The optometrist was very nice but some of the staff not so much. They never contacted me to tell me my contacts arrived. When I did finally get them a month late they ordered 3 boxes for my right eye and 1 box for my left eye when It should have been 2 boxes for each. I had to take one box back before they would order the correct box. They again said they would contact me when the correct box arrived. That was over a month ago and I still havent heard anything. Me and my wife will never go back there again.

I wanted to give a shout out to Chris! I came in with my sister who has special needs. Sometimes, sales associates are uncomfortable with her, as she has seizures and what not, but Chris treated her like any other human being. He was able to joke around with her and make her feel comfortable, which made her trust his opinions for the frames. So, thank you so much, Chris!!!

I paid over 200 for a pair of glasses last year and they got the prescription wrong and never offered to fix it. Instead they blamed my eye disease. Now i tracked the new glasses which said they were ready, but when i called store they claimed they werent ready. Said they would be there the next day. No call.. Now the holiday is here so they decided to leave it for Tuesday I guess. The email they sent to track the glasses is no longer showing up. Why? Because they have them at the store. Will never return, will never recommend this place.

Absolute worst customer service. I have tried on 3 attempts to be seen. Each time a different issue. The first 2 times Ive made Appts online, arrived in store only to be told my appts were not confirmed. Today I got stuck in traffic and was 7 minutes late, I tried called the store 13 min prior to arrival and no one would answer. The yound lady told me the phones never rang so it mustve been routed somewhere else. I was unable to be seen. I will take my money and business elsewhere. Unbelievable.

My wife and daughter had eye exam today. Wife tried to provide insurance that should be billed to rep he insisted on billing insurance that had higher co-pays. The guy had no clue what he was doing. If he would have billed the correct insurance there would be no co-pays. Last time at this place the rep tried to charge us almost $500 for contacts after insurance. We decided to take script elsewhere and our out of pocket for contacts was $5.

Lost my glasses. Had an appt already scheduled and ordered new glasses (and sunglasses) They rushed them for me and got them in a week. Everything and everybody was great until I got the glasses. I could not see properly with them (both). I agreed to wear 24 hours to make sure it wasn’t an adjustment problem. After that time I identified that either the left lense was defective, or the prescription was wrong. I had to schedule a recheck. They could not give me anything sooner than a week out. Apparently there is no flexibility or pre planning to address their mistakes in a timely manner. Now I am forced to wear glasses I can’t properly see out of for an additional week and will most likely have to wait even longer to get it corrected. I have a problem with this and how it was handled.Also, it took multiple people to find my glasses when I picked them up and they seemed surprised I got a voice message that they were in. I really wish I would have read these reviews before going there, it seems that there are quit a number of repetitive problems that don’t seem to get resolved.

Multiple bad experiences at this location. Management is always different, which says something. Today we were turned away for not confirming an appointment but didnt get an email, text, or phone call to be able to confirm. This happened before Covid as well. Today we were told well you should have received it and offered to wait to see if the next person doesnt show up. The doctor is the only reason we kept coming back, so its a shame the rest of the staff is poorly trained or maybe it is the company itself. I have never left a bad review and unfortunately this place is so awful, other people should be warned.

I believe it was the manager I informed that I was there to pick up my glasses, I was told that I needed to sit in the waiting room with everybody else. I told her that I was just there to pick up my glasses, I did not need a fitting or any other service and she said that I had to wait just like everybody else. About 10 minutes after I was seated another customer came in to pick up her glasses and was promptly serviced by another employee.And then when the manager finished up with her customer I watched her go behind the counter and start doing busy work while I still sat there waiting to be served. I finally approached the desk and when I did she turned to me all sweet like and said oh, are you ready to be helped? And I said Ive been sitting here waiting to be helped. So she retrieved my glasses which happened to be 2 away from where she was standing, asked me if they were for me I told her yes, and she asked me if I needed them fitted and I said no these are all the same things I told you when I came in. I grabbed my glasses out of her hand and as I was walking out the door her parting shot to me was have a good evening.The level of unprofessionalism that I experienced in this store from the manager is absolutely ridiculous. And Im not afraid to admit that I may have told her to go f*ck herself.

I have been going to this particular Visionworks for the last 4 years, and they have been incredible each time. I never have an issue with scheduling, ordering contacts or new glasses, or any issues with the staff. The eye doctor is soooo friendly and remembers me every time, and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! I drive 20 minutes or so out to get here each time and I’d drive further for their services because of how great they are. Thank you!

My wife I both visited for the first time last month, we were given tele-medicine appointments without really knowing, which our insurance doesnt cover. Following the exam, the experience went quickly down hill. We both had the same associate assist in ordering glasses and she clearly was inexperienced. We were both about 90 mins to order 2 pairs of glasses. Surprisingly, mine seem okay, my wifes were just returned because she could barely see out of them. I would look for an eyeglass store with better trained staff and management.UPDATE: After returning her glasses for a refund and visiting another vision center, my wife was also told by the optician that she should have her eyes rechecked, she returned to Visionworks and they confirmed that they had added a prism when none was needed...

Where should I start.......I made appointments for both my husband and myself. It was over month till we could get in and our times were right after each other. We got stuck in traffic while on our way there at 2pm. we get there 5 minutes late and are informed at check in that since we were late, they could only take 1 of us and the other would have to reschedule. Sure............whatever! Being the good wife, i let my husband go. We get it all done and pick up our glasses a week later. There are issues with them and tried stopping in the store and they were busy and basically shussed us out the door. 3 weeks later, i am still trying to get hold of someone at this location. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE.......YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!

Sadly, I must give my experience at Visionworks Mill Creek only one star. My time with the eye doctor was wonderful. I would give him 5 stars if I could. My experience with some of the other employees was less than desirable. It took over half an hour for me to order my contacts. The woman who was helping me was kind, but she seemed to be rather inept at navigating what I perceived as a clumsy computer system. This entire process taxed my patience and was extremely frustrating. I left the building with assurance that my order would be shipped directly to my house. About two weeks later I received a text alert that my contacts were ready for pickup. Rather than add confusion, I just drove over and picked them up. There, on the receipt they handed me, was a highlighted note: Ship to home, no charge. This was either ignored or not noticed by someone in the system.Heres my advice: Have an eye appointment with Dr. Skolnick, but then run out of that building as quickly as possible. Get your glasses and contacts somewhere else.

Cant say anything but good things about this place! I got lucky to get an appt last minute after someone else canceled. Every single person we met with was very polite and fun from the moment we walked in. Me & My husband had such a great time interacting with them that it didnt even feel like an appointment we were making jokes with them and I even had them all give me their opinion on my glasses since I just couldnt decide which ones I liked best. I dont think I have ever had an enjoyable vision appointment until today!100% will be coming back.

Just went today to pick up my glasses & contacts & was blown away by the terrific customer service & friendliness! As soon as I walked in today & for my exam I was greeted right away & taken care of. Melanie took me back before my main exam with the eye doc & she had a great personality & was very cheerful! The eye doc is very professional & a shout out to Traci who was awesome, helping me pick out the right frames for my face, giving me honest feedback etc. She also made me laugh, she also has a wonderful, warming presence & personality, where you feel comftorable right away plus she took care of me right away so it makes you feel important & know they they truly care about finding customers the right pair of glasses! A positive atmosphere, everyone I came into contact with was very nice! I had to give up the eye doc center I had been going to since I was a little tyke since my eye insurance changed & I am very pleased. Will be returning! Thank you to Traci & the whole staff! To be honest I was very hesitant on coming to a big name store because customer service is usually not the driving force of their business. I am very glad I decided against that and went ahead and set up an appointment with them.My wife had a very pleasant experience months prior to mine so its clear this location strives for customer service.My appointment was scheduled for later in the evening but I got a call around lunch time that they were not busy and I could come in whenever I would like to. I ended up going in 2 hours before my scheduled appointment and was taken back for my eye exam within 15 minutes of my arrival.After choosing my frames, the lady who took care of me offered a 50% off frames promotion that I had no idea about. I was prepared to pay full price for the frames and she made sure she got me the best deal possible.A few days after my visit, I got a call that the frames I chose were not compatible with my prescription strength. I came in the following weekend and chose new frame that would work. I was told that the lens just needed trimmed and should only be a couple days max. It ended up taking a little over a week for them to complete that process. This was certainly frustrating at the time but I do not hold it against them. I do not believe that is a common occurrence and I got unlucky with a busy time for them.Every interaction I had with them was very positive. Everyone there is willing to help and makes sure every customer leaves happy. Another awesome thing is if the fit on your glasses ever becomes loose, just take them in to them and they will re fit them free of charge.I highly recommend this particular Vision Works location.

My husband & I purchased glasses on 3/22. We have not had a good experience. Im hopeful that after Tonyas help yesterday evening our issues will be resolved. She helped us when she wasnt on the clock and seemed very upset to hear that we continue to have issues. One of the lenses in my husbands glasses had a broken string. We asked them to repair the full lens as it was cut oddly and looked completely different that the other lens. We came back to pick it up, and they had just cut away the broken sting and did nothing to the lens. This is unacceptable with the amount of money we spent. Im still waiting on my glasses - I made change to a lens after order which is my fault. However, it took me over a week of callings to talk to someone who could help me with this change. It was blamed on them being too busy to call me back which is just poor customer service. Again, Im hopeful that Tonya will help these issues be corrected and that I can update this review to a positive resolution.

UPDATED 5/3/19 with EXCELLENT Resolution!Last week I received a call from the manager, Shaun, to address the situation below. She was very courteous and attentive to the problem. Not only did she listen and understand what had happened, she presented options to resolve the situation. She was able to send the frames that I selected out to a complete lab that has different equipment to accommodate my prescription. Shaun personally handled the situation and made me feel like a valued customer. I am very happy with my new glasses. It was a pleasure to work through the problem with someone so attentive and understanding. Thank you for seeing this through and correcting the problem. I will definitely return and recommend this location.(previous)When I picked up my glasses (over $300), the associate cleaned them several times and I thought she was just meticulous with her method. After I left, I felt like there was a smudge on one lens but thought it must be the new prescription and my adjustment. When I looked closer, I found a large permanent smudge that appeared like a hundred fine scratches vertically in the middle of the lens. I had to go all the way back. When I arrived, two people cleaned them again and claimed not to see any scratches. I could see them easily while wearing them or putting them up to the light. The original associate looked at them for a few seconds and said she could see them - but now I suspect she already knew that they were there. One man said that it likely happened after I left because of the change in atmosphere between the store and outside. This cannot be true. They kept them and are going to ASK the lab to TRY and have them done on Monday, with no guarantee. I absolutely need them ASAP. I feel like the service for buying the glasses was adequate, but the product was terrible and service afterwards also lacking. I explained that I will be out over 2 hours of my time to remedy this as well as gas money to get there and there is NO sympathy, just excuses - and no offer of discount or financial assistance to offset my costs.Update 4/22 - they called me and said that they tried to make new lenses for the frames but could not do it without having the same problem. They told me to come in and pick out another frame. I told them I could not trust them to make lenses for another frame, nor did I want to pick something from their selection. I was told that it could take 3 weeks to settle the matter with my insurance, even though I asked that they call my insurance to expedite the matter so that I can get my prescription filled elsewhere. I was made to feel as if it was my problem and they might be able to do something.

It took 2 months just to book an appointment that would work with my work schedule then only 3 business days before my appointment they call and ask about my insurance. Which i tried to explain how we have a group policy # and not individual cards but she was having none of it, telling me how I needed to talk to my HR representative. Even though my co-worker went to another eye doctor with just this form and was seen and they billed the insurance just fine.I will not be attending my appointment, just a bunch of rude people.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! We have been going here for a few years for my eye care needs and have always been very pleased with their customer service. A few years ago when I had a problem with the new glasses I got, they couldn’t have been any nicer and worked with us to resolve the issue. Traci is the BEST her customer service is top notch, takes the time to help the customer find the perfect pair of glasses for their needs, has an answer for every question, very knowledgeable. My 4 YO had managed to smash and step on my glasses several times in the last year, and every time I just bring them back in to VisiomWorks Lancaster, and they get them back to good as new. My spouse had the last appointment of the day, was called earlier and asked to come in early but could not as He worked until a certain time and had to travel. With an appointment at 6:30, We walked in at 6:35 as we had hit traffic on the way in and was told that the doctor had waited 5 minutes for us and left already. I am beyond appalled that I traveled 30 minutes to be told that I was 5 minutes too late and we would have to reschedule a completely different day. They had enough time to call me all day and ask to come in early, but not 5 minutes to wait at a location with heavy traffic. The man at the front counter was rude, and our entire *short* experience there was highly unprofessional and distasteful. I will never step foot in an establishment that treats their customers the way we were treated.

Extremely helpful, friendly and good deals. Only thing I can say bad is the waiting. Ive waited hours in there before bit the service is so good that I cant help but to not be fustrated anymore. I am not a fan of the anti-glare though and I spent a lot of money on them but the doctor here is really good and spotted a small lazy eye in my son that others did not. No place is perfect but this Vision Works is way better than the one near park city.

Everyone at the store was pleasant but Shawn Mack, the supposed manager. She has a chip on shoulder and is just not a nice person. I am truly stumped as to how she has a management position. More customers should speak up and complain - do not be afraid of Shawn Mack, even though she will try to intimidate you. Speak up and complain to her supervisors. Shawn spoke down to me and lied about pricing for my glasses.

Super nice on the phone when setting up a last minute appointment. The staff was extremely nice upon arrival to the appointment. Never again will I ever go to any visionworks. First of all the lady who helped me was new this was my first pair of glasses since I was a kid I asked him to price out a single pair of glasses with the lens in the frame and then she told me that it would be way cheaper to do the two frames for $59.95 well when all is said and done it was the same price as a single pair that I really liked. I had to go to work so I told you I would return that evening which I did can I purchase a single pair that I really liked them for me that they would be ready the next day at 5 p.m. and when I returned it was the wrong glasses she argued with me and told me that they werent she told me that I had to wait and come back the next day. What a cluster never again!!!!!!!

I had a 5 star experience from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. The girl at the front desk was very polite (greeted me right away) Dr. Skolnik was very nice and I was taken back within 2 minutes of me checking in. They made everything quick and easy!! The gentleman who helped me pick out my frames (Todd I think his name was, I apologize if Im wrong😥) That gentleman deserves a raise lol He was friendly, helped me pick out and try on several frames after getting an idea of what I was looking for until I found a pair I liked. He explained the add ons to my lenses and why he recommended them without making me feel forced to buy anything (A+ in my book) He kept conversation while filling out paperwork etc. So it wasnt that awkward, sit in silence type of ordeal like some places 😂 All in all, very nice place and friendly staff😊

Friendly, but not very good with communication. Took way too long to have my childs lenses completed and placed into his frames. We only needed lenses. They came in when expected, but we were told the lab tech was not in that day and that they were too busy to cut the lenses the rest of that week and to bring in his frames the following Monday. The lab tech was not in again that Monday and had to wait until the following day. Unacceptable service.

Im so pleased I picked visionworks Lincoln hwy.. I first had charly whom was awesome and personable ... a couple days later I went to order my glasses and the manager Shawn helped me ... AMAZING customer service and informative, personable ,my go to now for eye care and I highlyr recommend this location !!!!

This location. Has the nastiest ppl! I had an appt set and was left a rude, unprofessional message on my answering machine! I called them back only to be told that was not the case. Oh yes it was! Played them the message and all I could get was Oh sorry I told them to cancel my appt and I will gladly go where there are professional customer service ppl. I have heard other bad reviews from friends who have went to this location. Want to be talked to rudely and threatened? Then this is the place for you! Want professional courtesy? Then choose another location or company!

When I saw the doctor it went great but since them it is impossible to contact the office. I have wasted a ridiculous amount of time trying to just order contacts. The office will not answer and their website does not work to order off of. Any time you save going to this office will be more than lost when you try to ever reach them again or place an order.

Visionworks in Lincoln highway is such a great store I took my daughter there the doctor is really great he took his time with my daughter and the employers are wonderful they have a family like admosfier. Love this store.

This is the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. I had an eye appointment scheduled three weeks ago for today. I get there 15 minutes early. I get checked in, I am brought back for the 1st two tests, and then am told to go pick out my glasses and leave them in a tray. I get done, and go sit down to wait for the doctor, who then comes out and calls in the woman who had just checked in. I tell him that I am next, and he says, oh go talk to (whatever her name was). She then tells me that they tried to call me several times to tell me that my appt. was rescheduled. I never got a call or even a message, yet she insists they called several times. Even if they did, and I never heard it, they cant leave a message??? I also got an email reminder about TODAYS appointment.They seriously could not have told me as soon as I walked in that it had been rescheduled??I will never go to this place ever again, and I will be sure that everyone that I know hears what happened to me today. Nothing like wasting all that time and gas....thanks for nothing visionworks!

I had an awesome experience with the staff when I first came in. They helped me pick frames that would fit my face and helped me through the whole process and they were extremely patient. They answered all of my questions too. I was told they were a little behind so it might take up to two weeks to recieve my glasses. Okay thats fine with me. Now its going on over three weeks and I have not heard anything after paying most 500 dollars in their store and when I try to call the number I get a busy signal so I cant even get into contact with the store to find out whats going on. Im going to have to drive over 40 mins to go to the store to talk to someone. I dont know that I would choose to do business again with vision works if this is how it ends up everytime

Visionworks posts an integrity policy on its website and I can that it’s part of their daily operations in their Mill Creek store. I also know there are many honest, kind people in the world (and in Lancaster!)While visiting Lancaster from Seattle, I shopped at Verizon next door and upon leaving, sat on the bench outside Visionworks; when I left, I left my wallet behind. A customer found it and took it into Visionworks. They attempted to contact me and when that was unsuccessful, they overnighted the wallet to my home. When I received it, I phoned the store to thank them and offer to pay the postage; they declined the payment offer.So a huge THANK YOU to Visionworks and the unknown finder. Together you have made my day and renewed my faith in humanity.
