I dont understand how Dr Ragland has 5 stars.. I had a MRI on my back and my family doctor referred me to him for a second opinion on my findings, Just found out today he denied me as a patient!! What kind of doctor does that?? Its not about the insurance, because he takes my insurance!! I sure wouldnt recommend him!! Honesty, he doesnt even deserve one star! Seems like hes in the wrong field!! Thanks for nothing!!

Dr Ragland is wonderful, his bedside manners are awesome, he listened to everything I had to say,and did my back surgery and that day I could stand and the intense pain for the nerves being pitched in my lower back was gone.gone.

Two years ago today Dr. Ragland performed back surgery for me and it has made such a huge difference in my life. At the time of my surgery my pain level was about an 8 or 9 and I had to stop exercising completing. I wondered if I would ever be able to resume my regular exercise routine, as I doubted I would ever be well enough again. I am now running between 25-30 miles per week. I am so thankful for his skilled hands, knowledge and concern. Thank you for giving me my life back.

I had a disc replacement surgery yesterday..first surgery I’ve ever had. Dr. Ragland is hands down the best. He was very patient with me and my family. He was highly recommended and I would trust him to do surgery on me again or my family members .. his staff is amazing too especially Karen who went above and beyond by taking g time after her work hours to handle an issue with my insurance. Will recommend them to anyone with back/neck issues

One year ago today I had a second Chiari surgery performed by Dr Joel Ragland I would give him 100 stars if possible. He is an amazing doctor he is knowledgeable and very caring. He listens to you and figures out what is best for you as a patient. His assistant Nancy is awesome as well and all the office staff. I know God had a hand in bringing me to him. Dr. Ragland has done two back surgeries on my and one neck surgery on my wife. We both are doing great and it’s been a few years for me. Very informative and gives you options. Highly recommend him if your in pain.

Dr Joel ragland was wonderful! He was genuinely concerned with my outcome on life. He actually cares about his patients and their futures. He helped give me my life back! He performed a bilateral discectomy and Ive been pain free since then. I kid you not he sat down and spoke with me and my husband for an hour and was willing to sit and listen, answer any of our questions.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RAGLAND. 7 YEARS AGO HE DID A SPINAL FUSION ON MY L5 S1 AN IT WAS A SUCCESS. THE STAFF, DR. RAGLAND AN THE BEDSIDE MANNERS AT PARKWEST WAS SO CARING. THEY ALL ACTUALLY LISTENED BEFORE AN AFTER SURGERY. DR RAGLAND TAKES HIS TIME AN TALKS OUT THE SITUATION AN GIVES YOU OPTIONS IF SURGERY IS THE LAST RESORT. Dr. Ragland is one of the few doctors that will talk with you an explan everytime. We talked about my options for more than an hour. If can can help you he will, if he can’t he will tell you so.

The staff of Dr. Raglands office are the best. Dr. Ragland is not only a great surgeon but he talks to you like a friend you have known for years. Connie his assistant is a very caring, supportive, willing to go above and beyound to help you in any situation. She has always been there for me from day 1. The staff is awesome too. Couldnt ask for a bettet NS office. Kudos and Im a walking commercial and my new motto is Go See Dr. Ragland if your broke down lol.
