We had our baby last spring; Jude was there to assists us through the whole pregnancy and was there to guide us through the birth of our beautiful son. She is great to get to know and has so much great knowledge about the birthing process from years of experience. Highly recommend her and her expertise.

Jude Melton is awesome! She was our midwife for the birth of both our babies, and both experiences were amazing. Shes very understanding and works with her clients, and does whatever she can for you to have the homebirth you want. Needless to say I have recommended her to many many friends, and many others have highly enjoyed her services.

Jude has been the attending midwife at 3 of my 4 births and is such a joy to work with! Shes more than a medical professional, shes a friend. She was always very responsive with communication and always made me feel like a priority throughout every pregnancy and birth.

We adore Jude and Che! They bonded with our entire family and educated and supported us throughout the entire pregnancy.Our son was born at home with the help of these two wonderful people! I couldnt have imagined a more perfect labor and delivery. The last part of labor came fast and strong and I was a bit overwhelmed with how quickly it came to push. Jude was there to keep me focused. I needed her and Ches voice there to reassure, guide and encourage, and Im truly grateful for both of them for giving us such an amazing experience.

Jude is an AMAZING midwife! My wife was laboring for about an hour and Jude knew exactly what to do to have my wife move so the baby would shift just right. We had our baby “sunny side up” and it ended up PERECT. Everyone healthy and happy. I highly recommend Jude if you are considering a midwife! I honestly felt safer with her than when we had our first baby in a hospital.

Jude was an awesome midwife. Our entire experience with Jude was great, from start to birth. And to be able to have our little girl be born at home. You cant describe it. It was amazing. Just to top off the great and professional service we are still friends. If we decide to have another kid we will definitely going back.

Jude is an absolutely wonderful midwife. Me and my wife can not say enough nice things about her. We have had six kids ranging from military hospitals to home births, in Alaska and Arizona. I am a military veteran and having had babies born while I was deployed I know the difference a supportive midwife can make. She isnt the kind of midwife that keeps track of just enough personal information to make you feel like she knows whats going on. She gets to know you and really does care about her clients and treats them like family. I loved that close connected feel. It makes the entire birthing process so much more personal. Having a midwife feel like family is so much less intrusive and seems so much more natural to me. I am not entirely sure if we will have more kids, but if we do there is no one I would rather have. Unlike other midwives we have worked with I never once felt she was more concerned about money or building a client base, than she was about us and our concerns and needs.

Finding Jude was such a blessing! She was our midwife for three pregnancies and home births. Jude helped me with managing my food for optimal health of our babies. She is still a great friend of the family as well. Her knowledge and care was exactly what we needed and we are forever grateful that we were able to have our babies at home with her assistance.

Jude cared for myself and my 3 babies, who were all born at home. She was with me for every step of the way and was caring and kind. She doesnt just look at you as a client, she also becomes your friend. She is very knowledgeable and HONEST and she acts with integrity within the Midwifery scope of practice. Jude was my midwife for two pregnancies. I had a truly amazing experience working with her! She is so intuitive, so patient, so professional and knowledgeable. Our pre-natal appointments were an hour long; during that time I became very educated about many aspects of pregnancy and birthing, nutrition, and I also felt very supported and cared about! My home birth experience was exactly my vision of what I wanted. I wanted to be the leader, I wanted a midwife there to support me, but I wanted to be in control of myself and my environment. My experiences were so fulfilling, memorable, and meaningful. Jude is very well read and educated, she stays current on all information. She absolutely can be trusted with the safety and well being of the patient. Level headed, dependable, kind, thoughtful; Jude is a treasure.

Im not sure how to sum up our experience with Jude in a short paragraph. This was our 3rd pregnancy and by far the most difficult for me both during the pregnancy and the recovery afterwards. Everything was so different that I felt like a first time mom all over again. Not once through the entire process did Jude ever make me feel stupid, inadequate, anything negative, really. She was so encouraging, uplifting, supportive and loving towards not just me but my entire family. Her heart put all the right people in our path, her guidance gave us the most beautiful and peaceful birth Ive ever had, and her encouragement during the postpartum period has been above and beyond what I ever could have asked for. She puts her heart and soul into each client and makes you feel like you are the only client she has. I couldnt have asked for a better midwife!!!!

I have had 3 births with Jude at Sunrise Midwifery. Trust me when I say she knows her stuff. We had a birth that unexpectedly took a surprise turn. She was calm and knowledgeable. Our family was fortunate to have her. Should I find myself pregnant again, there isnt a midwife in the world that Id rather have by my side.

Jude was an incredible source of knowledge and wisdom for me. She guided me through my pregnancy with my 4th baby and was vigilant and easy to get ahold of. She bonded well with my husband and kids and my whole family just loved her! Unfortunately I was unable to have a home birth due to low iron levels that just would not come up. She directed me to an amazing midwife with hospital privledges, but stayed with me, checking in on me and helping me write my hospital birth plan. She was there for delivery and helped me make good decisions about my care during labor. Cannot say enough good things about her. She really pours her heart and soul into her role as midwife and she does it so well!

Jude is a fantastic midwife! I found her for my 4th home birth (6th baby). Not only was Jude friendly and knowledgeable, but she made me feel like family. We have a unique situation and she handled it without judgement, and was supportive, no matter what I needed. She respected me and my family and was very flexible.
