I have been seeing this doctor as needed for 4 years and he has an excellent bedside manner. He has a pleasing personality, listens to what I have to say, and helps me to decide the right treatment for my individual situation. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Also, he looks at doing things as non-invasive as possible as opposed to pressuring me into having surgery.

Dr Koreckij is very personable. He listens to your concerns. And my procedure is healing nicely. Im looking forward to PT so I can get back to ALL daily activities.

I broke my leg about 6 mo ago. I was ambulanced to St. Luke’s Hosp @ the Plaza. Dr Koreckji took care of me & determined the appropriate surgical method to fix the leg. I don’t think the surgery began until about 1 am. It was quite a long night. He has seen me for all my aftercare & just recently I had 2 screws trying to back out of the rod in my leg, so he did a quick surgical procedure & removed the top 2 screws. Both surgeries went smoothly and I would trust him to do another one. But hopefully won’t need anything else. 🤗

Dr. Koreckij and staff were very professional and thorough. I felt they had my health and best interests in mind in the things they did during my visit. The doctor explained well my x-rays and MRI and what he planned to do.

Started with the Urgent Care for back pain. Xrays showed arthritis. Suggested I see Dr K. When I saw him it had been over 4 weeks since I had twisted my back. It was feeling better. He pointed out an old fracture & a possible new one. Due to the current health climate we decided to keep hands off unless pain returns

Had my first appointment with Dr.Koreckij last week. Very impressed with whole facility, everyone was very nice and helpful. Dr. Koreckij was very nice, explained everything so I could understand. Took the time to answer my questions.

I saw Dr Koreckij for neck pain. I did not appreciate the way my appointment went. I felt that he was very distant, uninterested and uncaring. He didn’t really ask me any questions regarding the pain, he didn’t test any of my ranges of motion, he didn’t feel any parts of my neck. I brought in a CD with an X-ray from earlier this year and they insisted I get another one. Both of which he barely even looked at. He didn’t offer me any advice for treating the pain or how to alleviate the pain or anything to try at home to make the situation better. Referred me to PT and left the room.

I was in unbearable pain. Dr. Koreckij recommended a microdiscectomy. My sciatica was completely gone right after surgery. I understand the Drs conveyance of the situation. Im not convinced that surgery isnt an option to alleviate the constant pain from my L4/L5-S1 sciatic nerve. Something is pressing on it to make the pain more intense daily. Im going to pursue another option through the VA at the clinic in Columbia.

Went to the doctor with extreme back pain that prevented me from sleeping more than a few hours a night after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment. After reviewing my MRI, he told me what was not the source of the pain but offered no other explanation other than must be muscle pain. His diagnosis on my referral to physical therapy was thoracic pain. Yeah, I knew that.

This was my initial consultation. Dr. Koreckij seemed very knowledgeable and showed me issues other surgeons had not discussed with me. He was very friendly and took time to explain what needed to be done to correct my back problems

What can you say about a man that changed your life? I’m 32, I’m active every single day, and I want to maintain an active lifestyle. Last year, my back was to the point where a couple days a month I had to crawl out of bed. I was getting over 10,000 steps a day, and now lucky to get 500. I went to Dr. Koreckij Because he was recommended by an orthopedic surgeon friend of mine.Ted from the start, wanted to help me. What I appreciate about him, was that he doesn’t want to operate on you just to get his numbers up. He Is a doctor, because he wants to help people. From past experience, I can say this is not always the case.When you are 32, everyone will tell you to never have back surgery. It will only lead to more back surgeries. Ted was very diligent and letting me know the statistics. 90% of candidates like me never have to be touched again with a knife.He got me in, and consulted me several times before we ever did the surgery. Seven weeks after the surgery, I can honestly say I have not felt this good since I was in my 20s. I’m running 3 miles a night, and averaging over 10,000 steps with very minimal pain, if any.Dr. Koreckji, I simply cannot thank you enough for giving me my life back. Thank you so much, you are a good man, and your father (also an ortho surgeon) should be very proud of you.

During my appointment with Dr. Koreckij, I found him to be very professional, explaining surgery options with great detail and answering all questions I had.

I went to Dr. Koreckji being told by another surgeon that I would need surgery on my lower back and that it would need to be done through the front and then a second surgery through the back. After talking to Dr. Koreckji for a few moments he looked at my xrays and MRI and said he could fix the issue with only one surgery. I was so relieved that I scheduled surgery that day. I am now 2 weeks post op and cannot be more happy that I had him do my surgery. I no longer have any pain radiating down my legs and my incisions have healed. I have a large tattoo that he had to go right through the center of. You cant even tell that he went through it. Dr. Koreckji and his team are amazing and he has the best bedside manner. I highly recommend him to anyone looking at having spine surgery!

I highly recommend Dr. Koreckij. No only do I appreciate his expertise in orthopedic spinal care/surgery, but especially appreciate his willingness to answer questions and explain procedures. Thank you Dr Koreckij for fixing my broken femur. I dont know how you did it t but within 5 months I am off my cane and walker and on the mend. Breaking a leg is horrible but I put my full faith in Dr. Koreckij and he did a fabulous job. His staff is so kind and attentive and office visits are prompt. Currently attending physical therapy which is most beneficial in establishing and gaining the strength back to the buttocks, hamstrings, glutes, quadriceps. I am very pleased with the surgery and the consultation, input and time taken by Dr. Koreckij explaining expectation in the coming months. I have moved from using the walker to a cane and now walking on my own. Walking is the best exercise.It has been 1 year since the surgery. I met with Dr. Koreckij a week ago where he spent a lot of time discussing expectations. I feel very good and glad I chose the K to do the surgery. The only issue I currently have is on the right side of the back, in particular the Psoas Major muscles and tightness in the small of the spine. Dr. K advised that based on the severity of the surgery it will take time to heal. My comment is if one does not walk daily or initiate some type of physical activity on a daily basis to keep the muscles loose you will have issues. Dr K advised to keep doing what I’m doing but be cognizant of the fact that lve progressed to the point I will just have to live with the tight/stiffness. Haven’t requested muscle relaxers yet but a heating pad and relaxing laying flat on the back for 45 minutes each day helps immensely. Barton line, I feel very good and will deal with the stiff muscles.
