My experience at Texas State Optical, Lewisville TX, has always been excellent. Today was no different. I was promptly greeted by Anson and Jim, as soon as I entered. Anson quickly got me checked in, followed by Jim completing my preliminary tests. Dr. Harrell did a thorough examination and Anson completed the closing process. I was completely satisfied and on my way within an hour. Thanks again team TSO-Lewisville!!

TSO is a great place to have your eyes checked. Friendly, competent and patient staff. Dr. Harrell is a very thorough doctor who explains each thing he does. We have been going to him since the early 90s.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Harrell for over 20 years now. The staff here is mostly the same people Ive known just as long. Everyone is professional, friendly and more than helpful.

I don’t typically go to the TSO in lewisville but I had to for an emergency situation this past Friday and I had such a great experience there. Everyone is really friendly and the appointment was quick and Dr. Harrell figured out the issue with my eye quickly. Can’t reccommend them enough!

I’ve been going to this place for around 2 years now and every time my experience kept getting worse. I recently went here for a checkup and a new prescription as well as to get fitted for contacts. The wait time was excruciatingly long for all of my visits and the staff seemed unprofessional since they constantly forgot information about the visit. Their computers are always down and they seemed unorganized. Don’t recommend this place.

I love this place. Its worth the money. I know i dont fit in there but you get what you pay for. I had metal in my eye and they took it out while doing an eye exam. And plus i like seeing lisa there. You can se her smile under her face mask and thats what we need these days

This is a great place for those of us that need glasses. I have been going here for around 20 years. Dr. Harrell is a very laidback Dr. and good at what he does. A lot of the staff have been there along time and really know what they are doing. They are all very personable and easy going. They have a great selection of frames and they are good with helping with the cosmetics of fit for sight and looks. Even though I moved out of Lewisville awhile back I still make it to back to visit them and have them check my vision. Highly recommend.

I was in a situation where I only needed one contact lens and walked in with my prescription. They were so awesome. Got it to me in under 2 mins and were very nice!!

Great experience & customer service!

TSO and Dr. Harrell have taken care of our family for 11 years. They do a thorough job and use up to date techniques and supplies. My four children have basically grow up going to him. He now helps keep them on track as college students. If we ever need any glasses adjusted or repaired or a change in contacts they do service as promptly as possible. The office is dated but I would rather see them spend money on the best equipment and not a fancy office.

Very good experience, super friendly staff and doctor

I had been using this place for about 7 years. I have been there once a month to every other month to pick up contacts. It blows my mind that anytime I have ever walked in the door, I have never received a warm welcome. No one has ever taken the time to remember my name (not that big of a deal but a smile and how are you would work). I have walked in on several occasions where they are in such a deep conversation within their group of coworkers that I have literally walked up to the counter and stood there before I got a response. The staff has been rude on many occasions. They have worked together forever and it shows because they are really comfortable with not changing their ways. The lack of courtesy is just unprofessional if you ask me. I am officially done going here.

Wonderful staff and doctor. I thought I had a torn contact in my eye and was panicking, but I did not still have the contact in my eye but had irritated my cornea trying to find the contact. I as placed right into the office and the doctor saw me immediately, helped calm my fears and helped with me receiving new contacts.

My family has been going to this office for 20+ years and everyone has always been great! One time we went to new doctor in Denton because It was closer to our home and they wanted my medical insurance as well as my eye insurance and it cost me a lot more than it ever did at TSO Lewisville. They are very good!

Doctors are great but front desk personal are super rude and unfriendly. Dont care about me Im used to racism and all that. ..but my girls
