I’ve been self conscious about my smile for some time now. I’ve put off taking care of my mouth for a long time. After doing some searching I came across Dental Partners and got an appointment quickly. My initial appointment was a breeze. Dr. Patten and the dental assistant (I can’t remember her name 😔) were super nice. Very easy to communicate and work with. The Hygienist, Emily, was also AMAZING! She took very good care of me on my second appointment. I still have a ways to go but for the first time in a long time I have more confidence in my smile and I’m grateful for the kind and knowledgeable staff at Dental Partners. Highly recommend!!!

I had an abscessed baby tooth that head been hurting me for a few weeks and luckily Dr. Patten had a cancellation. He was able to pull my tooth and I feel so much better. I was so relieved because I was afraid I would have to go to an oral surgeon after diagnosis and be in further pain.

I have never been more comfortable going to the dentist as I have with Dr. Patton and his staff. They are super nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Patten is the best dentist I’ve ever met!! He’s kind, gentle, smart, funny—I get very anxious going to any dentist (and it’s getting worse as I get older); Dr. Patten makes my experience a great one. He knows what he’s doing, listens well, and his sense of humor helps keep my anxiety under control. He explains what’s going on with my teeth in a clear, complete way. He also has great staff. I wish I could recall everyone’s name, but from Jessica at the front desk to Amanda at chairside to Emily the hygienist, they and their coworkers are all very nice, and help make the whole experience better.

I went for the 1st time this morning and I was very impressed. Super friendly people and very laid back. The dentist himself went with me everything without pushing me at all. The hygienist (Christie) was awesome. Very friendly and very thorough. I was more pleased than anywhere Ive ever been.

Went to Dr. Patten for a second opinion. He and his staff are so comforting and caring. I was a nervous wreck (severe dental phobia) and they put me at ease and fixed my issue right away. Dr. Patten and his staff explained everything they were doing and went at a speed I could handle. I can’t thank them enough for all their care. I can honestly say I have found my new forever dentist.

Had a bonded retainer wire behind my front bottom that popped loose on one side glued back in by then (5 minute procedure). Good experience that time. Went back a week & half later for a 6-month cleaning. The same side broke loose while they were flossing under it. They wouldn’t repair it during this visit. Remember it’s just a 5-minute repair (dental resin bond with a UV light). I was given a future appointment 2 weeks out. Nice customer service to make me wait 2 weeks considering they broke it themselves this time. Apparently the repair a week & a half also wasn’t done so good if their cleaning procedures can bust it loose again. Would have been 5 stars if they had just dealt with the issue while I was there versus leave me 2 weeks out like this.

I had a good visit to have have my teeth cleaned at Dental Partners. My dental tech was thorough yet gentle while she was canning my teeth giving me breaks when needed. She, also, gave me a fluoride treatment then set up my nest appt.

I love Dr. Patten and all the staff, as someone with crippling anxiety towards dentists after horrible experiences they expertly know how to get me relaxed and laughing. I always feel comfortable and safe, they explain everything they do, are very gentle and patient, and your comfort and pain-free experience is what they focus on.In fact, in my latest appointment Dr. Patten gave me the choice between the painful general numbing shot or a local gel that would wear off quicker (and be less painful and traumatic). I took the local but he insisted that if I felt ANYTHING I was to tell him and he would give me the shot so I wouldnt hurt, which no dentist has EVER done for me. And when he has to give the shot, he doesnt forcefully shake your head around like a magic eight ball, if he has to touch your cheek or move it around he asks first and does so gently. For someone who has trauma and a deep seated fear of being hurt, he makes sure I feel safe and cared for.Seriously, I could go on for hours. I would happily pay them more for the good work they do, its worth it to be treated like a human being and for more than just my money for once.

My dental hygenist was wonderful. She was professional, easy to be around, and full of excellent information.

Beware! Staff does not read allergies!! I wrote on my intake form that Im allergic to acrylic, and even reminded them prior to the procedure. Staff assured me there was no acrylic in their dental material they would be using. A few days later, I ended up back in their office with a burning tongue. The dental assistant blamed menopause and my thyroid which was also listed on my form. (Now, they are searching for a reason other than to take blame for not reading this page before.) When that didnt fly with me, the assistant said it was all in my head. As I laid in the chair with my mouth opened, I saw her from my peripheral vision circle her temple with her index finger to mimic crazy. When I persisted that it was due to an allergy because I am allergic to acrylic nails material, the dentist; Dr. Andrew Patten picked up a random tube off the tray, acted like he read it, and dismissively said, Nope, no acrylic here. I went home and waited, but the burning didnt subside. My husband called and asked what could be done. The office manager said that unless they knew for sure it was their products, they couldnt do anything about it. My husband asked for samples of the materials so I could get a skin test so they would believe me. The office manager prepared a baggie full of the products to have a skin test and xeroxed 44-pages of the ingredients listed in the materials in my mouth, and my entire patient record where it clearly says ALLERGIC TO ACRYLIC. As you can see from the photos Im not only allergic to acrylic, but quite allergic to many of the other components in their products. I had to see a dermatologist for testing and even after enduring this to provide proof, they would do nothing to remedy it. He couldnt believe they were calling his office to complain about treating me! I ended up having to travel to Chattanooga to a more non-toxic dentist and have it removed, cleaned out and re-done for an out of pocket expense of a $1,000+ (not including time, inconvenience.) That dentist discovered a reddened and a painful socket once the material was removed and X-rays showed an unseated, entirely-way-too large-for-my-mouth crown. He was appalled at the shoddy work and dismissive attitude regarding an allergy that was clearly marked on my intake form. When my husband called this office to explain this, the office manager had suddenly changed, the dentist argued that the bonding material wasnt placed on my skin and they would do nothing for me because he didnt approve the skin test. (A dentist that doesnt know that your gum line is your skin? Wow.) They offered to return my money since I had to pay out of pocket a second time to have it redone, but then renege on the offer the next day? To say that this place is discombobulated is an understatement. We should have sued this place. They not only didnt care about me and what they had done to me, but my husband had accompanied me to the office those few times, was also a patient and they knew he had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor which was why we were moving. There is zero empathy here, the staff is uneducated and unprofessional and the office would best be run by Larry, Curly and Mo. Do not get dental work done here!

Im terrified of all things dental. I am so pleased with the treatment I receive at this office, from staff to the Dentist. They always explain my options before any work is done, which helps alot. I never feel rushed if I have questions and they dont work until I understand everything. Its changing the way I feel about having to see the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Patten.

We love this place! It is small and comfortable. It is never too crowded and everyone is so easy going and friendly. Most of us have anxiety when going to the dentist, but not here! All of the staff members are kind and patient and perform great work! You will not be disappointed! Its a hidden gem.

First visit here. I had a severe toothache. I called them 30 min to closing. They got me in very next morning. Called back within 15 min (which is great)Dentist was very friendly. I only had x-ray today and a procedure in week or so. Im firmly believing i found my new dentist.

The dentists are amazing and should get 5 stars. However I have had several issues with billing. I have had an instance where I was charged more than allowed and they have billed out things wrong for more of a claim leaving a higher balance than what she be owed. After discussing it isnt right they still turned it over for collection. So I have contacted my insurance about the issues to see if they can resolve why.

If you are a new patient, dont be deceived by their advertising of $59 for cleaning. I signed up for cleaning, but they did not do cleaning but charged me $59. They are so-called experts and will always find a way to justify what they do. They said I need a deep cleaning which will cost me $515. They gave me a packet containing a brush and toothpaste, which I returned because I already have them! Wasting $59 hurts esp. when you are a student. Dentists can be better than that.

It was a great experience thus far.Today was only a consultation and TXPLAN.My husband and I were very pleased with the dentist. He explained the treatment plan well and what we needed to do.He answered all of our questions and discussed different options. I don’t look forward to having the work done but I do feel I will be in good hands.We saw Dr.Patten.UPDATE 5/2019Now have upper and lower partial and I’m very pleased. Had first cleaning after taking care of more urgent issues. I’m not a fan of cleanings just because in the past it isn’t always comfortable. I realize sometimes it is needed to give a little deep cleaning etc. I was extremely pleased with my cleaning today. From the cleaning to the hygienist it was a good and productive experience.Dr.Patten is great to work with and works with you until your happy. Also easy to talk to and work towards what you want. My husband and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

I loved my experience with Dental Partners! The facility itself is small, but cozy and clean. Barbara took my x-rays and cleaned my teeth, she was so sweet and kind and obviously very knowledgeable. She took excellent care of me, and made me feel comfortable. She did a fantastic job and I hope to have her next time. Dr. Hurley came in after my cleaning to take a look at my x-rays and dental pictures, asked me a question or two, made a suggestion and that was the extent of it. It didnt need to be a long drawn-out meeting because I didnt have any issues whatsoever. Overall I was in the office for an hour max and that includes my wait time. I was very pleased with the efficiency of the office and with Dental Partners!

Appointment scheduled at 3:50pm. I arrived at 3:40pm as a new patient. With 15 minutes, I was taken back. I had a cracked tooth requiring a crown. I decided to have a temporary crown and it took approximately an hour. Dr. Patton was extremely nice and explained things. Would recommend and will return for permanent crown.

This was my first visit and I will definitely keep returning! They are so nice here and talk to you like theyve known you forever. Wonderful people and great service!

My fiance chipped a front tooth days before our engagement photo shoot. He came here and they told him it would be a $300 job, we had to pay out of pocket because he doesnt have dental insurance. Money we didnt have but had little choice. They spent 15 minutes fixing it. The next day, it fell out while he was driving to work. He went back and they fixed it a second time claiming it would stay. It fell out 32 hours later. He called and asked for his money back, they made him make another appointment to come in claiming they needed his card number to refund the money. So he made an appointment (missing more work) when he came to his appointment they refused to refund him saying the only thing they could do was put the money towards a $1000 procedure that would fix his tooth permanently. So now we are out $300, with our wedding in less than 12 days and no money to have his tooth fixed. $300 may not be a lot to some people but for us we are extremely tight because of it with NOTHING to show for it. Very disappointed in this place 😡

Was my first visit to the dentist in years. (Blessed with good teeth) The staff made the visit really comfortable and smooth. Teeth cleaning was easy and non invasive, doctors were knowledgeable and helped make things easy to understand. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Dentist is fantastic, from what I hear. Office staff lacking in basic fundamental math skills or human decency. My aunt had several extractions done. She was given and estimate prior to this appoinment--which she was fine with. When the day of her appointment came, she was given a different total, which she was, again, fine with. They called her about a week later saying that she owed $70 additional to the total that they gave her on the actual appointment. Simply ridiculous.

Let’s begin by saying I’m terrified of dentist but when I get to the office the waiting room is a comfy living room area and the staff greeted me and was so nice. When I got in the back Amanda was so sweet and talked to me the whole time which eased my anxiety. Then in comes the dentist Andrew Patten who was even sweeter and joked the whole time. This was my first visit and I love it here. Hope it’s the same when I get my tooth pulled next week. Went back today 6-11 and got my tooth pulled and it wasn’t as bad as I though it would be, maybe because of the laughing gas.

Could not explain billing. Very huffy front girl. Front tooth looks like a horse tooth and not color of others. Will not go back. It was for my mom cause they take Medicare Cigna. My dentist doesnt. I see why now.

On Wednesday, I was well taken care of by the wonderful hygienist Tabitha! It had been 4 months or so since my last dental hygiene appointment, and Tabitha gave me a professional and thorough clean that left me feeling refreshed and confident in my smile. I was examined by Dr. Hunley, and I received the same high quality and comfortable care that he has given me for the past 20 years. He always asks me if Im hurting or if hes making me uncomfortable because of his commitment to my comfort. His gentleness and expertise have brought generations of patients to the office knowing theyll get great quality dental care while being treated with the utmost respect.

Had top teeth pulled and got top plate of dentures in fall of 2018 and still have trouble with them. Was informed today, that a perm. reline was $200 more. Total ripoff. Very lacking in office communication

We never even made it into the exam room because after I filled out all the paperwork, they informed me cleanings for my 2 kids would be over $500. Obviously a mix up with what insurance actually covers, but the 2 women behind the counter were so incredibly rude about it that I wouldnt even think about going back.

I have gotten a filling and extraction done here and with both experiences​ I will say I was quite pleased. The staff is friendly and the quality of work is super. I recommend all to come here.

I only had X-rays and a consultation done, but everyone was super nice. I didnt feel judged or uncomfortable, despite that I hadnt seen a dentist in 12 years. Dr Patton was super nice and went thru all my options. They gave me a dental treatment plan and set me up with appointments to have a little done at a time, since I dont have insurance and am paying cash they give a discount.

So impressed!! I had a cracked tooth, they got me in the same day! They already processed all my insurance info when I got there....waited less than 5 minutes and was taken back. Less than another 3 minutes and the dr was in. Staff so kind and friendly, and efficient!! Had to get root canal, they fit me right in and was done within an hour!! And they have extended hours!!! Great place!!

Ive been coming here for two years. Ive had a few different procedures done with no issues. Ive never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for my appointment, the staff is courteous and professional, and Ive been completely satisfied with all of the work Ive had done. I cant say I enjoy going to the dentist, but they do their best to make you as comfortable as possible.

I have been using Dental Partners in Fountain City for years. The staff members are always very friendly. My appointments always start when theyre supposed to. Ive never had a bad experience with them. One time, Dr. Hunley even came in on a Saturday to remove a piece of a tooth cleaning utensil that had broken off and became wedged between my teeth, and he did not even charge any extra. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everyone was so nice and willing to help and the Dentist was such a sweetheart. I went back to get dentures and was not at all happy and i expressed to them i did not like anything about the dentures and they made me feel like they was not interested in how i felt and now im stuck with something i do not like or want . How ever it is a very good place for other dental needs and will continue to recommend Dental Partners to friends.

I would like to preface this review by stating that this is not my typical office or dentist, they scheduled me for an emergency service when my other office would not.I found the staff to be very kind and attentive. The attending dentist listened to my concerns, asked questions to be sure that he was meeting my needs and performed an excellent service.After this experience, they may very well become my regular office!
