Lice Clinics of America is the best! I was struggling for months trying to find different at home treatments to get rid of it and stop it from coming back. When I found out my household had lice I was stressed and freaking out. I went in a Mel took care of us. She was very knowledgeable about lice and their habits. She offered pleasent conversation and assured we would not be back and that we were lice Free. Walking out of there I felt a sense of relief and Mel made my bad day better and kept me happy even while I was freaking out in the chair. Lice was crazy. We tried dealing with it ourselves and it was so much time and work. One kid had it so bad we decided to use professionals. Im so glad we did! 3 of our 4 kids still had knits (we thought only 1 would!) but they dont now! Further, we have a special needs kid and had to work around his schedule a little, they were great to work with! If we ever got lice again, I wouldnt even try myself, I would go right back.I should mention after they treat you, you have a 4 or 6 week guarantee and can come back for free if you get it again.

Was very stressed out over the whole situation. The ladies there were very reassuring and talked me through everything they were doing and I was able to see what they were doing as well. They were very kind and professional. The fact that I could leave there with my child lice free was so comforting. Would recommend them to anyone dealing with an itchy situation.

During an at home treatment, my husband had a tough time combing out my shoulder length, thick curly hair and ‘couldn’t see anything’ although I had found one live louse washing my hair. I emailed an appointment request to the Lice Clinics at about 10pm on Friday night. Martelle called me at 7:30am the next morning and was able to schedule an evaluation for 11 the same day.The clinic is clean and neat with a TV and a little play area for kids. I had no wait and sat down immediately after signing the paper to authorize treatment. She began by clipping up my hair and coming through the hair at the nape. After finding one nit, which she showed to me on a paper towel, she stopped and immediately turned on the Airalle. This felt like a warm blow dryer being directed at the hair root but was not too hot. After using the Airalle all over the head in small sections, Marlette completed a comb out to rid the hair of the dead nits. She finished the treatment with their non-toxic silicone oil all over my hair, which suffocates lice and most nits.Marlette was pleasant, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. She shared with me so many little tidbits of lice info I did not find in my many internet searches. The nits alone did not appear how they are depicted in images online.I purchased bottles of the silicone oil for home use on the boys in my family, who all have short hair and can be easily combed out by myself. Right after returning home I performed the same oil treatment on each of them and will repeat.When I first saw the price for Airalle, I said no way but I quickly realized it was money well spent for peace of mind! Here we are 3 weeks into the new school year and our 8th grader has picked up some lice! Having 3 daughters with long hair, this becomes a huge deal in our home.
