The staff was very friendly. The music playing on the speakers had me wanting to get my dance on. (LOL) My appointment went smoothly and in a timely manner. Dr. Lee was professional. We had good conversation during my eye exam. I will be back. I would definitely recommend someone going to this office for their eye care.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful. The help behind the desk were very professional and helpful. My husband and I thought Chuck was very helpful and courteous. He did an awesome job. We will definitely keep going there. I totally recommend people to go there.

I believe Dr. Ly was the one who checked me and my two boys recently (should have asked her name). She was so sweet and attentive with the kids, they really enjoyed having her check their vision with all the games she had them do. She was very patient and just had the best attitude working with small kids. The entire staff was very courteous and professional.

Sarah the person “helping” did not do her job correctly. I had company voucher which makes things easier you would think. I paid for the product with my cc. She calls me because of some mix up that no one understands when she talks so I had to go in and refund and then calls me again to come in and pay again and take my measurements again. This third time Chuck helped me on it and said there was a code needed that was not come on their part. She didn’t do it and was sitting on my order for a month. Chuck took care of it all. I would not recommend going there. They are friendly staff but incompetent. Then the wait for glasses is 6-8 weeks. It’s not like they’re Gucci or Versace.

I have been going to this office for over 20 years and they have always given me the best eye care. They even found out I had Glaucoma early on and was able to see a specialist. They are great!!!

I’ve been going to Dr Ellis for about 5 years now, and have never had such exemplary care by both doctor and staff as I have had at Ellis Eye. They are all very friendly and professional, but they go out of their way to explain every test and make you comfortable during the exam. Their equipment is the most current I’ve seen, eliminating the need for that started “puff test” for glaucoma. I like that they offer an additional retinal scan for a small extra cost. I feel like the detail that it gives the doctor is worth a few extra dollars to keep my eyes healthy. They also have a great selection of glasses! Overall, my favorite doc out here in the AV. I highly recommend his office for the best eye care around.

We had some customer service issues that keep me from being able to leave a five star review. I will say, though, that this office went out of the way to make sure that the issues were resolved and also offered to recompense us for the trouble. You dont often see that level of customer service. The doctors are competent and thorough.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ellis office since moving up to the AV. Dr. Lee was awesome went over images with explanation. Listened to my needs. Only advice I have is when checking out that customer is informed on how and approximately when I will be contacted or how I would be contacted (i.e. call, email, text, etc) to pick up contacts/glasses. I had to ask if I should wait on a call 📱 for pickup or should I just come in a week or so. Other than that I recommend Dr. Ellis office to anyone seeking a professional optometry office.

Dr. Ellis is one of a kind. He is thorough, kind and patient. He painstakingly explains the process that he’s going to take you through and gives examples that every layman can understand. I was so happy with his recommendations and “non-sales” pitch approach that I hope you’ll think of him when you need an exam.

Dr. Ellis and his staff are warm yet professional , always making me feel comfortable. When I have my annual visit its like seeing old friends. The staff corrects or adjust my lens , no matter the problem( loose fit, too tight). I even had a pair of frame replaced at no cost that broke w/n the year. Dr. Ellis is straight forward down to earth doctor, explaining procedures and results as he does his exam. I recommend everyone give his office a try, plus they have a huge variety of designer frames at reasonable price.

Everyone was professional, helpful, answered questions. We have been clients for years at this office, however, the original doctor & staff have retired since we last had appointments. This was my first visit at Ellis Eye Optometry: Drs Ellis, Mewborne and Davidian and it was such a pleasant experience. Each of the staff members that helped me were extremely welcoming and positive and I could tell it was the culture to be professional, courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Above that, they are genuinely kind and caring. Dr. Ellis was a fantastic doctor, he took his time and explained everything with great care. He did and recommended what was in my best interest. This place used to be great but now with new staff and new Doctors this place has gone down hill. I have been waiting on my contacts for over 2 months and I never even received a call for an update. I go to pick up my glasses and I wait outside for over 20 mins. I later found out my contacts were the wrong prescription and they had to be sent back. Same thing with my husband with his glasses and still nothing. His glasses had to be sent back TWICE!! just problem after problem.

I really missed my last Dr at this location, but let me just say the female Drs here are so amazing!! And professional!! The office manager was so helpful with what I needed, the girl when you first walk in was extremely helpful with assisting me with my eyeglasses choice, I don’t even think that was in her job description. I’ve been coming here 3 years now and I will continue to. Bravo to the best AV eye care. By far the most helpful and kind place. I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts for 17+ years and this place has been the most helpful place! I’m sorry I don’t remember names I barely remember my own kids names..you are all more than 5 stars!!
