I have been very satisfied with Dr. Seals, so far. I began having fairly frequent nosebleeds in late 2016. My primary care physician recommended one of the other physicians in the same office as Dr. Seals; but he was not available for more than six weeks out. I was able to obtain an appointment with Dr. Seals within a couple of days and my check-in/ wait experience was excellent. I actually saw the Dr before my appointment time. Dr Seals took the time to listen to my issues/concerns and was great at explaining what he was going to do and executing the treatment with minimal pain. Ive given him only 4 stars because while the severity of the bleeds is diminished Im still having an issue after three treatments.

This ENT states there is no such thing as fluid drainage from the ears. I have had a leak of copious amounts of unknown fluid coming from my ear for 7 months and upon multiple doctors visits, I have been dismissed from doctors who dont know the cause and wont take the time to listen. Seals was just the same, but further insulting by explaining to me that I have formed a habit, and there is nothing wrong with me. This is medical negligence at its finest, as it has been suggested by others within the medical field that I know personally, for my symptoms to strongly indicate a Cerebralspinal Fluid Leak. Seals did an X-ray of my sinuses, which would never indicate a CSF leak and upon discussion of what my problem could be, claimed without any supporting facts aside from his own opinion, that I have no further medical issue and its all in my mind. When I would try to speak up, he would cut me off in a condescending tone and clearly founding case laughable because thats what he was doing each time I tried to explain my symptoms in full, and also further my concerns by sharing my experience and history that would support my reason for being there to start with. If I cant stop leaking from my head, there is something very wrong, especially given the lack of any sinus, stomach, throat, allergy, or asthma problems that have been diagnosed so far, treated, and there has been no solution. I wouldnt recommend going to Seals if your life depended on it. I have suffered beyond what I am able with this and I cannot continue living with a condition that takes so much from my life. This is not something Seals was interested in, nor did he bother to do any tests to rule out a CSF leak because he isnt educated on the subject which - is unfortunately not uncommon among physicians. His solution was for me to google it, to prove he was correct. Much of my time and energy and been dedicated to finding my own solution for this crippling condition. As such, I have done extensive research and I was fully prepared to have a human conversation with this man in hopes that he could help me. Instead, he was insulting, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. Do not waste your time or your money to be treated so poorly. I am appalled and I was so discouraged when I left his office. I felt hopeless. That is not where a patient belongs who is in desperate need for help. I will be going to a more competent doctor next who will listen follow through with upholding the integrity of a position such as his.
