Very professional from the beginning. Scott is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything before and after the procedure. He takes the time to answer every question so that I have a better understanding. I have complete trust in him and would recommend him to my family and friends. His nurse is very good as well. She removed the stitches as we casually chatted. She was finished before I knew she started. She is great at answering questions as well.

Dr Ellsworth is great!! He fixed my current, past, and potential future issues with manageable pain. His bed side manner is wonderful! He really cares. He listened to me and considers my suggestions. I have told a few people who have asked where I went to get my procedures done, and I will continue to tell others. I suffered a rare injury, complete pectoralis major tear (from bone), this last May and Dr. Ellsworth performed the surgery which placed an anchor on my humerus and reattached the tendon to the anchor. Not only did he do a fantastic job with the procedure, which left me with a clean minimal scar, he also understood the urgency of doing the operation as those suffering this injury should have reattachment within two weeks of the initial injury.

Dr Ellsworth is one of the best doctors. He pays very close attention and listens very well. He helped me make the best decision possible when it came down to my care. Thank you sir for your dedication

I was referred to Dr. Ellsworth for a second opinion on my shoulder after having been mis-diagnosed by another KC-orthopedic urgent care facility. Dr. Ellsworth invested the time in figuring out what was wrong with my shoulder, although it required several follow-up appointments and my willingness to do additional tests and try certain things. He ultimately made the correct diagnosis -- which was the same as his initial inclination at my first visit -- and today (5 months after first seeing him) I can move so much better than I have been able to for the last year or more!

Twice now I feel that I was treated with respect and that Dr. Ellsworth conducted a through review, and exam. When he explains what is going on, he does so in a manner that one can understand. He will make recommendation and let you decide just how far you want to go with it. Hopefully my issue resolves, but if a different one arises, Ill definitely see Dr. Ellsworth.

I am very thankful for being referred by St. Louis Barnes Jewish hospitals, Dr. Chamberlain. I was told that he wouldnt refer me or have me see anyone but Dr. Scott Ellsworth.So, I made an appointment and saw him on Jan 8th. He informed me that I needed to be careful least I fall and break my arm on the elbow replacement that I was needing fixed. So I left and he was going to see me again when he got a game plan figured out.One week later, I trip over a toy and shatter my humerus on that arm. Needless to say, it was a really long, little over a month of waiting for surgery.The surgery was awesome. Even now just 3 weeks out, it feels brand new and ready to go. Not so much for the break, its healing... Slowly.Dr. Ellsworth has been very kind through everything. He has explained questions I have had so I understood and always with kindness. (Im a talker so he endured a lot.) He even had to call me a few times because I live 3hours away.The fact is, you can do no wrong by seeing Dr. Ellsworth. I would send my children. He is the best of all my previous Drs. Thank you, so much!!

Dr Ellsworth continues to be my best doctor. He is professional and friendly, easy to talk with,and a good listener. He fully answers all of my questions and explains his recommendations. I am confident that my upcoming shoulder surgery will improve my wellbeing.

From the receptionist to the nurse checking for Covid to the Surgeon, all are professional, polite, friendly and show true interest in my health. The Surgeon does everything to make sure that I am aware of everything involved in my surgery. So so happy that I was able to have Dr Ellsworth fix me up !!!

Dr. Ellsworth was very prompt, in good spirits, answered my questions and remembered I had recently had my second covid vaccine and asked me how did it go. He put me at ease and was very patient preparing me for my injection. He reiterated my options with timelines. He even spent a few minutes chitchatting with me which I really appreciated because I was nervous about the injection. I felt bad that I forgot to wish him Happy Belated Birthday.

Dr Ellsworth did not leave me waiting and was very pleasant. He answered all of my questions and was very knowlegable. His concern was for me to have pain relief and he gave me an injection for that. He listens. He explained what was happening to my body that cause the pain. I would see him again.
