The ladies at this location were super nice and respectful (even though they are short staffed they still provided a positive experience). The receptionist/exam lady was helpful and really got everything in order for the doctor. The doctor was also very nice. HUGE shout out to Ms. Rosa who helped me with figuring out the best way, with insurance, to get lenses, sunglasses lenses and a pair of glasses all at a reasonable price. She was very kind and personable and patient (I was one of those “takes a lot of time to help” customers).Thank you team America’s best in Lewisville!

If I could rate 0 I would. This place is rude. They don’t care once you pick up your glasses. I had 2 pairs done in May 2021, had a bad bring one back 3 times Bc my lenses keep falling off. I up graded and pay $360 ! Thought was good deal but I guess you pay for what you get! They are rude when asking about your glasses. Don’t waste your time coming here. Pay a little extra buy you’re get it done once.

I had an eye exam and bought 2 pairs of glasses yesterday, June 23, 2021. The service was great and the prices were excellent. I would discount any of the negative reviews in the past because the people that work there now are very good. Maybe in the past, former employees were not that good but this company is a great place to get an eye exam and buy new glasses.

I went in a few months ago and got glasses the customer service was ok. I had a screw come out of my glasses and took them in yesterday and Heather was amazing her customer service and attention to customer wishes was great. She payed attention to each customer that came in the store. Her attitude and willingness to help each person in a timely manner honestly impressed me. They were kind of busy but she made sure to speak to everyone and was there to help the emplyoees that had questions all while helping me. I would give this location my recommendation for great customer service. I will definitely be suggesting to anyone i know to come to this store. Thank you to Heather and her team for changing my ok opionion to a wonderful experience

STAY AWAY!!!! By far the worse! I recently had a death in my family so I’m in between Georgia & Texas. I explained that to Spencer (the sales person) and that I would need my glasses mailed to Georgia. He said that wasn’t a problem. Spencer was very concerned about going to lunch and paid no attention to detail. Apparently the entire office was concerned about lunch because they all left him there alone, and while he was assisting me with my order he was answering the phone and he had to restart his system multiple times. I ordered 2 completely different pairs of glasses with Spencer after taking my time to carefully pick out the ones I really liked. I paid my money and that was it. Fast forward to me now being in Georgia. I rushed over to pick up my glasses and when I get there, I noticed Spencer ordered me 2 of the same pair. Right away I contacted America’s Best Lewisville, TX and I was able to speak with Spencer who owned what he did and he gave an apology. He told me I could go to any America’s Best and pick out that pair again. The downside is, I CANT REMEMBER WHICH ONES I PICKED OUT. I asked them if they could send over the paper work of the original order and Spencer said because it was entered incorrectly on his part that he wouldn’t be able to do that. I asked for a refund and he tells me that he will have to speak to his manager and general manager & that his GM by the name of Judy will call me back that day or the following day. I’m still waiting for the call. I have contacted corporate at this point so I’m waiting on them. If you aren’t trying to go to hell early or anytime soon then go pass to and collect 200. Simply said, RUN!!!!

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The optometrist rushed through my eye exam which lasted all of 7 minutes!! His handwriting is just as rushed. I’ve never received a hand written prescription for glasses/contacts. As much as people are moving away from paper medical records this was confusing. Why don’t you enter this don’t electronically? I wanted to order glasses online but couldn’t make out the SPH. I called and asked if they could verify the number and was told I had to come in. So I go in and I’m told they are busy it would take 20-25 min. So no one can read this mess that works here other than the doctor? How do you order glasses/contacts for others? Save your time and money. I would recommend Costco, Target , even Walmart over this place.

Im new to Lewisville and my co-worker suggested Americas Best. She had great service and I thought Id give it a try. I had my appt. today and was blown away by the care from start to finish. Spencer did my pre-exam. He was very respectful and courteous and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Lee gave me a thorough eye exam and discussed the health of my eyes. Lastly, Rosie helped me pick out two pair of gorgeous glasses. Shes absolutely amazing. She was very open about cost, what my options were, and just all around amazing service. She was the icing on my first time eye care experience with Americas Best. I would highly recommend this store location for the quality care and service if you are in the area. Rosie is also worth the visit. Shell take great care of you!! :)

I waited almost 4 weeks for my single vision glasses. They used another persons insurance with there name on my order. I finally got someone to help me with the issue, but then got a phone call saying I owed them more money because they had to do my insurance again even though it was there mistake. I told them that I I should not have to pay.Then one of the frames had a slight scratch so they sent it back for a redo and got glasses back and now they are scratched more than they were the first time. Front receptionist was very polite, but the lady in the back that handles billing seemed like she had a bit of an attitude. I will never step foot in that place again. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Incompetent Rosie Cross is in a medical profession and is clueless & uneducated about health insurance, she does not go above and beyond to research or consider researching, by contacting the insurance provider for verification, instead she becomes argumentative & unprofessional & not courtesy in front of a office full of customers. In addition, Rosie Cross printed out & gave my daughter the wrong prescription receipt, under the name of Javonn Branch instead of her prescription receipt - Please define HIPAA VIOLATION to Rosie Cross... To include, Rosie boss Ms Judy, excellent manager, very professional, ask Rosie Cross to complete a task & she was very definite. 5 years in the business for Rosie Cross seems more like 9 months. Please improve with time or retire.....,my organization offers Customer Service Classes all the time Ill be happy to have you.FYI: Rosie Cross you are the face of the organization when a customer enters the building - greet the customer with a smile & carry yourself professional & courtesy....

Customer Service is horrible. Nobody greets you when you walk in. I was also told today that they do not take in walk ins. When last week I walked in and told me to hold on. They copied my prescription and I waited for about 30 mins until my husband told us me to leave since it was very busy. Very inconvenient to waste gas. I’ll take my business else where.

I was asked if I had insurance. I told her yes. She rung up the price. I asked her did she use insurance she said “I’m sorry I forgot and your insurance probably wouldn’t cover much, so just use our special” instead of her checking my insurance because they were so busy!I got home and checked my insurance. My insurance would’ve covered the exam and the glasses I paid for at 100%. I waited 10:30am-12pm to be seen. I was rushed. Make this place your last resort.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! My first time going there wasnt really what I expected. It took longer than what I thought and I noticed the receptionists doesnt really put much care nor attention to what they are doing. Bilingual girls that do speak the language Spanish act like they dont want to help those that dont understand very well English. Receptionist and other staff had me waiting almost 30 min for somebody to get back from lunch to help me order my new pair of glasses. I took my mom there after this for an eye exam and there was lack of interest between the receptionists, they did not tell the doctor that my mom needed translation to understand better and ask all the questions she really needed to ask about the problem with her left eye. They made us come back to just give her some lubricant eye drops that are really no help for the issue she has and not a prescription for drops for the irritation. Never going back again if I could rate it No Star I would! Im just waiting on my two pairs of glasses now that were payed for already.

TL;DR: they ruined my glasses, I have to pay for it.March 8, 2021: I went in to adjust my glasses. That was it. And whoever helped me ruined my lenses into what looks like a spiderweb of tiny cracks and never made a note of it. They promised full repairs with the original prescription in the system and said they would reach me with an email or phone call for me to pick it up when it was ready.March 30, 2021: I called to see if my new lenses were ready only to be put on hold 3 times by different people and have a fourth person tell me that the entire staff was changed between the 22 days. Apparently nobody left a note about their mistake regarding my glasses and Im just left to dry. Had I been anymore patient, I would have just been left to wait for eternity. Nobody there did it so it was Nobodys fault. Yes of course.April 1, 2021: I speak with the general manager who tells me that she will have the lenses replaced but I will need to pay the extra $50 for the eye exam.Wow. Just wow. Why shouldnt Americas Best pay for it since Americas Best hired incompetent workers and ruined a customers glasses that they bought from YOUR STORE?Im baffled by the awful customer service. Im hurt that my beautiful glasses which I paid EXTRA for is damaged. I shouldnt have gone there in the first place.Find a different glasses store. They dont care about you if you arent paying each time you walk in.

I went there back in April for my first eye exam which was a fair price for me and came home with fittings eye contact lenses and back two weeks later and gave me a trial lenses. They told me they’ll gave me two packages and will call me back after 10 business days but never did. I called back and saying it may take 4-6 weeks but it already pass. I called back earlier and they told me she would have given to me at the day since they have it but not before. Now she said they have to ring it back up because they have no idea how did this happen now I have to wait and pay again because it will messed up my insurance.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! They have the most incompetent staff in the front desk. My mother had an appointment with them and her English isn’t the best, so she asked for translation. She was not helped with it, so she ended up having to come into the office again because of lack of interest from the staff to let the doctor know she was going to need someone to translate for her. After the second appointment the doctor was upset with my mother because she “apparently” never let him know she had a language barrier when my mother had already told his staff that she needed translation and they deliberately ignored it. Leaving from the appointment my mother asked the Spanish speaking receptionist a question to which she ignored TWICE so we ended up just leaving. We won’t ever be going back to this place and I won’t be recommending either.

The service you get here is not worth a darn to say it nicely. I will never do business with these people ever again. I went in for glasses and contacts, the dr. is friendly enough but the other areas of the business is not very good at all. I got my contacts but they said my glasses will be in a certain day. Well that day came and went. I called back and they said they will look and did not call me back. I called back and they said that they cant find them and they will try to expedite them if they cant find them. Service is not very good.

Ill never use Americas Best again. I paid about $200 for a flimsy pair of glasses and had to visit the location 4 times before I could receive the correct prescription! Beware that you will be charged per eye for everything, the Rx per eye and any upgrades per eye. The first time I went into the office to get the glasses I could not see anything. The Dr. decided to go with a strength lower that I have been using and the lady who marked where my eye was apparently did not do it correctly. I also noticed another pair that I liked better and the quality of the frame seemed better so I decided to trade. That trade came with a refund which could not be done without the manager and she was on a lunch break. I came back when my glasses were in at 10am and was told the manager is on a lunch break for another hour and a half. I called before I came the next time and was told when to come in, came in and she was on a lunch break again! This is the same woman that did not mark the glasses properly in the first place. Also, her cigarette smell is offensive in such a small location. I went to run errands and came back 2 hours later to find her outside smoking a cigarette and nothing was prepared for the refund. I had to wait again because the paperwork needed was with the Dr, in a room, during a visit. I can mention that the receptionists and other ladies that help to send in your Rx are very nice and helpful, other than that my whole experience was dreadful. I was expecting a $40 refund from the price differences on the wall and only got $12, if I knew what I was going to get back was so low I would not have wasted my time and gas to keep coming back multiple times. They could have kept it.

Americas worst is a more suitableTitle for this company! I came in thismorning with a pair of eye glassesbecause they had broken on mejuggling kids. I speak to the receptionist and she states that thereis nothing that can be done. Shespeaks with the manager and then tellme since I didnt purchase the properwarranty protection, there wasnothing to be done.... I purchased thispair of eye glasses 8 months ago. Ispent top dollar, $396.00 on a Non-Name Branded pair of glasses toupgrade the lenses to better see. Ihighly suggest NOT going to thelocation in Lewisville! There is nocustomer service. No one went aboveand beyond to ensure I was satisfied.Igave them 1 star because zero starswas not an option. Terrible, terribleexperience in a retail environment.

All I want is my glasses. They initially entered the prescription in wrong and I ended up with reading glasses. I was told that they would send the off to be corrected and it seems like its taking them forever to get my glasses in. This is the worst experience Ive every had at Americans Best. 4 weeks in total and have no glasses.

Pricing was good and the doctor was informative and honest. When I went in to pick up my glass and sunglasses from them they both ended up being made wrong. The lady I spoke with said she would try and expedite the order, but it’s taking about the same amount of time. I’d like to be able to drive and wear sunglasses and still be able to see clearly. When I called to check on the status another lady told me that they can’t promise for an order to be expedited since the manufacturer is out of state.How about not even mentioning the expedite in the first place?!

Would definitely read reviews before I even schedule an appointment with any other location! Especially if its for health purposes. I just assumed it will be as great as how they make it sound thru the phone. Customer service will be great if it was as good as their Managers! She is very friendly and definitely can interact with anyone no matter the age! I received a new eye contact lens prescription and was not even offered to try them on if I needed to. I mean just to confirm if the prescription is the correct one! One thing is the test and the other is when you have them on! I asked the young lady at the front Dont I need to try them on? she just said you can if you want, you can walk to the back and we have a try on area. Interesting. Very dissatisfied with the service of Americas Best! I guess some businesses rely on what type of insurance you have/or if you have any insurance /money and based off that is the customer service. Never again Americas Best Lewisville!

Every single member of the staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The exam rooms, waiting area, glasses gallery, and work stations are neat and clean.The retail pricing beats anything Ive ever seen with vision insurance. And the quality of the glasses from the lab is excellent! Ive already referred friends and family to this specific location because they live up to their name, Americas Best.

I have been there 2ce - First time was back in February to get my prescription renewed for my eye glasses, overall I had a good experience, got out of there with a renewed script, however the computers were down and they were almost not willing to take down my insurance information.I went back yesterday to get contact lenses. I was in and out pretty quick, however Dr. Li has given me a prescription that is NOT working for me at all and declared that I have to wear them a week. I have asked all my associates whom wear contacts if they have had this problem and none of them have. I have set an appointment to go back today - hopefully they will give me the correct prescription or I will be asking for a refund on my exam so that I can go else where - also the lady that gave me the contacts did not listen to me yesterday when I told her they are not correct and I see even worse with them on.

I went to get new pair of glasses and the service I got at first was great, last time I came here service was great, but today it suck. The person who took care of me get close with an attitude from the Beginning till the end, someone else has to come and gave her a hand to try to explain something easy to me. Did not like the testing worker Perla, she is very stand-offish and non chalant and would clearly rather be somewhere else. She was very rude and made me feel like she couldn’t wait to rush me away. This was my first time at America’s Best. I went here because the reviews were higher than the other locations. When we first arrived the woman at the front named Perla had horrible customer service and didn’t know how to work with kids at all. First off she made hardly any eye contact handed me some papers then walked off and started gossiping about some issue she had earlier in the day. She was very rude and seemed irritated that my 10 year old daughter was afraid to put her head on the machine. Rolled her eyes and said can u hold her head. I stayed to complete the service solely because my daughter has bad eye sight and her glasses were broken but it was so bad I almost walked out. Luckily we didn’t have to deal with her anymore after and the doctor and the gentleman at the front had way better service and knew how to deal with children. If it wasn’t for them I would have given a 1 star review. I will say the prices are amazing and they even have more prestige brand glasses for better prices. I would say this representative should not be at the front desk as perception is everything and this location would have gotten a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the first impression and experience I got walking through the door. Overall great prices, good doctor, bad receptionist and pre eye exam.

They were great. Lost a lense from my glasses and had to get new glasses. The manager worked with me in cost so I was able to get one pair as a pair of Sun glasses. My only complaint is they took too long to come in. I will use them again for sure!

The worst place ever. Couldnt get the prescription right from the begin. Complete screwed up one of the two pair of glasses that I had bought. Couldnt get contact lens prescription right. Had to go to another locate they finally ordered a new pair of glasses. Now came back in to exchange the contacts that they sold me that was wrong, all they had to do is read the right prescription, and order them. After two weeks of waiting for my lens. That was supposed to be in 1 week. Got the wrong contacts now they are telling me I have to wait another week to get the right ones.

Staff is really nice. Last time i was here, a guy did the pre tests and stuff and he was super cool. This time a girl did my tests and she was like, really rude. I didn’t get a name or anything but like i asked her a question about my insurance and she’s like “i don’t know bout all that, thats all you. You need to do that yourself, call your HR.” Just felt like that was rude. Like i don’t think she wanted to be there at all man

Extremely irritated with my service at this location. I took my son to get a pair of glasses on March 30th. My son is still without glasses. Their excuse as to why his glasses have not come in was They were to busy and forget to send them to the lab. When I asked the manager if he could put a rush on the glasses due to their mistake his response was Ill see.

Absolutely do not like Dr. LEE THE CRAZY asian eye dr. He is never happy, rude and it is very obvious he does not care. The office staff is usually ok. However this is the only dr. On staff. I do not reccomend this location. I have purchased contacts her and had several eye exams for follow up. Currently I have a eye infection, dr. Lee didnt even look at my eye, he says I see I see, uh huh I see. Put saline drops in eye you ok. Went to another eye dr. I have a very bad eye infection.

For the past 6 years Ive had to wear RX eyewear - NOT - fun. My first 5 yrs have been with LensCrafters & Visionworks so on April 9th 2017 my expensive eyeglasses went MIA and I was left no choice but to try Americas Best. Today was a great success: purchased 2 RX glasses (progressive lenses - nearsighted - farsighted - astigmatism - night blindness), normal price with DR. visit is normally over $850 but at Americas Best everything was $270. The associates Maria & Sharon were extremely patient, kind & helpful to make sure I was pleased with my purchase before completing my final decision & transaction :) You must give them a whirl & know it takes 7 to 10 business days to receive your glasses but if youre ALL about saving money especially over $550 worth... than 7-10 business days is definitely worth the wait.

I do not recommend them, they are inefficient, irresponsible, false and the manager does not even have knowledge of how to fix the refunds.I bought my glasses and they didnt fit so I had to return them.I have been waiting for my refund for more than three months and still no response. (When they do it in less than a week) Supposedly, they were going to send it to my mailbox and nothing.
