very first time meeting him. Dr. Pooja then came in and spoke with me about what we would be doing today. She assured me that she was very light handed with the numbing process and that she was. I know most people are super nervous about their dental visits but I felt comfortable throughout my entire process and everyone who assisted me to day were so quick and professional. I would recommend this office to anyone in the area. They did an amazing job!

It was clear that she took pride in her work and she was very thorough in her cleaning. This place is amazing! I saw my local dentist for a tooth ache here in wilson county and wasnt getting really good answers. I decided to see Carolina family dentist and was seen immediately. Only waited 5 minutes and was seen. The dentist to I know a x ray and a ice test on my tooth and said I had a infection on my tooth and needed to have a root canal. He referred me to ECU and said because the infection was so bad, a specialist had to do it. I have a appointment tomorrow with ECU for a root canal consultation. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back.

We Love this place!! We love the vibe, the receptionist Ruth always has a smile and makes you feel invited. My wife had 6 teeth pulled on the first visit and then another 4 today by Pooja Mahweshary and her assistant Pablo. Pooja is very detail oriented, she makes it all look so easy, she consistently asked if my wife was feeling any pain, and when my wife said yes Pooja immediately stopped and investigated. Pooja is amazing! We are transferring our kids to her because our other dentist is not so friendly, nor as inviting! Thanks for making my wife feel at home!
