I went to Dr. Mark winston for a 2nd opinion. It was easy to find his office. The receptionist was efficient professional. Once I sat down and spoke with Dr. Winstons nurse practitioner she explained everything to me and showed me my MRI relating to my injuries. I had a much better understanding of what was going and felt so much better when I left. Great experience.

Dr. Winston was excellent! I broke my wrist - completely. It was a fall while playing pickleball (really wish I hadnt done that). Dr. Winston operated on me about five days after my break and had to put in a plate and three screws. Im now about three months post surgery and was just released by Dr. Winston. He thinks Im about 80% healed. Im still working with O.T. (also excellent at KC Orthopedic Institute) and already playing pickleball again. Im so thankful for the skill and expertise of Dr. Winston to put me back together! In addition to being a great surgeon, he also has a very warm and caring personality. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Winston’s review of my condition and recommendation for least invasive treatment was thorough and quick. A week later and I have relief from once-present pain that was limiting me from doing things. Confidence in knowing I saw the right doctor for my needs.

Saw primary care one week and they called a week later and was seen the next week. For a specialist I think that this is fast for a non life or death issue. Was seen within minutes of my appointment. He ordered 2 different hand braces for me. I was worked in by the therapy staff quickly. I would refer others to him.

This is the second time I have had a broken bone in less than 2 years due to falls. I saw Dr Winston for my right hand and wrist before and this time, he treated my left shoulder fracture. I’m still in PT, but making progress. I’m not an easy case, I have several medical problems that do sometimes complicate things. Dr Winston is always kind, caring and takes time to listen and fully examine the area of injury.

Dr Winston, and everyone I have been in contact with at Dickson Dively, has been professional, kind, helpful and calming. Dr. Winston is highly skilled, and really listen to his patients. This guy works magic. Basically 100% back with arm and grip strength for me to still work on. Professional football teams come to Dr. Winston for his expertise! Dr. Winston was very thorough in investigating cause of pain at base of each thumb -- x-rays and discussion on routine activities. Provided me with several alternatives for action, or none, as I preferred. I decided to have cortisone injection at base of each thumb to reduce pain for however long it might help. Injections were momentarily painful (2-3 seconds) and later int he day I took Tylenol for pain. Very appreciative and satisfied with Dr. Winstons professional yet personal approach and outcome of office visit.

Dr. Winston is an excellent surgeon. He operated on my arm after getting a significant break in my right arm due to an automobile accident. His surgical procedures far out rate any surgeries I have had in the past. He did the surgery with very little scarring. Dr. Winston is a very empathetic & skilled surgeon. I had a horrific break to my left elbow & torn tricep tendon. He was able to successfully repair the break & reattach the tendon. Dr. Winston was AMAZING! I went in one day later in the afternoon for him to look at a broken finger and he had me in surgery the very next morning! Not eve 24 hours after my consultation with him, I was home post surgery. After my post-op appt he decided my healing would be o ly 3-4 weeks instead of the 6 he thought. The other doctor he works with (i forget her name) is also AMAZING! Going back into surgery i saw her right before I went under and not expecting her to be present for the surgery, it gave me calmed my anxiety down tremendously. I could not be happier with the doctors, nurses, and all other who helped me with this surgery! Highly recommend Winston and his team for sure!

Time will tell upon healing, but we believe Dr. Winston has done everything possible to help an issue that he didnt create. He is attentive, personable, and I believe a very fine doctor. Now the process is in Gods hands.

Good listener and knowledgeable. One improvement that I would suggest is to provide patients with all notes of all follow up steps to be taken, not just the follow up that needed referral to another service such as PT.

Everyone I encountered at Dixon Diveley was terrific - a very professionally staffed office through and through.My only comment is that for a small cyst removal on my pinky finger, my outpatient surgery became a major ordeal. Mountains of paperwork to fill out and sign and at least 4 phone calls from the Dixon Diveley office for scheduling and insurance card information. The day of surgery I was supposed to check in 2 hours early. Several nurses worked with me before it was time for my surgery. To my surprise I had to wear a hospital gown and hair covering and was wheeled back to the operating room in a wheel chair! I feel this was over the top. For my outpatient surgery I expected to be wearing street clothes while sitting in a chair in Dr. Winstons office. I am sure the hospital bills will reflect the fine services I received. Yikes!

I hurt my pinky several months ago! Had an X-ray done and the radiology report came back saying I didnt have any fractures or anything broken at another facility through another Dr. Something didnt seem right about that report to me because I had lots of pain and swelling so I took my X-rays to an orthopedic to look over and explain to me why Im in so much pain but all he did was tell me Id benefit from hand therapy, so I completed hand therapy and rather than improving it became worse.After searching the internet for a new Orthopedic I came across Dr. Winston 5 star reviews and had to see him for a second opinion and sure enough my instincts were right! He looked at my X-rays and told me I had a fracture! I took new X-rays just to make sure and now due to the negligence of the Radiologist and first Orthopedics misdiagnosis I may need surgery.Had it not been for Dr. Winston I would still be in the dark about all this. At least now I can move forward with a proper course of action to healing my pinky. Who knew something so small could cause so much pain.I highly recommend Dr. Winston to anyone looking for answers and solutions.

Winston has a great personality and was great with my wrist injury, it healed with no issues. I had a second injury to my right ring finger and still have problems with it today which is why I am giving a 3 star- rating since I do not have full functionality and am disappointed with that.
