I had to go in to see the Doctor today, September 22, 2021. I am 61 years old and this morning I started seeing flashes of light in one of my eyes. I was worried it was a Retinal Detachment so I made an emergency appointment. They got me in quickly and ran very thorough tests and discovered I am not having a Retinal Detachment but a Vitriolic Detachment which is a normal occurrence for a person my age. To my relief they explained it to me in detail and told me I don’t need to do anything about it. They let me know what to expect and I left there feeling much better. I am very satisfied with them. They were kind and spent time with me. I recommend this facility to anyone that is in need of this kind of service.

No time waisted on waiting. Very timely appointment.Personnel really kind. Doctors very professional and dedicate enough time to hear patient concerns.I highly recommend them.

Very good customer service I called and been able to get an appointment same day.

I really like Dr. Chea she remembered what I had on when I came for my first visit and how my hair was and most doctors don’t even remember your name let alone what you were wearing; that spoke volumes for me. I’ve worked for eye doctors in the past and this place values the code of ethics.

The receptionist were polite. You dont have to wait long to be seen. The nurse worked in excellence. The doctor treated me with great care. He put some care into letting me know whats going on with my eyes.

Ive had too many problems here to write about! Does anyone have another place you would reccomend? I have glaucoma & cataracts. Been patient a few years now & so far have had two doctors leave the company.

My visit today was handled very thorough from start to finish. My wait time was minamal from the time of my arrival. The wait to see the doctor was was short as well.Dr. Lisa Chea was very professional and personable with each test. Todays visit was great and I will definitely recommend Acuity Eye Group to friends and family.

Service with a smile.I appreciate how this office calls me yearly to remind me to/and schedule my yearly exams.With the newest equipment in use at Acuity, one never needs those horrid eye drops to dilate ones pupils, which is a major breakthrough in technology and convenience for patients.

By far the best eye doctors I’ve been to in the Antelope Valley. They were quick and proficient. Very clean and sanitary. The staff were very nice and professional and their services were just all around fantastic!

This place is exceptional in many ways. The employees treat you like they are glad you came there for your eye care, the place is very clean, the wait time was minimal the Dr. was excellent. Im so glad my primary dr. recommended Acuity eye center. My appointment was for 8:10 a.m. 1sr time patient . It started filling up at 8: a.m. By 9:20 I was out . And, I had paperwork to fill out. Would highly recommend .

The Staff is courteous and friendly. The seating area is neat ,clean and safely set apart, which is so important especially because of the covid.I would definitely recommend Acuity Eye Group for optometry services.

The front desk people are a little slow in checking people in. The front desk people seem to need more training in customer service , No smiles from them and no greet. Although the technician, doctor and optician were great which is why I give this place 4 stars. -Catrina

This place is great! The staff is professional, friendly, informative and caring. And my exam started right on time. Great experience.

2 pm appointment came out at 3:55 I didn’t even get to see the optician because the signup sheet line was so long. I stood in line for the 2nd time and the receptionist was busy having a personal conversation. The lady who checked us out at the end was not interested in doing her either. I will say that the young man who helped us first and the DR were great. Too bad for horrible front service. Last time I go to this place! I have 2 years to look for a decent office or drive 120 miles back to my previous eye drUPDATE-Warning!!!!Where do I start with this place? First time here and last time Looking back this should have been a signs. The glasses fitting was easy found a great frame. Paid got out. The next day I get a call that I was undercharged. I didn’t question it. I paid it by credit card over the phone since I was going to be gone for a few days and desperately wanted my glasses. Finally get my glasses. As usual it takes a bit to get used to the new prescription. It’s now 7/14 this prescription is wrong. I can’t read it’s still difficult to see at a distance. There is no point in complaining the service here sucked. I’m going to call it a loss and move on. I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK HERE AGAIN. The kicker I just now received a bill for both myself and my daughter $200. I am not paying it good luck trying to collect it. You have my insurance . I have never paid anything more than a copay.

The eye doctor is fantastic he’s truly knows his job. As for the front desk receptionist can use a little more tutoring on her job over all very pleasant nice place to go and I have 2020 now

This was my first time there. I had a great experience. The staff were so nice and respectful. The waiting time wasnt long. I was in and out of there in a short time. I had enough time to do errands. I just wish they would open on Saturdays . Thank you Acuity Eye Group staff😊

The office staff were rude af. The Doctor was amazing. My issue is I was told 4-6 weeks and at 6 weeks I was told 6-8 was. Then I was told a min of 12 weeks. They should have said this from the beginning.

Everyone there was great. Dr. Cahoon was swamped because he had some people call in sick, but he handled it like a pro and continued on like a trooper, even though he had to deal with my rambunctious little 8 year old little girl, without any backup and he never lost his smile. I highly recommend Acuity Eye Group. 💯

ZERO STARS for the Lancaster location. If you like waiting in a waiting room with no lights on, an hour past your appointment time, by all means, make an appointment here. They were very slow to check people in, there was constantly a line to the front desk.I showed up early like they asked, so I could fill out the new patient paperwork. My appointment was at 2:10pm. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally I went to the front desk to let them know it was nearly an hour past my appointment time, and LO AND BEHOLD, magically they called my name after the front desk lady went in the back, to check. I was called back at 3:10pm.Upon being taken back to the initial exam, the technician was unsure of what she was looking for in my eye, and got another technician. The second technician didnt know what she was looking at in my eye, so they said theyd pass me off to the doctor and have her take a look since they didnt know what they were supposed to look for. (whatever they were supposed to look for, the doctor looked and said it was ok)Finally upon seeing the doctor, she seemed upset because she wanted to dilate my eyes but no one ever told me upon making the appointment, nor the appointment reminder call, that I was ever to bring a driver with me because they wanted to dilate my eyes.The doctor was quite curt and I had to keep her in the room to answer my questions because otherwise she would have walked out mid-question. The reason for my appointment was not taken care of, which was a referral from my primary care doctor. The Acuity doctor went a different route with my concern and told me to come back in 4-6 weeks, **this time** with a driver so they could dilate my eyes, and **maybe** take care of my issue.Again, overall rating of ZERO STARS for this establishment. Unfortunately I have to go back in 4-6 weeks to get done what I need, well, hopefully.

Very friendly staff that delivers a high level of customer service. My eye appointment today was very thorough yet fast and efficient. I was also able to order my new glasses during the same visit although I was scheduled for an exam only. I was very grateful. I highly recommend Acuity Eye Group.

Best visit experienced for my mother in the years she has been to this office. Front office staff cheerful and willing to assist.Dr Kennedy was very helpful in explanations and educational about glaucoma, eye pressures and reasoning for treatment and more frequent eye pressure check.Very caring and kind to my elderly mother with dementia.Visit was one hour less than previous visits to this office. Also office and bathroom was very clean, hand sanitizers throughout. Important during our pandemic.Thank You

This was my first appointment at this office. The staff was friendly and efficient. The eye ware employee was great! He was most helpful in helping me with my glasses. Overall, I would recommend this office to friends and family. My only complaint is the lens for my glasses are a more expensive than other companies Ive checked.

Every person, from the administration, technicians and Dr. Treated me with respect, compassion, answered all my questions and left me feeling great when I left there today.

I have called the office 7 times sinceLast Monday. I called 3 times last week snd left messages. I was on hold today for 10 minutes the first time (and was hung up on) and then 50+ minutes the second time i called today. I saw my doctor 2 1/2 weeks ago who prescribed eye drops for cornea edema. I am allergic to the drops. I have surgery scheduled for Nov 30This is unacceptable performance by the office staff.

Theyre too Big Business to take care of patients. The best thing about this place are the staff who fit the glasses.

Terrible front desk service, women stay several minutes gossiping with each other and hide behind the desk while patients are waiting to be attended. When they decide to finally quit talking and attend a patient, after seeing the huge line they caused, they give off very condescending and rude attitudes towards the guests. If they do not have the patience and/or willingness to simply attend people they shouldn’t specialize in a field dealing with customer service.

Friday at Acuity Eye Group group was a pleasant visit. The front desk, technician, and Dr. Chea, all paid close attention to detail, while being very kind and safe during pandemic times.

After 3 months of waiting for sunglasses, they were out of focus and with blemishes.

The service was very slow and they never answer the phone when you call. It doesnt matter what day of the week or what time you call you will always get voicemail or you will always be on a long hold. Also I was still getting billed after they cashed my check.

Acuity is the BEST! Been to Lancaster and San Gabriel offices. Best, friendliest, helpful staff ever. I have been going every 3-5 weeks for a year because of torn then detached retina. Dr V treats you like family. Yes, if you get an appt after 2pm, the wait can be significant. Thats because the doctors actually TALK with you, answer any/all questions. Some days the wait is 45 min, sometimes 2 hours (if appt after 2-3pm) I know this and plan accordingly. For me, the occasional lengthy wait is worth the quality of care. So grateful for Dr V, Dr Alasil, and all the staff at both Acuity offices.

Unbelievable! This place is horrible we were waiting for more then 2 hours. Dont know whats worse this place or the DMV. I understand if you dont have an appointment you wait but when you have an appointment the wait shouldnt be this long. When you walk in they should advise you of the process and let you know how long it will take. Never again thats all I can say!

Although they do a great service, they do not return calls. I have left many messages and I still have not heard from them. As, I can not get through by phone, Ill go the office.They should have someone answer the phone, if they do not bother to listen to messages.

The wait time in this office is awful! You will wait no less than 2 hours to actually see the doctor. Being called to the back room does not mean you are going to see the doctor; it just means you will sit in the back waiting room. My husband had an appointment on the 1st. Checked in at 9:40 a.m and then actually left the office at 12:15 p.m. and it was only for a visual field test. Also, expect appointments to be cancelled and rescheduled to until the day before. This is because bthey constantly have doctors leaving this particular office. The only trason why we come here is because this is where our insurance pays.

Fast efficient service with the eye exam. Getting new glasses has been a hassle. No direct number to that department so you have to go through switchboard and then no return calls. Getting frustrated after 3 weeks of waiting.

The employees are very friendly and helpful and the wait time is so much better than last year. The time from start to finish was about alittle over an hour compared to last year when ii was a 3 hour appt.

I had insurance i wasnt sure of what it covered because i left the paperwork at home, i was told the exam wasnt covered and it was... i ended paying cash im going to have to go back and get this resolved due to them not checking my insurance.

Had an apt at 3pm early, took copay. Backroom #1 to give reason for apt and dilate eyes(Was NEVER TOLD UNTIL SITTING IN CHAIR ABOUT DIALATING EYES) MOVE ON to back waiting area, 5 min to #2 room ,quick pics of eyes on to #3 room to wait for new Dr. While waiting it sounded like a very large rat on roof, was just cooler guy working right above my room. Mirrors were rattling on wall. 3:15 Dr. Comes in needs a min to look at my chart, explained my concern and she looked in eyes ,girl puts more drops ( never said what they were for) and was told see you in 6 months, have no surgeons until june,no surgery until July. Can get copy of findings at desk. To front desk to make apt. Waited 25 mins for 1 person ahead of me to make her apt. Asked for copy of findings, told could mail it to me. Ok. Appointment made after told none later than 2:30 when todays was at 3. Left, eyes still blurry, but drove myself home. Got call, msg, sorry cant mail paper but can fax it. ????? . Next day went to leave for work walked out into sun and eyes are blurry, drove to work called them told Linda whats going on said would email the doctor and get back to me. That was may 7,2018 , today is may27 2018 havent heard anything. Eyes took 3 days to get back to normal. I ONLY HAD TO GO BECAUSE OF DRS REFERAL. I WOULD NOT SEND ANYONE THERE THEY NEED TO BE CLOSEDDOWN !!!!!!!!
