She absolutely in the best doctor you will ever meet... She is your friend when she is in with you. I would wait all day in a room if I had to to see her. She gives you her undivided attention and makes you feel like your her own family. She will always be my doctor!!! My entire family sees her on my mother side and she has been through alot with us. If you want a doctor that is not in and out and will actually dig and exhaust every avenue then look no further.

Called to become a new patient at this office and was put on hold for 10 min and when they finally got around to picking up the phone they hung up on me. Horrible manners and zero patience.

Dr Thakur is the most genuine, compassionate and caring Dr. She is very thorough and will get to the bottom of any issue. She has the most caring heart and will make you feel so comfortable. She never rushes you in an appointment and will take all the time you need. I almost look forward to my yearly appointments with her! She’s the best!

This is the best doctor I have ever met. I have gone to many doctors to seek help for my rare, and complex conditions. If you have a difficult case, this is the doctor for you. She does not rush, and will give you her undivided attention. Because shes such a great doctor there is a long wait. Today I was in the office for 2 hours, but it doesnt matter because I would not have received this level of care anywhere else. Because there are so many patients, referrals and orders can take a little longer, but that is to be expected. Thank you Dr. Thakur!!

I have been with Dr Thakur for over four yrs and really appreciate how much she truly cares about you as a person not just her patient. She is very, very smart and explains your results in everyday language so you understand. She takes time to find out what is going on with you and asks you a lot of questions. And just knows what you have even be4 u take tests, best part is that your tests at next bldg over at Fort Sanders. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had.Teresa

Dr. Thakur is an excellent and caring physician. She takes time to discuss your concerns in an in-depth manner. She cares about your over-all well-being. Because she is so through, dont expect to be seen on time. Patience is a virtue and she is definitely worth the wait.

Ive never met someone with a kinder, gentler disposition than Dr. Thakur. She is really remarkable, and except for one part of my comment, my experience with her has been positive. Diving in, it is not uncommon to wait for the better part of two hours before you ever see her. If you have chosen her because of her ratings and have to drive more than an hour to get there, you have to basically schedule the day off for an office visit. Considering that time in the waiting room, the fact that if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment it is cancelled is LUDICROUS. Even if you call in advance and let them know, they dont care. They literally told me when I mistook the time and would be 20 minutes late because Im coming to their office from a different TIME ZONE just to turn around and dont bother. Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg for the staff, who I have found generally unhelpful. Calls to the nurse are scarcely if ever returned. Their phones are shut down before their office hours end. They cannot make adjustments to the information on your file without a torturous litany of faxed documents. If I could just meet Dr. Thakur for lunch once a year and talk, I would get all I needed without having to go through the gauntlet that is the office. Im sorry to say Im going to have to bite the bullet and find another doctor.

I have been going to family practice for eight years. In all that time, not once have I seen or met Dr Thakur. They mostly have a revolving door for nurse practitioners. That’s the only person you will see. On my most recent visit, the nurse practitioner Tiffony Steelman. Did not even do a simple exam. She is a poor excuse for a NP. I’ve decided enough is enough and am changing practices. Don’t waste your time or money there.

Dr THAUKER is beyond AMAZING. However the front desk staff is not so amazing to me. The staff nurses, etc. In the back service area is kind. Another Dr. Referred me to her and I read the reviews about the staff, check in area not being of the same kind, gentIe, caring, everybody is somebody spirit.

Dr. Thakur is the kindest, loveliest person who sincerely cares about her patients, and is the best doctor you could ask for. She is always willing to answer my many questions and calls me back to help me get direction and guide me in making difficult decisions on other procedures I might need. She takes a very integrative approach and is willing to embrace findings from my doctors in other modalities (i.e., my Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic doctors), she has never laughed it off or disregarded it. I didnt have a doctor here for the longest time, and am so grateful that a friend referred me to her. As I am older, I need a very good doctor I can count on, and can reach if I have an urgent question. Also, her phone nurses, Parker, Judy and Lori are always so helpful and patient with my many questions, and her nurses and PA, Shastina are wonderful, too. I feel so blessed to have found this doctors office.

As I reflect on today as another failure here in Wisconsin to find a PCP. I literally just had a crying spell today as I’m reminded of the lovely and wonderful Dr. Thakur, the providers here in Wisconsin are the most uncaring, horridly bad bedside manners doctors I have ever encountered in my life!!!Dr. Thakur is the most concerned and caring doctor I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.I seen a review today as I went to see if she still is in practice and it gave a bad review of the procedures and office staff.I’m not there to see the office staff. If you’re late I never had a problem with that. Maybe that’s newer. Irregardless if you had to find a good doctor where I am you’d quite quickly want to adapt to the rules at Dr. Thakur’s because having non caring doctors has made me respect the care that Dr. Thakur provided to me from my early 20’s till my 40’s.I am miserable here in Wisconsin with the provider care. This place is the worst place I’ve ever been.
