I usually dont give anyone a five star. But I will for Dr Kern. On July 19. He did a reverse shoulder surgery, fixed a completely torn rotor cup and fixed a torn tendon in my right shoulder. The nerve block wore off Tuesday evening and I have had no pain in that shoulder since. I messed it up in Sept 2018 and just had been dealing with it. The staff at the office and hospital staff at UT was awesome. I want to thank you for taking care of me and fixing my shoulder. Before the surgery I ask God to be with you and help you. Well I have to say Thank You to both.

Parking was easy, my wait was short and Dr Kern and Braxton were very attentive to my situation. My only regret is that I didnt go see him sooner. Every time Ive been to this office, the staff is nothing short of amazing.

Dr Kern listened about my concerns of a new diagnosis regarding my bones. We are all working together for a better outcome for my health.

Dr. Kern and his staff are absolutely amazing! They answer all my questions about my daughters recovery. Dr. Kern explains everything very clearly and says exactly what he expects to happen in the next weeks of her recovery. I would not trust anyone else to operate on my 16 year old daughters knee.

From the initial greeting all the way through to scheduling my surgery, the experience was wonderful. I greatly appreciate how Dr. Kern listens to my goals and explains the path forward in a way that I can understand. It truly feels like we are working as a team to correct my issue.

I’m almost 52 years old, played a ton of sports over the years and retired from the military. During my competitive years I incurred injuries to my shoulder and knee which required reconstruction. Dr. Kern and his staff have by far given me the best surgical care that I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t think that recovery could be this easy. I’ll never go anywhere else if I need another repair.

Was a bit nervous coming in and not knowing what to expect, however when I left Dr. Kerns office I had such a sigh of relief. They took care of me the whole through. I will be back if I have to. Thank you all for all that you do.

Had surgery on right clavicle last year, and came back to dr.kern for surgery on my left this year because he explained every process thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable with my procedure. 100% would recommend this doctor to anyone!

Awesome experience with knee surgery, he tried to minimize scarring even though I needed a pretty large opening for screw placement, and always takes my concerns with post-op tissue and muscle recovery seriously. Recommended to him by Dr. Oros, who is even more personable and warm; both of these doctors as a team made my entire injury a lot less traumatizing. Highly recommend either provider.

I was impressed at how fast the whole process was. Everyone from check-in to room placement to Xray to physician was especially expedient. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

I truly appreciate Dr Kern. He has always been informative and compassionate as well as a smiling face when you need it. Granite Id rather get an okay for injections over the phone rather than pay for one but its always nice to see dr Kern

Dr Kern came in and basically stated nothing is wrong with me. That there is no way my issues can come from my shoulder and pectoral issues, made me cry said Ill give you a shot of cortisone if it works great if not not sure what to tell you, plus i never for the mobic arthritis medicine, Im tired of going to drs who keep sending me to someone else who says theres nothing they can do
