Took me some time to write this , but Im back and better baby! I absolute LOVED this experience, this company, these women, their spirt their support, all the above. I am genuinely concerned with how much they have impacted my life(for the better). This was my first time doing a homebirth and they made it so comfortable, reassuring and in the end we did together as team. I recommend this team for those seeking a midwives and wonderful support throughout there birthing journey. They are forever in my hearts and my families. I love them x 10!

I am so incredibly glad I went with Aurora Midwifery for my pregnancy, home birth, and post partum experience. The appointments were long so everything could be fully explained and all my questions answered instead of being rushed with different people coming in and out. This service is well worth the price even if your insurance doesn’t accept home births as an option. In fact, I spoke to a coworker who said I paid less than him and his wife did for their hospital birth even though they had insurance. I couldn’t imagine doing my birth with any other midwives and am so glad I found this community!

If you years ago I learned about midwives and birthing centers. At first I thought I would go the birthing center route and that’s where I would have my baby. As I was looking at birthing centers and midwives separately I knew that having my baby at home with a midwife was the perfect route for me. I stumbled upon Aurora Midwifery and I interviewed Alyssa and when we hung up the phone I knew she was going to be the one to help me bring my little baby into this world. The ladies at Aurora are absolutely amazing and they really made my pregnancy journey extraordinary. They made me feel like I wasn’t alone, they made me feel connected and supported. I was always encouraged and told that my body was made to do this and I was able to bring my little man into the world naturally. They are with you through every question and concern. They are experienced and devoted to their mamas. I 100% recommend these ladies, and I will always chose them for any other pregnancies I may have! I love these ladies and I am so blessed to have their support and guidance!

My husband and I were referred to Alyssa by our Doula, and I am so happy we chose her to deliver our baby at home. I appreciated her understanding of herbal remedies and her natural approach to prenatal care. With her knowledge and steadiness she made me feel safe throughout my whole pregnancy and labor. Alyssa is an AMAZING midwife and was such a blessing to have be a part of our birthing experience. She is so caring and stuck with me every step along the way despite all of the complications we had. She is so encouraging and supportive, I cannot express my appreciation for her enough!

I cannot more highly recommend Alyssa and her team! We moved to Arizona two months before our third baby was due and we knew no one. We had experienced an unmedicated hospital birth, a birth at a birth center, and a home birth was something we had always thought would be great but we were still a little nervous. With Covid restrictions in place, no family near by, and a desire to have a birth team that knew us and supported, a homebirth came to make the most sense. After doing an online meet-and-greet we felt fully confident that Alyssa and her team were the perfect fit to support us as we welcomed our third little one. Every appointment, every question, referring us to local providers when needed - she was so gracious through it all! We also LOVED getting to work with Lisette and Mona - such an empowering team! My husband and I felt that we were in EXCELLENT hands through my entire labor, with immediate postpartum care, and through our postpartum visits. We’ll forever be grateful for the care we received through Aurora!

Alyssa is great! Very knowledgeable and very caring. She was our midwife for our most recent kiddo and I cant recommend her enough.

My husband and I took Alyssas hypnobirthing class when preparing to welcome out firstborn into the world. Alyssa was a great instructor and very down to earth. I loved the small class size. You can learn all about hypnobirthing on your own BUT I highly recommend taking a class with an instructor that has utilized this technique in their own birth. Her real life experiences really put things in perspective for us. After taking her classes I felt more at ease and confident about labor. She also had MANY great resources for postpartum care which I utilized. She even took the time to reach out and support me in my postpartum journey when I had trouble breastfeeding. My only regret is that Alyssa was not my doula! I cannot reccomend her enough!

My husband and I took hypnobirthing classes with Alyssa in preparation for our first baby. She explained the entire process in a way that helped ease my mind about having a completely natural birth (no drugs!). She answered all our questions and the materials she gave us were very helpful. I was able to use the techniques she taught us to have the natural birth I wanted. It went so well that I dont feel like I can really relate to anybody who has gone through childbirth because I was so at ease and in control through my whole labor and delivery. Ive had stomach flus worse than birth and I have Alyssa to thank for that! I use the fear-tension-pain mantra now all the time with anything painful :) Take her class! Use her! You will be happy you did.

My wife and I thought that Alyssas HynoBirthing class was extremely well done and beneficial during the birth of our daughter. We were able to use so many of the tools we learned in class and had a successful unmedicated birth. We are so grateful to have taken the class and look forward to attending for our next child.

I was fortunate to have Alyssa as a midwife, doula, and hypnobirthing instructor. I knew I wanted to have a natural birth prior to even being pregnant. Once I found out I was pregnant I started to research the different classes for achieving an unmedicated birth. I had read so many testimonials and watched hypnobirthing videos that I decided that seemed like the best option. I found Alyssa through hypnobirthing and found out she also facilitated home births. I was interested in the possibility of birthing my child at home but my husband was on the fence. Alyssa came to our house and answered all our questions which really eased my husbands mind. All our appointments were relaxed and I could ask any and all the questions I had. Her hypnobirthing classes were very informative and gave me the tools I needed to birth our son. When it came time to deliver our son we did have to do a hospital transfer due to my blood pressure becoming elevated (my BP had been perfect throughout my pregnancy). Alyssa stayed with me until I delivered my son and really advocated for me to make sure I could still have the birth I desired even if it was outside of the home. She also came to check on me when we came home from the hospital and answer any questions I have. She is truly a great midwife and person. I would recommend any expecting mom in the East Valley to talk to her and consider home birthing as a option. I am so grateful she was with me through this experience.

Alyssas hypnobirthing class gave us the courage and confidence we needed to have the natural birth that we wanted! My husband and I were a bit skeptical of the term hypnobirthing before we took the class but by the end of the very first session we were sold. Through her class, Alyssa walks you through releasing your fears about child birth, gives you techniques for labor, and gives you a completely different perspective on the whole birthing process. I walked away from the class feeling like I can do this! and guess what? I did it! My son was 10lbs 3oz and I delivered him with no drugs using techniques from hypnobirthing. Im so glad I found Alyssa, theres no way I couldve done this without the knowledge she provided!

Alyssa was a total dream to work with! I found out about her Hypnobirthing classes and they were so helpful and informative. She is very good at explaining labor and birth without freaking you out! Lol! And she has this peace about her that makes her easy to talk to. My husband and I learned so much from her that I had a successful, natural birth using many methods we learned in her classes. I also had Alyssa encapsulate my placenta! She came and picked it up from the hospital very quickly and brought it back the next day! She is very caring and knowledgeable. You can tell that midwifery is her passion. I would recommend her to any expecting mother. My only regret is that she didnt deliver my baby too! If I have another, Ive already found my midwife!
