Dr. Laura Cox is an excellent dentist for many reasons. She pulled a difficult molar and did it so carefully and gently, that evening following the extraction I did not need any pain meds other than ibuprofen. My best friend who hates dentists LOVES her. My brother also uses Dr. Cox. Another important thing about her is there is no shaming or guilt tripping with her or with her dental hygienist (Jackie) who is also very excellent and friendly. This is the dental practice we have all been looking for all our lives!

Dr Walker was AMAZING. She was very pleasant, kind, patient, personable and just over all wonderful. She explained each step what she was doing and her light had a mirror so I could watch myself what was happening. I will DEFINITELY recommend her to the next person I hear needs a dentist. Dr. Cox has been my dentist for 30 years. I came to her originally when I hadnt been to a dentist in years. I was embarrassed and knew I was going to need a lot of work done. Dr. Cox and her staff were kind, compassionate and did excellent work. I trusted her immediately and I still do. I now also trust her with my 12 year old, who also adores her.

Ive gone to Dr. Walker for a number of years and Im always impressed with the experience! As odd as it sounds, her level of patient care really shows when it comes to the flossing segment of a 6-month cleaning. Every other dentist Ive gone to in my life pops the floss on my gums and hurts like the dickens every time (Ive got insanely tight teeth). Not Dr. Walker. She knows just the right amount pressure to apply to the floss so I get a great cleaning with no gum popping or pain. Shes also done a wonderful job with my fillings. She takes the time to make sure the filling sits at just the right height in my tooth so I dont even notice afterwards. Youre sure to have a great dental experience with the whole staff too!

Dr Cox and her staff are outstanding. They are extremely gifted not only with the art and science of dental work but they also work very hard at creating a pleasurable experience at the dentist office for their clients. I guess hell must have frozen over because now it IS possible to have a pleasurable experience at the dentist office.

I have two bad wisdom teeth. So I called around to a number of dentist’s and found , what was seemingly the best option, Dr Cox & Walker. I expressed to all of them, that I need a tooth removed was on a budget and paying cash.I am a contractor and do not have health insurance. Dr. Cox’s staff told me they could not give me a price because they would not know until I arrived, understandable to a point. I expected a solution for my issue, all I needed was a tooth removed. Cox & Walker looked at my teeth for 5 mins and did an X-Ray. Then they told me they cannot remove my tooth but still charged me 178$ and recommended me to another dentist. Since I do not have insurance, I wanted to shop around. But they knew it would not be easy and I did not. For some reason Dr.Jordan ’Tooth surgeon’ was the only person they would recommend ?I went to Dr. Jordan and was not happy with the Conditions of the office. The place was dark dingy and dirty. I could not belive this was where they wanted me to go with no other options. I tried to go to another Surgeon in Nashville which is where I live now, and they wanted to redo the initial examination at the original cost, completely nullifying Cox & Walker.When I called Cox & Walker to explain the situation they told me they would not refer me to another surgeon. I dont know what to do, and feel like Cox & Walker took advantage of me knowing they could not remove Wisdom teeth and refused to help when I asked for another surgeon. Why will they only recommend one surgeon ? It’s obvious the dentists are not regulated at all. They do what they want and answer to no one. My tooth is absesed and in pain and they do not care. I am going to get Re-Examined in Nashville by another dentist because at this point, I must doubt there ability.I want my money back !

This is the best dentist Ive ever been to. Very warm, considerate and professional staff. And to top it off, you cant beat the view-- Ive spotted a squirrel or two in my time there.

I broke a tooth on Saturday - knew I needed a crown. Requested an appointment online for the following week. Brenda called me on Monday (before 9 am) and I was set up for an appointment Wednesday. Dr. Cox was amazing as she prepared the crown, despite the fact that I had a very-hard-to-get-at tooth. I highly recommend this dental office - everyone works so well together and always with smiles on their faces.

Can we make it 10 stars? Dr. Sarah and her staff are awesome. My entire family uses this practice and we have never regretted transitioning over.

This is just one experience I had, mind you, but I had a pretty awful couple of appointments with Dr. Cox. She was fairly judgmental during my exam -- questioning why I hadnt gone during a 3-year period, saying I should have just figured it out without insurance. While getting fillings, she was openly berating her assistants and very rough while working on me. I was in significant pain from the shot that she didnt numb enough, and she drilled into my gum on accident and kind of laughed about it. (Again, I dont have dental anxiety!) I had a full-blown panic attack in the chair, while she and her assistants sat there and stared at me -- didnt offer anything, didnt speak to me. She eventually left the room without a word to work on another patient, and the assistant (who she was berating) tried to help me calm down. When she came back, she continued to berate her assistant and while finishing the filling got some of the material on the side of my molar that I cant remove. Several weeks later, Im having issues with the filling she worked on and have to get it fixed. Im extremely disappointed with Dr. Coxs lack of care during my appointment, and I hope nobody with actual anxiety about the dentist experiences this kind of treatment.

Had a badly decayed tooth that needed to be extracted. When I called to schedule, my appointment was set within a week. Dr Cox was very professional and receptive to my needs and budget. She did mention that the tooth was salvageable but followed that statement with a qualifier about cost of saving that one tooth versus all the work I need overall. She even took my trypanophobia seriously. The staff was also very nice and the receptionist even shook my hand! I and my family now have a family dentist!
