Stefanie has attended and helped me in my last 2 home births. She is Incredibly knowledgeable. Her calm soothing voice helped me stay strong in pushing and through the end of labor. You can feel that she truly loves and cares for her clients and their families. I also felt so much more Informed about everything that would happen throughout the entire pregnancy than I did with my first 3 pregnancies with a doctor and in a hospital. It was the best Experience Ever! Definitely would use her again if we weren’t done having kids. And would recommend her to anyone wanting a home birth.

I am now under 3 weeks away from my due date with my first baby. I have been seeing Stephanie since I was 9 weeks pregnant. I was referred to her by a friend who had the most incredible first birth experience using Stephanie and her services. Its amazing to have a midwife and never have to wait in a doctor waiting room, fill out a million forms, and be treated like a number. Stephanie truly cares and gives you so much special attention. Whenever Ive had a question she responds within seconds via phone call or text. Shes always available. She is the change we need in our medical system. Im also amazed at her knowledge and experience! She seems so calm and reassuring. Im so excited to give birth in a few weeks and I feel empowered knowing that Stephanie will be by my side to support me. I feel so comfortable with her and cant wait for this experience!

I chose Stephanie with NHBS as my midwife for my last two home births and have been beyond pleased with her. She is more than a midwife. She is a friend and part of the family. I have always felt safe and comfortable while in her care. She knew just what to say during labor to help me when I started to feel like I couldnt go any farther. She reminded me just how strong I am and that my body knows what it is doing. She was very respectful of all of my wishes and was beyond trustworthy when I told her we werent announcing my last pregnancy at all. Absolutely love Stephanie and am so glad I have her in my life. I recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing midwife!

I had two hospital births induced and wanted to have a different experience with birth. I was referred by a good friend and my husband and I were overwhelmed with excitement we didnt need to look any further. Stephanie is such a genuine character, I just love her! She has helped me bring two babies into this world so far and in about 9 weeks another! So glad we found her!

When I was first thinking of having a home birth my husband wasn’t on board. He works at a hospital and was concerned about safety. He came with me to interview Stephanie and was completely out at ease by her medical knowledge, experience, and complete honesty. We have had wonderful experiences with her being our midwife for two of our children and are halfway through the process of our third. Stephanie is supportive, kind, professional, honest , and real. She does whatever she needs to do to help you have a positive birth experience. We have come to love her so much and are so grateful we found her.

Stephanie is one of the kindest people I know!!! She has an INCREDIBLE bedside manner, is beyond knowledgeable, and will do everything she can to provide you with the birthing experience you want. She informs you of options but lets you choose whats best for you and your family. I have given birth to 5 kids, 3 in the hospital and the last 2 at home....knowing what I do now I wish they could all have been home births with NHBS.

Stephanie is such an amazing midwife and has been great my entire pregnancy with her! Most amazing midwife! Cared for me attentively but also allowed me the space I needed to do the work of labor. She was gentle, and intuitive but also on top of everything happening, ready to act when needed.
