We were blown away by the doctor, best eye exam experience ever. She was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in us and our eye health. The people at the desk and the frames area were wonderful as well, taking care of every need and concern. While still not cheap, prices were better than in Winston-Salem.

Always great service, super friendly and fast. they replace some lenses I damaged within a week and swapped out the lenses while I waited. Great place with great people. Note: I also liked how the Doc actually listened to me about my vision and discussed in depth how I wanted to see, very cool.

I gave this office my current address and they did not change anything. I asked for my RX to be given to me before they left and they did not. They then sent my RX out to my old address even though I clearly gave them my current address. HIPPA violation. They also did not make me aware that the picture of my eyes was not a covered service by my insurance. This is something that the patient should be made aware of prior to services and they should have a signed waiver for Medicare patients.HOWEVER I did like the dr. The office staff are terrible.

It was my first time at the Lewisville office to see Dr. Tarr. The technician, receptionist, and all of the staff were beyond amazing. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Absolutely best experience that Ive had for a medical related appointment in a very long time. Exceptional! It was a bit difficult to complete the exam with the mask on and fogging issues but we managed and Dr. Tarr was so patient and took time to answer all of my questions and listen to my concerns.

I always come away from my appointments very pleased with my experienced and knowledgeable about my current vision health. I recently had an infection in one eye that was quite painful. Dr Lyerly resolved it quickly with a fast acting medication. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and personable.

This was my first visit with Dr. Tarr. He was friendly and knowledgable. He did a good job examining my eyes. Very pleased by the thoroughness and courtesy of both Dr. Tarr and his excellent staff.

I’ve had glasses since I was 8. I really like this office! I’ve seen Dr. Tarr for a couple years now and really appreciate that he listens and talks with you. He’s very personable and actually consults you rather than just talking at you. A couple of the assistants are not quite so personable- just kinda short (maybe they were having a bad day? 🤷🏼‍♀️), but I’m more concerned with who writes the prescription.

To start you can’t get them on the phone! I have called dozens of times with no answer - then was told that “we only have one phone line just keep trying”. I had to call for several DAYS to get throughNext, they are not honest about insurance coverages and what is covered! They tried to overcharge me but I called my insurance company and was told that the service was, in fact, covered by my insurance! I asked the office about the discrepancy and was told that I must have misunderstood the first time. I KNOW I didn’t “misunderstand “ as I was given a form to sign agreeing to pay the full amount out of pocket! Then I was told that the form wasn’t accurate and I would be charged a “discounted” amount; not the entire amount as stated??I will not go back!

Dr. Lyerly is the best! She will go above and beyond to make sure you can SEE :) Thanks for being creative with vision option, thinking beyond the usual and improving everyones view point ! Definitely recommend.

Dr. Tarr is Fantastic at getting my contact Prescription correct.....which is a hard task due to I am extremely nearsighted! Mailea is a wonderful technician!

I was worried about making an appointment here based on the past review but made it anyways after being referred by a friend. I am so glad I did. The office is beautiful, clean and modern. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and timely in treating me. Dr. Liverley was so sweet, professional and thorough. My husband accidentally gave me incorrect insurance information so the office had to process my claim two separate times and never once was I made to feel like it was an inconvenience to the staff. I was able to choose frames from a large selection of glasses that came in various prices for different budgets and the sweet assistant who helps with selection was kind enough to calculate the cost difference of various frames without me even asking. I will definitely be returning again and again with all my family members and would not hesitate to give this office an A+.

I received the worst service I have ever received at an eye doctor. I was lied to and over charged. I was told my son had ibsurance and everything but $38.00 was covered. They knew before my sons appointment that he had no insurance but chose not to tell me and then overcharged me. I was charged $200.00 when the cash price us $140.00. They are dishonest and I would not recommend them at all.
