I lost my ability to walk as a result of myelopathy in my neck and, subsequently, lost my job. I had no insurance and had to sell almost everything I owned just to live for a couple of months while searching for someone, and some way, to get help as I was becoming more paralyzed by the day. Finally, I made contact with the Health Department and they agreed to cover my surgery.Dr. Boyer took me into his care and performed two surgeries on me for merely pennies on the dollar. He didnt have to care for me but he did and he gave me my life back. He always had time for me and was always very compassionate.I have an SCI as a result of the impingement, but I am active and will always be grateful to Dr. Boyer.

I have had two surgeries by Dr Richard Boyer and he has done a stellar job on both occasions. I trust Dr Boyer with my life. He listens to his patients and gives realistic outcomes. His entire practice is on top of their game. I would recommend him and the practice to anyone.

Dr. Boyer did surgery on my husbands discs several years ago so when I recently had a back injury he is the only one I would consider going to. He listens and will do whatever it takes to find and correct the issue. I really appreciate him and his kindness as a doctor.

My mother has been going to him for a while now. Well for her privacy Im not going to explain much about whats wrong with her, but he has been telling her for a while now if the pain goes to the right side or her back and legs he will do surgery and it will fix the pain on the right side too. so now the pain did move, So we made a appointment and saw him today. He said that surgery wouldnt help anything; not pain nor the reason to fix her back anyways. Obviously he doesnt know what he is talking about! Therefore he sure wouldnt know whats going on. I guess the only reason he like SEEING patients is for their money or the insurance money they have, because obviously he DONT want to give anyone surgery no matter what. My mother is in pain and cries for it all the time and was even crying at the office and he didnt care. He just cares about the money we end up paying him!!!! By the way the only reason there is a one star was, because you cant choose none lower!

Just had surgery. Ouch! However, Dr. Boyer was very kind, polite and skillful. His staff was great. I am so happy I was referred to him. Thank you for the neuro-stimulater. The relief from pain is so helpful. Now maybe a chance for a more normal life. Couldnt have done it without him and his staff! THANK YOU!!!!!

I was recommended to dr. Boyer and he done great with my first surgery but had advised me that I would probably need a second.I had relief for a year or so .now my pain has gotten worse.so I am having a second surgery this month.to relate to the insurance I had ti try physical therapy. And then shots in my back which was a waste of time .before my insurance will pay for my surgery.

Well he was nice but not knowledgable on my condition. He pretty much said I should not have any of my symptoms. I drag one leg and getting worse. It is said when you can go to webpages and medical articles and it tells of symptoms and yet your docter says it causes none.

WANTED TO GIVE NO STARS BUT HAD TO GIVE AT LEAST ONE TO BE ABLE TO POST: Tried to tell me he removed my shunt and would no longer see me due to the fact that he removed my shunt and there was no need to come back, the lady at the front desk told me he said this, refused to let me speak directly to the doctor. I still have a shunt and started seeing a different doctor after this and am currently still being treated by the new doctor for the shunt that dr boyer supposidly removed, makes me wonder if he even knows what he is doing when he does it? Are his patients people to him or just cattle to get money? I just have no words really who trys to tell you they did something to you that you CLEARLY know they didnt?!

My mother was the last patient of the day. The front office staff turned the lights off on me and my daughters and my mother was not finished with her appointment. Very rude.
