My 10 yr old son broke his 2 upper incisors and was in pain. The Doctor didnt care about what he was going through, and spoke harshly to him. He was impatient, disrespectful and his behaviour scared my son who has never had a surgery, and was definitely scared when he saw all the needle and surgical tools on the table. Finally, the doctor refused to treat him and left. We had to go to another clinic (Edenfield Dental Group) who knew how to deal with kids and treated him without any incidence.

They where great with my son. The dentist was great as well as all the dental assistance that stayed with him. I stressed to them that I was more nervous then him and they came and told me what was going on about every 15 mins. One even took a pic of him to share with me plus they all loved my son.

I took my great niece and nephew to them and was surprised that they made people sit outside! What are they going to do when its winter time? Make people freeze to death! My mother is 76 and she wont be able to do that. This place is a joke! I went back with my Grandson to all his appointments and they wont let you do that here. Big red flag! This place also ties your kids down. Ill never take him back there again! My mom should do the same.

We do not let our children have alone time with strangers, this alone time with strangers was something we were not informed of and refused, which triggered one of the employees who sarcastically asked you go to a Christian school?After complaining to a manager of this they called with a cover story by admins or repeating a lie by the employee who sarcastically asked this in the first place, they said it was only procedure to ask what school the patient attends for clerical reasons. The employee did not ask what the school was nor was she taking notes or in front of a screen.... that is a lie.The employee certainly would not have sarcastically asked a middle eastern family if they went to a Muslim school because there would be consequences. Apparently the employee thinks it is socially acceptable to attack Christians and she either lied about it to administration or administration is in agreement.With all of the CRT and anti Christian agendas in the world the only conclusion is that the employee was being a social justice warrior and my complaining and bringing this to the public light will probably result in further attack.*editAfter reading other reviews Im glad we walked out, this place should be investigated.

I went here from when I was about 12-18 years old. In that time they ruined my teeth by doing uncalled for work on them and drilled my teeth so much there’s no structure to them anymore. I’m gonna have to get them all pulled due to their thirst for money. Thanks western heights dental 👌🏼

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had as a parent. First, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional as well as the dentist who owns the practice. My son was supposed to have surgery here and when I called to ask a few questions and to let them know I didnt want certain things done to his teeth they said that they dont let parents dictate what they do in surgery. uhh, hello? This is MY child. Needless to say, my son went for a 2nd opinion and they are doing the surgery the right way. Dont bring your kids here, they will also strap them to a table to do dental work.

This is the best place hands down! I went to a dentist at another place and they made me feel like I was the worst parent for my sons decayed teeth, but when I came here to western heights the drs and nurses made me feel at home and in good hands they told me they can save my sons teeth when no one else wanted to so I give western heights dental a 5 star for treating us like family and taking care of my sons needs thank you all so much for saving my sons teeth! I will send everybody I knows children here in a heartbeat!

I called to reschedule after I got a flat and then was informed that I couldn’t go back with my daughter! After I asked to speak with the owner She told me that it was for the safety of the other children but like Informed her I have an N 95 mask & portable air purifiers and even a shield and that my daughter wouldn’t want to go back alone she likes to hold my hand I was told that with my insurance I could go to 15 different other places and that I should just find somewhere else when I asked her if this was a law she said this was their rules at their office! She was rude and disrespectful not including I felt discriminated against over my insurance since she made sure to though that up!

I havent been to this place since i was in middle school. I am 26 now. Over the past year my back teeth have literally been breaking off. I have a tooth right now that just broke more and prompted action from myself. They drilled my teeth to the point that my teeth are HOLLOW!! i am going to look into legal action. I cant imagine the number of kids (now adults) that this place has screwed over. Please be wary and listen to what your kids tell you

My 8 year old daughter (along with my other children) has been coming to this office well over a year and half, they get so excited to know they are going to the dentist office since we switched to this office! But my daughter recently busted her front 2 top teeth and needed them fixed BADLY! The lady had done such an amazing job at what she had done I almost cried!!!!!!! She made my daughter have her beautiful smile back and has made her not atop looking in the mirror at her new teeth!!!! She done such an amazing job it doesn’t even seem like she had ANY work done! I love this office and will continue to visit with my children as long as they love it as well!! 😊

I will never take my kid back to them I took her n they made everyone wait outside in their car for 3 hours both times we went.. She is currently at a new dentist they also said she had a cavity n she didnt... Iv heard several people complain the same reason I have..

Ive heard and read bad things about western heights dental but in my experience theyve been amazing. I have 4 kids that go here ranging from 5 to 17 and theyve all had great things to say about the staff. Their work is good too. You may wait a tad longer for your appt but once the kids get back there theyre really fast. They have a great system that makes everything run smooth. My kids have never felt mistreated in any way. My 5 year old had work done today and she was extremely nervous about it but they did a great job with her and she said they were all nice the entire time. I definitely recommend them.

Don’t take your children here! They were going to do some dental work on my 5 year old and told me I couldn’t be back in the room with him because he will be in the room where they can strap his body down to a table! Also seen numerous stories similar to mine, major RED FLAG!

I had a wonderful experience at Western Heights Dental today! I had a root canal done and also had a crown put on in the same day! I am super pleased with the doctor that had done my root canal, painless, and super fast! He kept asking me if I was doing okay and informing me of everything he had done.

One of the dentist got mad at me because I was surprised by the cold water and i wasnt used to it and she said something about my age and how i should not be whining but i wasnt instead i just said a little ahh and calmed down and they know i do that i dont know why she got mad

I have never had any problems there. My son went there for 16 years and they always have came out and talked to me before they did any extra work. They pushed hard for my son to get his wisdom teeth removed. My son loved going. My daughter is a heart patient and mentally handicapped. They are so great with her. She enjoys going there. The Drs make sure she is okay and never hurting. They show her what the tools are and how they work before they do anything. They joke around with her to ease any fears. They have been so good to my children and I wouldnt take them anywhere else!🤩

I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. they cause more harm to childern than any amount of good they want to claim they do. Ive seen and read many stories from parents how thier children were completely traumatize by this place to the point of nightmares for weeks. There are even people who are now adults who speak of the god awful things this place done to them as children. I myself being one of them.

They did alot of work on my grandbaby thats five didnt put her to sleep i will never take them back there or her mom and dad wont eather they told them caps but did crowns they should of not done them on her very despoint with is dentist office

I brought my daughter here today for an exam. She has special medical needs and is requiring some work to be done. She’s 5. The staff here went above and beyond to make my little girl feel comfortable. They also made sure I was plenty informed and had ALL my questions answered.I live 45 minutes from this office and will drive all of my children here for their dental needs! I’d give 10 stars if I could! Absolutely top notch!Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl!!!!

My six year old daughter had work done recently and is still in pain and wont even talk about it. She hasnt even talked at all since the appointment. Her teachers at school even have their concerns because she hasnt spoken or eaten anything which is very unusual for her. They wouldnt let me sit back there with her which really upset me. Especially when she came out and her hair was soaked where she cried throughout the entire thing.. She wrote down some things about her experience, one of which said they said bad words around her during the procedure and were very rough with her. She still thought they were nice though.. My two sons (who had previously went) seemed to have okay experiences, besides the fact they had more teeth capped than what I was told they were having done. Im really not sure if we will ever be going back, just for the simple fact of them cussing around a small child like that-as if she was just a dummy setting there and not a real person with sensitive ears. Im just very disappointed because the staff seemed so sweet and caring at first and I thought we had found a great dentist for the kids to grow up seeing...

By my experience with my 4 children at Western Heights was eye-opening. At first it seemed okay but since time went on every time we went it was about more money and more problems they said my children had which concern me because I did not see any issues with my childrens teeth. its all about money. Anything to make extra dollar. Billing my insurance for extra work before they even did a cleaning on them. They were always telling me that my children needed extra work or have cavities that they cannot show me. Big write off there. My kids are not to make them extra money but they should be thinking about what the child really needs, and not for profit. Took my four children to another dentist and they did not have the problems that they were claiming that they had at Western Heights. Keep your kids safe. Nothing but a money gimmick for them.

Today was sadly my sons last time going to Western Heights Dental because of change in insurance. The staff has always been amazing at helping my boy to feel at ease and special. They have always been extremely courteous and professional with us, and they are absolutely phenomenal in making sure that everything runs like a well-oiled machine. They go above and beyond to make sure that both patient and parent is taken care of and well-informed on how to move forward after the visit. We will miss everyone there! Thank you for everything that you have done for my son! Youve made sure to give him a positive perspective on going to the dentist.

I just love this dentist. This was my dentist as a child. They have the best staff around who love their jobs and love our kids just as if they were their own. Yeah you might have to wait a little bit sometimes but it’s worth the wait .

The owner of the Clinic Dr Myers is refreshingly nice and even more so informed in pediatric dentistry. They were very helpful in accommodating around my schedule and helping my child to receive the treatment they needed the same day of their cleaning so I didn’t have to miss work and them miss school for another day!

Dr.Sharp and his staff is great! Ive been going there for 6 years and never had a bad experience. They are very good with kids.

Everyone at Western Heights are always polite and helpful. They take great care of our residents. We are always able to get our youth an appointment quickly. We appreciate all they do for us and our youth!

My son has been going to Western heights dental since he was two they have always been loving and patient with him,,he had to get caps on his teeth and they talked him through every step,even awarded his good behavior with the coins and a free Wendy shake key chain and he was so happy with his service giving. Their is never a long wait,its safe to say trust them 100% with my child. Keep up the great work WHD💕Also when torie was 3yrs old he was running through the house with his dinosaur toy,he then fell and his his front tooth knocking it halfway out,I called Western heights dental and they got him in the same day,his father took him because my nerves was so bad seeing him like that. When they got him torie father was happy and said see it didnt take them know time. WHD had quickly removed his toother properly and neat. He is Now 7 and have both front teeth grew in perfect ✨

Wonderful caring people that genuinely love and take great care of their patients.My grandchildren go there and everyone is always gentle, caring and kind even with the youngest one being only two, screaming and uncooperative.They know how to handle with care without losing their cool (which is a great virtue not everyone has). They take the time to explain all dental needs and listen to your concerns.Sweet, sweet crew ofpeople.I highly recommend Western Heights Dental for all dental needs.

Ive taken my daughter here for the past year and am pleased with them. Its a very busy practice so you do have to wait. Shes had dental work done at Childrens & had a crown replaced in the office today. All of the dentists & employees Ive dealt with are wonderful.

I have not only brought my own children, but I have also brought other Foster children within my care to this office for the past 10 years and our entire experience has been nothing short of PERFECT! I CALLED TUESDAY NEEDING AN EMERGENCY VISIT FOR MY GRANDSON MIKEL AND THEY GOT ME IN IMMEDIATELY THE NEXT DAY! 8:00 AM I ALSO THOUGHT MAYBE THEYD GIVE HIM SOME MEDS AND HE WOULD NEED TO COME BACK ANOTHER TIME FOR WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE BUT NO THEY ASKED IF THEY COULD GO AHEAD AND FIX HIS BROKEN TOOTH SO HE WOULD NOT BE IN ANY PAIN AND WE WERE OUT OF THERE SO FAST AND THEY TREATED HIM SO WELL. My teeth are so messed up and they don’t no what they are doing and they didt tell my mom what they was going to do and they didt let her go back there like I was like 9 or 10 at the time and they was so rude to me well my nails was really long at the time and they was saying if u don’t stop crying I will cut them I was crying bc they was hurting me and I didt have my mom in there.

It would be alot higher if the wait wasnt so long. Having to wait 2 hours for and appointment is uncalled for. I understand they bill the goverment and the more people they see the more they make but this was unreal.

Took my kids here a long time ago, and it was awful, the wait time took forever, they wasnt very friendly and when they would call you back to do like a consult type, they send you back in the waiting room and you lose your seat you had. I take my kids to Knoxville Pediatric Dentistry and we love the atmosphere, the nurses and the drs.

If you have to take youre kids to the dentist,dont bring them to this one. My youngest brother (With autism) , was TIED down for a cleaning.That was the LAST time we set foot at that place. We were never allowed to go to the back with the kids and the wait time was over 2 hours(hard to believe,I know). Staff is rude and overall bad.

Everytime ive went since my cleaning ive been scared because of how i know everything is gonna hurt and they wont comfort me or let me breath so i dont gag but ive gotten gagged several times while my teeth being worked on.

When I went here the lady scraped my gums and said I was bleeding because of all my plaque I did not have any plaque she was describing way too hard and also the same lady scraped my Lip with the plaque scraper and they were really rude there they were customer round you and they have a abused several patients

This dentist office is AWFUL!!! They are rough with the kids which traumatize them to not want to go to any dentist!!!! They are BEYOND RUDE!!!!!! Customer service go a long way! Try using some!!!!
