Dr. Huff has been amazing through my pregnancy and delivery my husband and I are so grateful for his vast experience and knowledge. During delivery complications he worked fast and delivered our beautiful daughter safely. Also the office staff is amazing !

Dr. Huff delivered my babygirl & at first I was nervous because how short appointments went & ultrasounds. & Him being my first time, this being my 5th kid, he did a good job Thank you & your staff.

Dr Huff and his staff are wonderful! I have been going here for years and just had Dr Huff deliver my first child. He has TONS of experience which I really appreciated when I had a long and difficult labor and needed some interventions to help things along. He knew exactly what to do and I felt confident trusting him.Its true that well visits are very quick, which I appreciate! If you have questions you just have to ask, he will take the time with you, but not if you dont ask. I think most women just want to get out of there quick so thats what he tries to do. I see some reviewers thinking he is too abrupt or rude but thats not the case. If you have concerns, ask!The staff is the very best also! They helped me figure out a payment plan for labor and delivery services and have been really responsive on paperwork when my insurance and/or disability needs something. Thanks so much to everyone!

Dr Huff was wonderful for both me and my best friend who had our sons 2 years apart. She recommended him and I was very satisfied. Wait times can sometimes be long but Dr Huff is amazing, fast, and professional. He let me video call my boyfriend for every visit he couldnt make, answered any of my questions, and handled my c section like an absolute boss. 20 minutes and my son was out and my tubes were being tied. He also didnt need or ask for my boyfriends approval in getting my tubes tied which I appreciated deeply.

I really havent been here much at all, only being about 15 wks pregnant, but I feel as though some of these bad reviews are exaggerated. I just thought I should clarify something. First, sure, the doctor doesnt stay with you that long but he does answer questions should you have any. Same with the front desk. Ive called at least 3 times just with questions and they take the time to figure it out and reassure me. Second, the doctor has always been friendly and acknowledged my husband. My last visit, my husband stepped out and missed hearing the heartbeat. When he came back, Dr. Terry repeated the process again so my husband could hear our babys heart. He offered! Oh, and the ultrasound tech I had was super nice and professional. She laughed with us about how the baby was bouncing around and made me feel completely comfortable. Each visit takes less than an hour, especially since I only end up waiting 5 to 10 minutes. The lab tech was even there once during my appointment and I didnt have to go anywhere to get my blood drawn. So far this place has earned nothing but my gratitude.

Im 18 now and got off of birth control (depo shot) about a year ago. My mother was the one who decided to put me on it. I was on it for about 2 years exactly when I decided that it was making me sick. Once I got off of it I lost about 30 pounds and couldnt eat. I was puking and almost fainting constantly. They didnt warn me about any side effects and my mom was in the room the whole time. Even if they told my guardian, they should tell me as well so I can make an educated decision.

Dr seemed more interested in making sure I was going to pay the bill than my health. The wellness exam took less than 5 minutes with no questions about past health. Very cursory exam. Not impressed. Was sure to tell me, however, that I would be billed a telemed visit if my pap smear test was anything but negative. It takes time you know. I always thought result reports were part of the test itself.

Dr. Huff is wonderful, as is his staff! He made me very comfortable in the delivery room. I would definitely choose him to deliver future babies. He is a bit rushed at appointments (as he does have a lot of patients) but if you do have questions he will answer them. His short and simple answers can come off as standoffish but he is knowledgeable, confident and he knows what hes doing. You dont need to be chatty and best friends with someone delivering your baby!

I love the doctors here! Dr. Terry Huff has been wonderful and medically helped me with some very scary and emotional medical situations. I even had my daughter go to him when she had her baby. Medical professionals have lots more than you see going on and with the covid requirements right now it has not been easy on anyone. I recommend this office time and time again. The front office staff and nurses are very kind and friendly.

Beware of hidden charges. I went in for a service and the doctor said he would call with my results. I was charged an additional $65.00 for him telling me my results. They said I signed paperwork for telehealth services which I did. However, they did not inform me I would have to pay more money for my results which is absolutely absurd. Also, I would not prefer him doing surgery on me either since they seem to have shady billing practices as well as he seemed to be a little arrogant.

I was having ovary pain with other symptoms so I found this dr and made an appointment. Everyone but the Dr himself were terrific. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The Dr however was awful. I live a clean lifestyle and he was treating me like a drug seeker. I was legitimately trying to find out what was going on in my body. He was incredibly rude even after tests revealed the reason I was having pain. How does someone treat paying customers this way and maintain a business, its mind boggling. There are plenty of other OBGYNs out there and I suggest this Dr as a last resort.

At the hospital in labor Dr Huff comes in and wanted to speed up labor with medication. I said no. He had the audacity to say he wont be back until 5pm. Then he talked me into breaking my water, my husband went to the car and I felt backed into a corner so I agreed. Would not recommend this doctor. Dont let the wall of delivery pictures fool you. He did not care about delivering my baby or following my birth plan.

Best ob/gyn physician and staff. Very professional, compassionate and quick to serve my needs. Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.

At first I wasn’t happy with Dr. Huff because of how long you had to wait in his office for your appointment and then he was so quick to see you and speak with you then hurry out the door to the next patient once you got into a waiting room. But the reason I’m giving 5 stars is because the delivery of my baby was an amazing experience due to Huff. He knew exactly what he was doing and I didn’t even need my birth plan that I created at the beginning of my pregnancy since he already does the things that I wanted. The birth went smoothly and better than I could’ve ever imagined. Baby was happy and healthy. I healed up quickly in the days following the birth with no problems. I recommend him to deliver your baby. He is trustworthy. You just have to speak up and ask questions during your visits with him.

Dr Huff is wonderful, been going here over 13 years. He delivered my twins and has always taken time to answer my questions.

I was absolutely shocked to see that this office had a low rating and a few poor reviews. Because of that I felt it was my duty to defend this office, so here I am.I have been coming to Desert Rose and Dr Huff for 11 years now. He has delivered all of my children in those 11 years and I am back for my next pregnancy!I have recently moved about 30 minutes away from his office, but I will make the drive because I REFUSE to go to anyone else.My first delivery was scary and I have always attributed Dr Huff and his expertise as the reason why my child and I made it through okay. I believe he saved our lives. Ever since that moment I have been nothing but faithful to him and his office.Regardless of what some reviews say he is extremely personable and is ALWAYS happy to answer every question (no matter how small). Does he move quickly sometimes? Yes! Because he’s a busy professional! But he will 1000% make time for you if you ask. Dr Huff is a great doctor I had full prenatal care through them for two of my pregnancies and two successful c sections. He did a better job at the surgery than the other c section I had. It was quick, his nurses were pro, my mom who is also a medical professional told me that he did the sutures like a work of art. My scar even looks better than it did before maybe he fixed it up a little. I would not recommend anyone else. I was in shock at these reviews

This doctor is shutting me out of the appointments even after Ive offered to take extra precautions in the appointments. He said I dont need to be there. So me as the father of the child isnt needed? Seriously Im trying to be there for my girlfriend and son ABCs before hes born this doctor is trying to push me out of his life! Will be changing doctors 2 weeks before the due date. Im the father I shouldnt be being pushed aside from my sons appointments!

Dr Huff seems nice enough, though their follow up as well as attention to details, notes when scheduling even calling to confirm why I needed an appointment were ignored. I called to follow up on my next appointment as they missed their call back date and I am responsible for my health, to find they are back logged weeks and were not going to call until they heard something (though they told me to expect a call within 4-5 days). If you are looking for a Dr of office who will do their job this is not the place to go. (Not pregnant, just well check and IUD)

I would avoid Dr. Huff. I have had some issues with my IUD. I made an appointment and he has no bedside manner. I tried explaining my concerns. He did not listen and just assumed I wanted it out. I had to tell him I would like an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. I even had to suggest my own birth control options. He saw me for less than 5 minutes and said I had to schedule my ultrasound for a different day. I returned for my ultrasound and the tech was great. But in order to get my results I had to schedule an additional appointment to see Dr. Huff. As a doctor myself with my own patients that need to be seen, I do not have the time to take off that much time from work. I could not believe I was not scheduled to see him to make sure everything was okay.During both appointments, they did not take the time to take my weight or blood pressure (especially when I explained I have had a history of high blood pressure in the past). Their lack of detail worries me and their facilities are not well kept.I will be getting my ultrasound results and transferring to discuss them with a different OBGYN.

Had a few appointments scheduled at this location and not one of them we were seen on time. The first time we waited 45 minutes to be seen. The second was about 30 minutes, and we are currently waiting and just hit the 1 hour mark. If you schedule someone for an appointment, and want them there 15 minutes early, then you better be ready!!! Make less appointments or get more staff or something. Making the customer wait almost an hour for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable.

It honestly kind of blows my mind to see some of the reviews on here that I do. Ive been seeing dr. Huff for going on 6 years now, hes seen me for rwgular check-ups, been there through both of my pregnancies, delivered my daughter, and even recently preformed a laparoscopic surgery for me about a week ago. This guys does it all so its no wonder theres a little bit of a wait sometimes. Personally I think its well worth it. Front desk staff is always friendly when I come in, nurses are fantastic and always make me feel comfortable and answer my questions if I have them, and the ultrasound tech is great, and even scheduling on the way out is amazing. Theres literally not a single person there who has ever made me feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. I guess everyone has their own experiences but mine has always been a great one here, and will continue to be :)

I LOVE this doctor, my mom, grandma, and myself have been coming here for years. This is my first pregnancy and the doctor has answered all questions I have and they always make me feel welcomed. I haven’t had any issues! Love the ultrasound tech too, she’s laidback and pretty relatable, which makes me feel comfortable. I would give this place a million stars if I could.

The positive ratings is just the company trying to get their their ratings up. No one is happy going here. All the negative experiences are the truth.

I love this office. I tell all my pregnant friends to come here. Doctor Huff and his medical assistants are incredibly kind and caring. Hes delivered 2 of my babies and I wouldnt go anywhere else for prenatal and postnatal care for myself

Dont go here you might find that your child is in danger dr huff cant be trusted my girl told him that she had heart issues and said he will make an appointment and never did and she is now 37 weeks and keeps putting off info and dont tell her anything

The ultrasound Tech is the WORST! She completely embarrassed me and my boyfriend. When we were called back she noticed us from our first pregnancy and she says something along the line of “your back already, back to soon huh?” In front of everybody in the lobby.. very unprofessional. She needs to be more focused on her job than inappropriately commenting on things that don’t concern her. Love the doctor but the rest of the process is terrible..

Amazing Doctor. Delivered my daughter, was knowledgeable, he does have an extremely busy schedule and rushes quite a bit but if you come with a list of questions he will sit and answer each one. He also took time out of his day to call me after hours to calm my concerns of bleeding after checking my cervix.

I feel pretty conflicted writing this review, but I definitely wanted to share my thoughts. These doctors are very nice, but so extremely laid-back that it comes off as unprofessional. I had a procedure done with them and I heard a number of staff say things, and make jokes, that were very offensive to the elderly, the mentally ill, and they talked about other patients they were seeing, only for a brief time...but still. The last issue I had was that they discussed politics right before doing my procedure, and the doctor tried to tell me neurological information with absolutely no science to back it up (Im in the psychological field, and this surprised me that they were so misinformed).I do not want to give off the wrong impression, theyre very nice people and I dont dislike them, but the comments they made and the way they handle their office makes me think it wouldnt be a good place for someone who is sensitive or has PTSD.

Best doctors and staff ever! Always friendly, in and out for appts. I have never been to an office I like so much. They take such good care of you!! So fortunate to have found them.

DONT GO HERE!!!!!!! He’s short with you rush in doesn’t do a good job and 2 seconds later he’s leaving without asking if you have any questions.. you wait two hours in waiting area every time no seats because of over crowding. If you call to speak with someone no one ever returns calls. I have a breast infection shaking so bad and feel horrible call right at nine am they say someone will call you and we will send a prescription over wait all day nothing call back in pain to speak to nurse NO but we will send a prescription over in 20 min to pharmacy I give them an hour nothing call them same bull.. this place doesn’t care for you or your baby only about money and getting you out of office this place is h@$& don’t do it find a better place that will care for you and listen when you have a problem

Extremely unprofessional. I am the father and my first time here i only met the ultrasound tech. She made comments about other doctors saying they didnt know what they were talking about in reference to a complication she had with heavy bleeding. She also made other remarks that were not professional. The next time i was there with my girlfriend i saw dr. huff. He didnt even acknowledge me when he walked in. No hello, no are you the father, no introducing himself. He was extremely rushed and didnt seem to want to answer questions thoroughly. I mentioned the ultrasound tech and mh concerns with what she said and he replied that shes just an ultrasound tech. He didnt give her the genetic testing when she asked about it and wanted it done previously and beat around the bush when she asked him on this visit. He made remarks about her going to a specialist but never sent her to one when he should have. I questioned him about it and when he contradicted himself i called him out on it. He got flustered and started shaking and didnt really have a good answer and kept changing his answers. After all of that he said he was going to refer her to a specialist at the end. The specialist had heard things about him as well. Long story short, we just wrapped up our first visit with a new doctor and we both feel very relieved and happy to be with a different doctor. The difference is night and day.

Both doctors here are mediocre. My pet peeve is when a doctor doesnt have your chart in their hands during a consultation. We as patients go through the time and effort to fill out all the pages, they need to refer to them. Lisa Huff has a much better bedside manner than Dr Terry. But she only does office visits, no procedures really. The nurses and MAs are mediocre too. The billing dept is a nightmare. I am still trying to resolve my bills from May/June. The front desk made me pay for an office visit and now it is a burden on me to show proof of the payment which was the wrong amount anyway.

One of the worst clinics I’ve been to. I call early in the morning during calling hours and they don’t answer. The clinic inside looks dirty and unkept. I called in because I was really sick with bronchitis and wanted to know what medicine I could take since I was in my first trimester. They didn’t give me a call back until the end of the day, by then I was already in the ER hooked up to an IV. The nurses aren’t very professional either. All it’s takes is a simple greeting to give a first good impression.

The only Doctor I have seen at this establishment was Dr. Terry Huff. I have never been so disrespected or treated as unprofessionally by a health care professional before meeting Dr. Huff. He did not take time to answer my questions and if I did ask one he would talk down to me and belittle me. After my unfortunately third, and definitely last visit I went to my car a wept because of how stupid he made me feel. I was also told that the disease that I didnt have at my last appointment I actually did have and he didnt have time to talk to me or answer my questions. I will not be going back and will not recommend to others.

Would not recommend. Transferred mid pregnancy to a different doctors. This was my first pregnancy and had a normal first time pregnancy questions questions. The doctor and ultra sound tech never had time to answer any questions/ if they did answer my questions they didn’t have time to explain anything.2 appointments I never even saw the doctor. What I assume was an assistant or dr in training?( idk official title haha he never introduced himself) came in took the baby’s heart beat and left the room without saying a word to me besides that I was done and could go schedule my next appointment.I had a few billing questions and every time I called the billing phone number provided I never got through to an actual person, the system would say due to the high number of calls I couldn’t speak to a live representative and to call back again. This happened multiple times. Super unprofessional.

I recently went to Dr. Huff. I was extremely satisfied with the results of having P.C.O.S. and other female concerns. Dr. Huff took the time to explain the medication he was giving me and explain side effects. He was very gentle during the pap smear process and the staff and nurses was amazing!

I have had mixed experiences but my last “appointment” made me walk out in tears at his insensitivity and the poor time management.First off, I had just come off of medication and hadn’t had a period in about six months and I’d received news of likely infertility the appointment before.I had questions about where to go from there and I had to wait an hour after my appointment time to be seen, was brushed off and given a prescription for something not explained. He then lectured me on a period after sarcastically asking “Do you know what a period is?” To a 23-year-old woman with a degree in health.I will never go back and hope he’s kinder with the women in his care.

Doctor acts like nothing is wrong in the world and hardly provides any information regarding about the pregnancy. One of the ultrasounds specialist was extremely rude and took out her frustration on us due to her being behind schedule. Quoting some of her comments: well Did the hospital also told you theres a 40% chance you could have a miscarriage, well if you have common sense you would know this is completely normal, oh you would be surprised what pregnant women can do, we have one who runs marathons. Her response to all this rudeness was in just trying to educate you guys. This is our first baby, they changed our due date 3 times, and they are sloppy with their paperwork. We are still waiting for our health records to be released to our new OBGYN, its been almost 2 weeks now...

Dr. Huff is amazing. He delivered all 3 of my children. With my 2nd i went to valley women for women because they were close to me, however they were terrible. I immediately pulled all records and went back to Dr. Huff mid pregnancy. Ill never switch again!!! Love the staff too!

Honestly I switched dr. at 27 weeks due to the fact this dr. couldnt answer any of my questions and treated my boyfriend poorly. dr huff is horrible rude and uneducated, he judges a couple before getting to know them.

Was with dr huff for 10 years before i decided to switch docs. Every time you ask a question/s hes walking out of the door so youre there with your personal questions for everyone to hear. But what got me with this pregnancy (my 3rd) is that i had an appt friday that was scheduled a month in advance. They call me thursday to tell me he has surgeries hes doing so he wont be there and he always schedules surgeries around this time. Then why schedule me to see him then???? So i see the ultrasound tech because it was a dual appt. I dont think this tech knows much. She kept saying she couldnt get a good view of the baby because i was gassy and needed to poop which i didnt feel i needed to do either. I told my new obgyn about this (she does her own ultrasounds) and she said it was the placenta in the way. anyways i reschedule my doc huff appt for the following tuesday (the 12th last week) to get it done and over with. My appt time was 10:30. An hour goes by and i go ask the scheduler when Ill be seen because people behind me were being called. She checks and comes back to say theyre calling me next. Ok i can live with that. 4 people later (about 20 mins after) i tell thsm im leaving that i was not next and i need to go. An hour in a half? Are you kidding me? I feel like a product on an assembly line there. Just sucks it took me this 3rd pregnancy to see it...i found a great obgyn that day that fit me in (the one i mentioned that does her own ultrasounds).

Honestly worthless. I’m literally about to give birth in a couple weeks & first of all they Couldn’t verify my insurance correctly , told me I was ineligible but yet another ob got everything correct? Hmm. They also told me to come in as soon as possible bcuss of my glucose tests when I went I waited 2 whole hours for them to not even see me . Thank god I found another ob last minute. All the people I’ve spoken to at this office were just the worst. I read the bad reviews before going and still decided to give them a chance but obviously I should’ve stayed away. Thanks for nothing !

Very perfessional staff. Ultrasound tech is amazing and explains everything shes doing. Dr huff is very well educated and makes having a male Dr very comfortable.

If I could put negative stars I would. That Doctor is the worst man I have ever talked to and I had the most uncomfortable experience of my life. 17 years old and went to this doctor by myself I sat in the room for 45 minutes for him to come in, criticize me, tried forcing me to do the shot form of birth control when thats NOT what I want to do, and then threw a birth control prescription at me without even asking me questions. The doctor was in and out in 3 minutes and was EXTREMELY RUDE. I suggest no one ever goes there, to be honest he should be fired. Such a horrible human being. I was crying before I even got out of the door.

This is an outstanding ob/gyn clinic. The doctors and staff and wonderful people oriented individuals who actually listen to what you have to say and help solve the problems/concerns. Thanks so much for all you do.

Wish I could do a negative star. Worst experience Ive ever had with a dr. Dr. Huff was extremely rude and very passive aggressive. I was concerned about a bump I found and wanted to make sure I hadnt contracted gh. When I told him my concerns he asked if I had Any new partners I said I had been seeing someone for a little over 2 months and he proceeded saying before even looking at the area he probably has herpes, knew about it, and didnt tell you. They usually dont and smirked at me.Told me Within two seconds of looking that I had it which you CAN NOT GIVE A DEFINATE DIAGNOSIS without a blood test ran. The bump went away within a day and in doing my research Im sure it was an ingrown hair. Still waiting for results but not worried whatsoever. When he inappropriately diagnosed Me I broke down to the point I felt like I was gonna throw up he walked right out of the room and said well good luck very snide. Ive never been treated so poorly by a medical professional. He should be fired for what he did to me and put me through! Whatever the results say is irrelevant to the fact that the way he treated me so disrespectfully scared me from trusting a dr again!

Terrible expierence at this facility in Mesa. DO NOT GO HERE! The only friendly person here is the sign in lady at the front desk and the nurse with the tattoos. The doctor never acknowledged my husband and son when I took them to the appointment with me. I am 8 months pregnant, switched to this obgyn because I moved, expecting to get good service but I got the opposite of that. I was crying when I left this place because I was not treated the way I wanted to be treated. Will NOT be returning to this facility.

If you are going in for PCOS... DONT DO IT! First, He says i have this condition and basically walks out of the room. He didnt give me any information about my condition, just said here you go your on your way. . Tells me im fine and perscribes me medication he gave no explanation on why I was taking it. When i finally got information on my second visit... the ultrasound tech said I just have to be firm with the doctor to have him explain more he isnt good with that kind of stuff... YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT TO A DOCTOR. On top of that. They charged my insurance a pap smear when he came into the room for literally 2 minutes, diagnosed me, then walked out. Did nothing down there.... now I have to wait for a pap smear because my insurance will deny if i get another one now. I will never be stepping foot in there again.

The receptionists were extremely Rude, they cared more about talking loudly about their personal lives than taking care of patients. Signed in waited over 15 mins with no one else in lobby for them to acknowledge I was there. The Doctor didnt listen to my concern. Was in and out of the room in less and 3 mins. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

First it took 11 days to get my results and another 7 days for what he missed in the report. Calls me at 2:15pm says to come back by 4pm to have blood drawn in office. I leave work, get there at 3:30 to be told the lab lady isnt in. They sent me to Sonoran Quest and they didnt accept my ins. Total joke. These are peoples lives they are messing with!

I had a very negative experience here... He charged me over 200 dollars for a urine pregnancy test... Seriously.

They have very friendly and helpful staff. they helped me even before I had insurance and didnt charge till I had gotten insurance.

Ive been seeing Dr. Huff for over a year. Hes horrible! Over books and makes you wait 1-2 hours after your appointment time, also his bed side manner is nonexistent! Hell spend 2-5mins with each patient. Ive been trying to get test results for ovarian cancer, its been a month.. Still not back yet. If youre so far behind, call people and let them know! Some of us have kids we have to bring with us to appointments!

Worst OBGYN Ive ever been too, not caring at all, took forever to get me back, and when he did he answered his phone 3 I repeat 3 times in the 15 minutes he was with me! I hadnt been able to see a doctor and was 17 weeks with a history of a short cervix with my first pregnancy and he didnt want an ultra sound, didnt listen for a heart beat, and didnt even check my blood pressure when I came in and even told him it was high which is why I made a same day appointment. I had to fight tooth and nail to get him to schedule me an ultrasound at all. Ridiculous
