Front desk representative Ericka was professional, patience and friendly to answer my inquiries as a new patient. Then practicioner MD Gretchen Daniels leave me impress with her great personality. She was knowleagable, respectful, friendly and sensitive to my needs as a first time patient. I strongly recommend this medical clinic.

Drs are great, but you have No chance whatsoever of ever seeing them same day, when there’s actually something wrong. Front desk is operated by emotionless robot receptionists who, are almost intentionally uninterested and have no flexibility. I hate that I have to switch Drs, but I can’t get in when it actually counts!

I recently broke my wrist. I was able to get into see Gretchen Daniels, the nurse practitioner. As always she was pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and caring. I needed a referral to Ortho , and needed it quickly. I had the referral through my insurance and was able to get seen by orthopedics the same day. It is important to not only have excellent medical staff, but also extraordinary office support team to make sure you have quick access to the right level of care for you health problem. Family has been going here a while and normally love it, however I was recently sent to get bloodwork, and when the results came in it showed high cholesterol. Dr.Hudsons office called me saying I would need to make an appointment soon to go over my bloodwork results. When I went, he came in, told me I had high cholesterol (which I already saw online), told me to google the Mediterranean diet (didnt even give me a informational paper or anything just to google it), and then said I was good to go and to come back in 6 months to check on things. He was also not wearing a mask, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed he mightve forgotten, but still for a doctor to not be wearing a mask in his own office during a pandemic looks pretty bad (this appointment was back in December so the vaccines werent even rolling out yet). For a 5 minute conversation I was charged $80 and no new information was given to me. Im also a student at ucf and had finals coming up at the time, overall felt rushed, like my time wasnt valued and they mostly cared about the money. I debated writing this review for a long time but finally decided to post it even though its been a couple months since.

I didnt have a primary, so I decided to finally figure that out. So I read up on Dr Hudsons reviews. Seems like more than most have good things to say. The front desk ladies seem to have the bad wrap in the reviews, mostly to do with fees people dont expect. They were fine when we needed an urgent appointment. I went today - those ladies were great, considerate, kind and accommodating. I actually saw Gretchen the nurse practitioner, she was knowledgeable, listened well, was practical and went the extra mile to address my needs. I wouldnt read too much into a lot of the moaning that comes from people whos expectations werent met in some of the other reviews.

Gretchen Daniels is by far the greatest doctor that I have ever had the privilege of going to. Her staff is so welcoming and Erica at the front desk is always happy to lend a helping hand. The whole staff always has a smile on their face in as a 44-year-old woman it is so great to know that I have a doctor that will spend as long as I need And not rush me. Gretchen Daniels is on the ball and will do everything she can to get to the root of an illness or any concerns you may have. I cannot say enough good things about the staff the nurses and all the doctors. She really does care and you feel it each time you visit her❤️

The NP is wonderful but the receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. I had never had a front desk person roll their eyes because I questioned an office policy. I am a Registered Nurse who works in an office and we are questioned all the time. In fact I have referred a couple clients to this practice, but will never again.

I love Dr. Hudson, but TWICE now I went in for my appointment and they didnt have me in their books. Todays bonus was the young lady at the desk finishing her not terribly important conversation with a coworker before greeting me. After telling them I was out of my rescue inhaler and todays appointment was for a refill, they said sorry and rescheduled me for next week. So ithis asthma patient gets to go another week without an inhaler. Thanks!

The front desk reception EricaDoesn’t have any compassion and she is very unprofessional regarding how she speak with patients. To get same-day appointment with the doctor is never possible. If you leave messages for the medical assistant to call you it’s very likely you will not receive a same-day call.

Dr Hudson has been my family primary care physician for several years and has provided with the best care. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated and he cares about his patients and their well-being. My wife and I have nothing but great gratitude for an amazing person. I highly recommend this place.

Great service from all the employees. Hospitality was outstanding. A well maintain office and staff. I honestly recomend to anyone who is in need make that appointment and be welcome as part of a family because at soon as you walk in the love and the calmness is felt.

Great staff and providers. Everyone is always nice and I always appreciate having my work schedule accommodated for appointments. I also appreciate being seen on short notice when the situation has merited a same day appointment. The practitioners have always been kind, patient, receptive, and helpful. I highly recommend their Avalon location.

This was our first time visiting the office, the staff was very welcoming and awesome. The PA was very professional and took the time to understand the reason for our visit. We didn’t feel rushed! Check them out if you’re new to East Orlando or need a good doctor.

Dr. Hudson is an Excellent Doctor. He takes his time and listens to you and explains everything with details. Im glad I found him best primary doctor. He has a friendly staff and Now they have an amazing office manager. Very satisfied with his office.

My first time at Hudson Medical Wellness was great! The front staff was very friendly and helpful. I saw Gretchen Daniels and she was very thorough and informative! I needed a referral which I was worried about because in my past experiences, I had to wait for weeks to get a referral. The referral coordinator called me 15 mins after I left the office with my approved referral information! I would definitely recommend this office!

Incredible. Rude, unprofessional front staff. They hung up on my father and I TWICE. He has been a patient of Dr. Hudson and Gretchen for years. He called and asked if they could see him today and they said they were full, but could see him Monday. When he said he could tentatively make the appointment for Monday as he might go to the hospital in the meantime they literally slammed the phone down. I called immediately from my phone and once they heard it was him calling they slammed the phone down again. Rude, gross, unprofessional behavior. The only one worth with any semblance of professionalism in that office is Brittany.

I’ve been going to Dr Hudson for 15 years. I drive 40 miles one way to see him because he is a patient man and is always easy to talk to. His staff is great! I was not a fan of his staff a few years ago, I actually did not go there because his staff was always short with me and I left there angry many times. But now, they have changed people in the front office and they are really great. Dr Hudson picked up on a serious heart issue I had and actually made an appointment for me which probably saved me from having a stroke. I always enjoy the doctor visit now!

Have been going to Hudson for over a decade (since he only had one office in Avalon) and while there were issues with the staff years ago now they are great. Dr. Hudson is a very knowledgeable doctor and I love it that he can send prescriptions, any and all prescription including controlled ones through the computer so by the time you get to your pharmacy theyre ready for pickup. The negative reviews honestly baffle me; he provides a premium medical experience for sure. I just wish it didnt come at such a premium price.. you get what you pay for.

This office is very professional and courteous! Everytime I go in for an appointment the staff is very friendly and helpful. They never hesitate to go out of there way to provide me with the best service possible. I will not be changing doctors anytime soon!

Honestly If I could give 0 stars, I would. The nurse practitioner Andrea,or whatever her name is. Just lacked bedside manners,she was very short and dry. As a patient, I do not expect or appreciate a provider. Being short and dry with me,especially since you are getting paid to see me. There are too many other health clinics, for anyone to have to deal with this kind of treatment. The staff at the front desk are pretty friendly and helpful.The providers there are just not at all welcoming or seem to care about their patient care. They are in and out of the room,without any care. If you are getting paid to see a patient, the least you can do is answer your patients question. Not be so ready to send your patient off,with questions unanswered. I definitely made a formal complaint to my insurance company.

I came to this doctor after reading the great reviews. But unfortunately I can not agree with them. He is always in a rush. He does not listen. If youre my doctor, you should listen and follow my requests. Especially when its as simple as getting a physical. Its as if he has somewhere better to be when Im trying to explain my problems or issues. The staff is great but the doctor himself is just not friendly.

Dr. Hudson and Gretchen are great. I have been going there since the Avalon days. I would give this place 5 stars BUT the new nurse practitioner, her last name is King (If I remember correctly) is awful.Feel free to look for her mugshot on Seminole County. She was arrested for drunkenly assaulting her boyfriend after he cheated on her (according to the police report). She is an unethical disaster. If Gretchen leaves (as she did for a brief period of time) I would look for a new doctors office.

Dr George Hudson is a very good doctor. He is a former Navy military doctor. He has been my doctor for 9 years. Approximately 4 years ago he changed locations and attempted to open a second location. Their has been a fundamental shift in the entire office staff and the patient services they provided. I have asked mulitple times for mulitple referrals to specialist and they consistantly do not followed through in the office. Almost every month my wife or I have to repeatly ask for routine prescription refills. They changed their prescription refill policy and now say just to have the pharmacy call so they ignore them. As a heart patient, I need certain meds filled and cant afford to be without them. The last straw is when I asked to speak to the office manager and they put on a woman with a heavy accent that I couldnt understand andwas not helpful at all. I attempted to cancelled a appointment and tryed to get a live person for two days then just left a message on the voice mail. Within two days of my cancelled appt they had sent me a fifty dollar cancelation charge. I cant cancel a appt if you dont answer the phones. I have contacted my insurance to get a new doctor.

Went in as new patient for blood work and prescription updates, needed insulin for diabetes, told them the wrong brand by mistake.Called to have insulin changed to correct brand, was told to wait till follow up for blood work. Got called a week later than promised for blood results, notified them about the insulin again, was told it would be sent to pharmacy, also was given more blood work to be done.After second set of blood work not only did the office never call me back with my results, I was also unable to get a hold of anybody after countless calls and messages, and the prescription never got changed. Went somewhere else and got my things situatedMaybe if you are a long time patient its fine, but I feel like I wasted my time.

DR. Hudson is absolutely the best doctor in town, i have been to his office for several yrs now and i couldnt be happier with him and how he treats you as a patient. He TRULY cares about his patients. His staff is also very friendly. If you call during the day for a sick visit they will do everything humanly possible to accommodate you.

WOW been coming here for years. Typically come in for my annual physical and to review the results. They now want to charge $25.00 to sign my lab results page and fax it to my benefits provider so I get my HSA credit (and that on top of the $76 office visit fee to come back and review the results). If my credit towards my HSA is $150 then both fees eat up 2/3 of that amount). This is ludacris and its sad to say but Ill be switching to another provider. They act as if we are not getting beat up enough over the rising healthcare costs, and its very offensive to charge this fee to sign my paper. Its been nice!

Dr Hudson has been my family Dr for a long time. He is very caring and very knowlodgeable , he goes the extra mile when it comes to the care of his patients. His staff is wonderfull and they are always promp help you with everything. I have nothing but gratitude to him and his staff and highly recommend Dr Hudson for all the your medical needs.

I have been seeing this Doctor since 2005. Based on the care and the inability to diagnose issues I wanted to leave since 2006. My wife wanted to stay, she saw Dr Hudsons wife who has since left the practice (Hmmm). Well any way after he determined I was fat and lazy, seems there was this thing called the military that messed me up. He failed to even review the documentation from my discharge physical. Thanks to to him I am fighting for everything even items that were documented such as a need for a right hip replacement.I love my wife but you know what, divorce is better, I am in such pain everyday and struggle to go to work, but thanks to doc Hudson, I am only fat and lazy...just ask him.

Very kind staff, but poor communication. It is challenging to book appointments or receive call back messages. They do not work the phones on Fridays.

Id give them zero stars if I could. When we first went there Dr. Hudson was great, but after a year or so we could never get an appointment with him because hes never there. My daughter needed her shot records for school and they didnt know what form to fill out, and then wouldnt give us the records without scheduling a doctors appointment. When we went for the appt, they said I had to come back after 24 hours to pick up the forms. 😡 The last straw was not being able to get an appt for a critical issue because they dont leave openings for emergencies. We changed our PCP that very day and found a doctor that will squeeze you in when its needed, a doctor and staff who care for their patients and an office team that is friendly and helpful rather than rude and clueless. Save yourself a lot of headaches and go somewhere else!!!!

This has to be the worst experience ive had with a Doctors office. What drew me to this office were the multiple good reviews, but boy was i mislead. I have had to come back multiple times due to misdiagnosis and worsening symptoms because of false treatment. Dr. Hudson was unapologetic and insisted I continue to pay him because oh well it was human error, what do you want me to do. Dr. Hudson does not take the time to talk with the patient instead is always rushed and quick to leave the room. I even asked a question about a certain concern I had and his response was it might be this just go and google it. The very reason why one goes to the doctor is to seek advice from a Medical Professional, not to be told to just google it. I am very unpleased with this doctor and will not be going back.

Hands down the worst place you could go in Orlando, they are just money hungry and their staff are the worst group of people you could find. Find a place that actually cares about their clients, cause you won’t find that here.

Find Another ProviderTried twice to get a RX for arthritis renewed. Renewal declined and no reason given. I was also not contacted (twice) about the refusal for the RX to be renewed.Called the office - pushed to voice mail twice. Got a call back (much later) which said to call again.This is the third time Ive had a problem with getting an arthritis RX.I focus on nurse Daniels as an unresponsive and uncaring ARNP.It is very clear to me she is trying to exert some sort of control.So her control is to deny medication to deal with my condition.Aint gonna happen.I will call again to cancel my appointment with the nurse and not reschedule.Im finding a new health care provider.I will also inform my insurer and provide information to have this provider taken out of the network.This sort of treatment is intolerable.Kevin Furlong, PhD

I didnt even see a doctor. After filling out so much paper work. I saw a nurse. I came to see dr.hudson. specifically asked for dr.hudson when i made the appointment. Then found out they dont give shots there. The whole reason i went there! So they prescribed me the b12 and i had to wait an hour at the minute clinic.

Bill DeMott i lived in Orlando florida. I got ill over the weekend with fever and cough. The doctor took me first thing monday morning and i was very happy with everything. I would recomend to all.

Havent been able to get a call through for the past week. I know they moved offices but Im unsure why this is an issue.
