Im not sure why individuals are posting 1-star reviews. Website store hours? Dont trust them. Call ahead. Broken glasses? Umm... yeah. Glasses break for different reasons. My wife, my son and I purchased numerous pairs of glasses over the years from Boscovs Optical... from brand-name pricey, to no name relatively-inexpensive. None have broken. Maybe were just lucky. Either way, if its the stores fault, Tara will handle it. If its a user issue... well. Re: lenses not being correct, many times thats a person issue too. If you dont tell the optometrist what you want/need (or correctly tell them when letters do or dont appear clearer), and/or conditions you do or dont have already, the optometrist cant really help you. Also, if a lab tells you they dont have the lenses you need (and you need/want those lenses specifically), go to another lab/vision center. Thats your right as a consumer. Dont blame the lab.FWIW, if you work with Tara at Boscovs Optical, there is nothing but a five-star experience. My wife, my sons, and I have been going to Boscovs Optical for years. My wife... for almost a decade, me (having learned two years ago that I needed glasses) for two years... my oldest son for five years... and my youngest just this year for an eye exam. Yes, its a no-frills shop in the back of the store. But, the optometrist is helpful and takes her time with testing, diagnoses, and prescriptions. And, again, Tara is just outright spectacular! She puts the u in Customer Service. FWIW, Im in no way affiliated with Boscovs or any of its employees. My family and I are just that impressed with Tara, who always goes above and beyond to ensure you get the glasses you really need (at a reasonable price, even if you originally think you need something more expensive) and the fit you need/want.

I got the BEST deal from Boscovs Optical recently! Wonderful quality! I used the Optical coupon for $25.00 off and paid less than I ever have for two pairs of glasses! Ask for Tara... she is AWESOME! She goes above and beyond for you in her expertise. I highly recommend her and Boscov Optical in Park City, Lancaster, PA.

This place actually takes the time to make sure you have the right Rx. I decided to try a different optician place this year and that was a bad decision. Went back to Boscovs and I gladly paid for my sons eye exam. The Dr. took her time and gave him the proper Rx. They have an awesome sale for children glasses. I only wish they had a bigger selection. I wont go to another place to get an exam for my son again????

Horrible experience first pair of glasses broke and were too small second pair of glasses can not see out of left lens sent back for different lenses,(needed verolox lenses but i was told their lab does not offer them) and still can not see out of left lens and left arm and nose piece broke off again. sent back to get fixed and talked to somone else that works there they told me that they do in fact offer verolux lenses ??? Just got them back and in one week the left arm and nose piece broke off AGAIN and i still CAN NOT see out of left lens ! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! I dont even know if i want to go back again . unfortunately i need my glasses but i need to be able to see correctly and i need a pair that DO NOT keep breaking ! The only positive think about boscovs is they have been refitting me no charge but thats not going to help unless their lab fixes them correctly. Sorry but i am VERY UNSATISFIED!

Open until 6:00 PM. Web says 9:30. I assume their vision specialists suck since they probably cant read and differentiate a 6 from a 9.
