Poor experience over there. Went for a second opinion on a tooth issue. The rooms are borderline dirty. The dentist recommended me a special toothpaste. It was out of stock, so left my name so they call me once they have received some. The front desk woman (which is obviously not a dentist) tried to sell me something else. 2 weeks later they had not called me back about the toothpaste ... this appointment was basically pointless.Better to follow, Premier Dental Group is supposed to be In Network for Medicaid, but the dentist that took care of me is out of network, so more bill for me.Finally, they decided to retake some x-rays while I had the ones from my previous dentist and insure me they would not bill for it. The x-rays were billed to my insurance ... so not really honest.Would honestly not recommend them.

I can’t begin to even tell you how elated I am about my new smile 😄. I haven’t felt more confident in my life, then now. Dr. Hafner did a wonderful job. She took her time and made me feel so comfortable. Her attention to detail is so precise and calculated. Any questions or concerns that you may have, she has no problem answering them & giving you her honest opinion. The staff and front desk receptionist were really nice and professional. I felt at home coming into the office, I actually look forward to coming in. I have received a wisdom tooth extraction and standard cleaning here. Both times, Premier Dental has been shady. They required me to pay up front prior to my extraction, and ultimately my insurance paid more than Premier told me they would. When I tried to contact Premier about this, they dodged the questions and always told me they would call back after looking into it. They never do call you back.Against my better judgement, I decided to get a cleaning here because it is a convenient location for me. Things seemed to go smoothly, until I began to be contacted by an automatic system about owing an additional $18 for “unspecified preventive treatment”. When I called the office, they said that this was for some covid cost that they never disclosed to the patients, and then they waived the fee. It is apparent that this office is comfortable adding unspecified charges after your visit and hoping that you’ll just pay without questions.The treatments I received here were adequate, but this business is shady. I highly recommend that yougo somewhere else if you insurance will cover it. I do not think Premier Dental can be trusted with your money.

This place is a joke. They gave me a treatment plan & a price... I agreed to it.. I kept all receipts & kept up with what I paid. I was called in 3 different times to redo expressions for a crown that they made. I had to drive 2 hours there & 2 back home, they tried charging me for what they messed up on. I didnt pay it. These people are bad about hidden charges or lying to take your money. I also went in to pull a tooth, but the oral surgeon said it didnt need pulled , but they tried still charging me for it , and harassed me till I made the appointment. Biggest crooks I ever saw. I was in the lobby one day & a lady was at the window checking in & the receptionist tired to pull the same story on her as she did me to gain 185$ the lady was going to give it to them till I pulled her to the side told her they are crooks... They checked her account & said she was good. They add services to your appointment without telling you or needing it & tries making you pay for it. I am so glad my treatment plan is done I nearly didnt make it out of there before going off on them rip offs. A few doesnt know what theyre doing, unorganized, and talks more than work. I dont recommend anyone going to this place & if you do just be aware and keep receipts they are rip offs & over charges people. They need shut down. I had to block them from texting my phone saying I owed 200$ or my credit ruined. I reported then to the better business bearu.

I went to premier with Groupon and I am starting to think it was a big mistake. I went for a consultation 2 months ago $4600 for braces. At consultation they took pics and orthodontist stuck his head in for a minute or 2. No one told me I needed to get my teeth cleaned prior to braces being put on and I didn’t think to do it because when I first had braces they cleaned my teeth prior to putting braces on so I thought it was due diligence. I got a agreement for the braces and scheduled future appt. Fast forward to my appt to get braces put on, the assistant did not know I had braces previously because no one cared to note it when I had consultation. The assistant was very nice and it is not her fault because she was not there when consultation was done. She advised me that she was going to clean my teeth because I still had glue on them from my previous set of braces. No problem. She cleaned the top and informed me that the hygienist was going to finish the bottom at 2 pm after she puts my top row of braces on and then she will put bottom row on afterwards. The receptionist informed me on the way out to the lobby to wait until 2 pm that I could come back next week. I agreed to come that next week while off. I come back a week later and the receptionist told me the appt was only for me to get my teeth cleaned and it would be $300. I was shocked because I thought they were finishing up what they started at my last appt. When they started cleaning my teeth at my 1st appt. I don’t have dental insurance and that’s not their fault, but the communication at this office sucks! Cost should always be discussed and agreed upon before anything is done especially when the customer is paying out of pocket and I was not informed of a cleaning fee. Then to top it all off they text me to confirm appt and I let them know about my concerns she gave fake apology and then told me through text message that I have periodontal disease like how was that not communicated to me at consultation or at 1st brace appt! I text message them back letting them know that they should have been communicated that to me she said I hope whoever you go to for treatment does more than just clean your teeth because you have a disease. Seems as though every dime I thought I was saving they are trying to get back. The agreement I signed in the office doesn’t match the one they gave me at consultation either. I’m so disappointed.

The workers are extremely rude and mean to my gf for no reason , she was to scared to go back bc of how rude they were so we transferred her to sb else . dont go here . 2/10

Worst experience, I have ever had at a dentist office. I hoping the problem that I experienced can be corrected in a professional manner.Update: A few days later I received a phone call regarding my dental visit. I was immediately rescheduled back into the office to have the problem corrected with no out pocket cost on my behalf for the procedure. I’m very pleased with how professional Tess handled the situation on behalf of Premier Dental. Thank you for your concern and resolving the matter in a very, very professional manner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff is so kind and helpful. When I had my tooth pulled the dentist was so nice and was very gentle and understanding of the fact that i was very nervous. I am so thankful that I have found this group and I have told everyone about them

Our whole family has been coming here since before it changed names. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I enjoy the atmosphere there. The wait definitely isnt long and they are very proficient in their work.

They are horrible here. Most of the staff is rude. They quote you one price and you end up paying something totally different. And even after you confirm your appointment they still call and text you before 8 am. This will be my last visit here

My mom did a Groupon and it was 30.00, for a braces consult, they sent her to a collection agency, they have put dings put on my moms credit.I was under 18 when she got this.She has called them many times, they have called her many times. Oh we are sorry it is our mistake. But it never ends.If you are using a Groupon dont use them. This company doesnt know if it is going up or down.

Very poor orthodontic services- my permanent retainers broke 3 times in as many months and when I requested a refund they refused and insisted on repairing their work or replacing with a different kind of retainer. After my retainers would break, they could only be repaired on thurs/fri so I had to live with sharp metal bits in my mouth until then. They removed the retainers and 2 months later- I still have glue all over the back of my teeth. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was lovely and the dentist was great. I highly discourage anyone from using their orthodontic services however.

They are always very nice but when I bring my granddaughter here it’s an all day process. They overbook every time and I don’t have time to sit all day waiting. If you miss an appointment with them you will be billed for their time. What about my time?? I’m too busy to wait and I get very impatient.

They are really with my grandson. They always have good sales on xray and teeth cleaning for people without insurance.

Great experience! My almost two year old chipped his tooth the night before and they got me in right away even as a new patient. They were a complete blessing and have VERY reasonable prices. I went here and the dentist told me I needed to much work done, that my teeth had decay and all of my fillings needed to be drilled out. I was also told I needed a root canal. Seemed weird, so I drove all the way back home (4 hours) to check with my previous dentist. She told me that no, none of that was needed. One month later I come back for a cleaning and see the same dentist who doesn’t remember me. I was told “wow your teeth look great! No issues!” Soooo guess I don’t need that root canal then huh?EDIT/UPDATE: they saw my review and called me trying to see what I meant. I explained and they said maybe I misunderstood and I said I most certainly did not, it was made very clear. Then they made lame excuses about how before they made a management change things were different. After making them tell me what day they made the management change this happened after they did so, rendering their excuse useless. They clearly wanted me to change me review.

First let me start off by saying I’m beyond surprised that my kid came out of that office so happy! This was his first time at the dentist (age 6), I know a bit late in the game only because sadly he was deathly afraid. Had several awful experiences at other clinics and he just wouldn’t have it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that they allow you to go to the back with them. This helped tremendously! His nerves were calm and the dental hygienist were so sweet and walked him through the cleaning the whole time. The Dr. herself was so informative she was amazing, and gave me suggestions on things we need to get done to ensure that his teeth remain nice and healthy . I’m just so relieved that my son is such an amazing experience he couldn’t wait to get back to school to tell his friends about his experience. We are happy we have found an amazing dental office not far from where we live and that really takes the parents into consideration.The staff is ultra friendly and more than willing to make your visit a pleasant one. In all this time, I have had numerous dental procedures done, and I have never had one moment of pain or discomfort. One stop shop, you can get all your dental needs at once. If you want a good doctors, with no pain and no hassle, I recommend them 100%.

Wonderful place. New management. The doctor and staff are very friendly. My husband even switched to them . The dentist is also great with kids-I took my 1 year old for her first check-up and she was great with her. The dental hygienist was exceptional. She was very thorough & explained all the procedures. The dentist answered all my questions. I would recommend the office to all my friends & family.They have convenient hours and I didnt have to wait long for my first appointment or when I need to change appointment times.

Generally speaking, no one likes to go to the dentist and I just moved from Nashville. But a trip to Premier Dental is actually very enjoyable. Its a top-notch professional experience from the time you walk into the sun-lit lobby to when you settle up with the receptionist, who is a delight. Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and confident that youre getting the best dental care available in Knoxville. Very affordable and convenient . Highly recommended.

Awesome Dentist and great staff . Very professional and Straightforward of what needs to be done. They offer all services, my daughter got her braces there. Very convenient and they have easy payment plans.I live 40 miles away but I’m more comfortable coming to this Dental clinic than the One across my Street. I highly recommend it .

I’m a student at UTK and my preferred dentist is based in Brentwood, Tennessee. I came to this dentist because at the time they were the only ones open for tenncare insurance. Not only did they do my fillings, they left a literally hole between my never and the filling. My dentist in Brentwood was appalled when I went back with tooth pain because it was so bad. I know have to get a root canal due to this issue. I would never wish this pain on my worst enemy. On top of that, before I knew about the hole, I scheduled another filling appointment. My appointment kept getting pushed back months for no reason, come to find out, they lost they’re tenncare contract. Instead of being professional and letting me know, they repeatedly moved my appointment weeks/months out hoping to get their contract back I guess. The day of my filling, the lobby was so full there were no seats left, there were people in the lobby who had been there for hours waiting because they’re prone to over booking. Don’t go to this dentist, I will be looking into possible legal action due to the suffering and stress this place has caused me.I was also told I had 13 cavities, when my dentist back home said I had a max of 5...

Let’s be honest I don’t like people in my mouth. So when it’s time to go to the dentist, better believe I will ask questions. Well today I dealt with McKinley H. at Premier Dental on S. concord. Not only was he knowledgeable of the process and willing to explain everything he was doing but he made me feel welcomed. The over all process took about an hour but the people were friendly, the environment was friendly and it everyone had a smile on their face. Speaking as someone who knows how hard it is to deal with the public, smiling faces are always a good sign. So in my opinion “Premier Dental is one of the best places in Knoxville to get your teeth looked at”

I went online and selected this office through my insurance. I scheduled the appointment online as well. When I arrived the office was not even open. I called multiple times and finally left. I did not realize this was the same office my daughter goes for her braces. They have made multiple mistakes in scheduling over the years. If her insurance would cover another office I would have changed a long time ago. I will be finding myself another dentist.

The staff was very unprofessional. my wife took my son in there to have his braces checked. And she asked the girl checking him out what all they were doing today. Her response was your the mom you should know! Talking down to my wife and my son on how he should take care of his braces. And told my son you get 3 strikes or we will remove your braces and kick you out of there program. Very rude and just being very unprofessional. And the wait time is hours on hours most of the time. Very unprofessional and rude.

5 stars for Kim and the front end ladies! The temporary dentist they have, Dr. Hill, could use some patience and be kinder toward her supportive staff. She was rather condescending towards all of them. She also does not know how to properly go about nerve blocks and needs to reeducate herself on the procedure. Told me to come back in a month that they didnt work in me due to my nerves, stress or hormones.

Not many dental offices would see someone with no dental insurance on a Saturday to boot and manage to make the pain stop. The whole team made sure I was comfortable, explained the financing to me, and completed a root canal with no prior appointment. The office lady knew I was in pain and went out of her way to help me get out of pain. I will only use these folks from now on.Thank you for a great service.

To start, the wait time for an appointment is always over an hour.Worse, they never seem to be very clear on the treatment plan. There always seems to be a great deal of confusion and miscommunication between the 2 dentists and the staff.Finally, I had 3 cavities filled, and still experienced pain 2 weeks later, only to go back and be told that I had another cavity they somehow missed the first time. When I went back to have that one filled, nobody seemed to know which tooth it was, at one point saying it was on the right side of my mouth, when it was supposed to be on the left side. Then they said it was on a different tooth on the left.I got up and left. I have never walked out of a medical office before but I was so aggravated and upset by all this, I was not going to allow them to do anymore procedures.Do not go here, for anything. I’d give it less than 1 star if I could.

Just want to brag on Matthew Burks! He works at the front desk and I watched him act very professional and keep a smile on his face with a great attitude while he dealt with several negative impatient people! There is usually a wait time but everyone is so nice and professional and you just have to be patient🙂

Liars! They lost their contract with TennCare and a few other insurance carriers and called me THREE times to reschedule my daughter’s appointment because the dentist had an “emergency”. They had no intention of ever telling any of their patients! I happened to hear it through the grapevine. They admitted it when I confronted them about it. We waited months for an appointment, just to find out that we needed a new dentist! They were hoping to get their contracts back before ever having to tell anyone I guess. So dishonest! Avoid them at all costs!

I normally don’t like to leave review but I know someone out there is like me. I hated the dentists. I had a very bad experience when I used to live in the Caribbean many years ago, so I wouldn’t go. But when I move to the state many people I associate myself with highly recommend I go to this dental office. When I finally did, the staff at the front desk was professional and friendly. My hygenists Alyssa is AMAZING! And Doctor Hill was just Different from the other dentist I had in the past.Dr Hill, was patient, caring and he didnt leave the room until I fully understood what was recommended or any questions or concern I might have.This office is far better than what I could have hope for in a dental office.Thursday was my first time in that office. I went for a cleaning and came out not only with a clean teeth but lots of knowledge about why its important to floss and keep my six months appointments.I didn’t know that a healthy gum can help prevent diabetes!That day I needed several fillings. I was overwhelmed and my anxiety was at 100% but Doctor Hill and his wonderful assistant explain everything that was going to take place and to make it short I didn’t felt a thing. I listen to my music while getting my fillings done.Guys! I recommend you visit my dental office if you are like me full of anxiety, doesn’t like dental office. Doctor Hill, Alyssa, Amanda just a few people I’ve come across will make your visit comfortable and pain free plus you’ll leave with lots of knowledge and the smile you deserve.I’m greatly for my new dental home.

If there were a negative stars option, that’s what I’d give. Worst place ever. It should be called Dollar General Orthodontics since it is the most generic option. It’s like they found the people who are the very worst at what they do (Orthodontist all the way to receptionist) and said You all must work here. If at all possible, avoid this place like the plague. All these negative reviews are 100% accurate!!

We have had 2 of our 3 children there multiple times and have experience the best care and attention every time. I recommend this practice and all of the Doctors there. Some days are very busy, when your great at what you do ppl line up. Thank you DR Sawaf.

This place forced more and more dental work on my 6 year old claiming it was needed,turns out according to another dentist he was wrong. This place is fraudulent and needs to be shut down. My kid went thru weeks of suffering for baby teeth. Did the same on my 3 year old as well. Do not use this dentist. They are money grabbing lying trash. I dont know how the law hasnt caught up with these crooks. Hopefully soon some jail time or fines find this place.

This place is like a scene out of a horror movie.. Im so glad they lost contract with tenn care bc I was able to find a great orthodontist although I have to drive to Maryville its so worth it!!!! If there was a negative star thats what I would rate.. I really pray there is an investigation into this practice

If I could give no stars I would. I had a consultation made back in May and was told they would call me when they contacted my insurance to give me a quote on what the prices would be. I have been calling all this past week and keep being told someone is going to call me. I waited on hold on Wednesday for over an hour to someone picking and telling me to hold again for another 30 mins. So I decided to go visit them in person because now I have a tooth hurting. The guy at the counter who had gauges in his ears could have cared less for me being in pain, and still could not give me a price or an appointment date. Apparently because he had to contact my insurance This is something two months ago he said he was going to do. I have the money to pay for what my insurance doesnt cover, plus I have one of the best insurances you can find. The man promised me he was going to call me yesterday, I waited all day and nothing. Well needless to say I am going to search for a different dentist and find someone who actually cares for there patients and doesnt lie to them. Both times I have been in the office is was completely packed, there wasnt even a place to sit. Why in the world would they schedule so many patients at once, to keep them waiting for hours? I do not recommend this office, save yourself the TIME and find another dentist.

Premire Dental is such liars my 11 year old son is in dire need of braces the oral surgeon wrote up the paper work they told me they sent in all the info to tenncare to get their approval just to find out they never sent any of his paper work to tenncare and they NEVER called to let me know they lost their contract with tenncare. If anyone needs a really good dentist for your kids take them to pediactric dental in west knox they are wonderful...

Absolutely terrible. The place is always packed, and were always waiting at LEAST an hour past our scheduled appointment time. Its ridiculous! Not to mention they dont communicate well with you about your childs treatment, and you arent allowed to go back with your child. Avoid this place like the plague! We will be switching ASAP!!

This is the worst place EVER!! Always overbooked. So many people in waiting room at one time. Should be against codes. People standing outside and in cars.What are these people thinking. Staff is rude also. This place should be closed down!!!

My kids have been going here since it was named orthodontic designs I’m not sure if the Dr have changed but it is awful now. To start out my kids went in for cleaning and I was told my son to was all good no cavities and that my daughter needed one filling so I left and scheduled my daughters filling for the following week a few days later they called my husbands phone to remind me of my apponintment for my daughter and also they surgery for my son at that point my husband was confused and called me and said you didn’t tell me our son had to be out to sleep for work I said he doesn’t. I ended up calling them and they said there must have been a misunderstand that he has to come in and be put to sleep for work I was like ok. He wasn’t allowed to eat all day and he’s only 5yrs old his appointment was at 3p.m. We wait 3 hours just to be told that they couldn’t get to him today. I was so livid overall just unprofessional dentist ever and we have already switched to another dentist.

I waited 4 and a half hours to be seen after being told 3 times my wait would be no longer than 45 minutes. Very unprofessional approach to continuously lie when they knew the person with the doctor I was seeing had major complications. My appointment was at 12 and I didnt get seen until 4:30 and did not leave until 6. Dr. Danielle was friendly and professional, but the front desk employees made my experience horrible.

I had my cavities filled on Monday. I am still hurting on the top left side of my jaw, I have a hole where they stuck me with the needle, I have a tingling feeling on the left side of my face, on my cheek, the fillings that were drilled down are sharp and cutting into my cheek, I cant feel my back teeth on the right side of my jaw touch when I bite down, and I can barely open my mouth because it hurts. Its swollen because this lady said, Im sorry honey, Im just trying to get it done. SHE WAS RUSHING!!! I am really not looking forward to my next appointment.

Can’t even stick a needle in a vein correctly. To call themselves “professionals” is a vast overstatement. How they graduated dental school is literally beyond me.
