Wow! I don’t know where to start. All the staff at this dentistry were kind, caring and professional. Starting with the check-in, to the hygienist to the dentist himself. All were knowledgeable of their jobs and did an outstanding job explaining everything from my insurance benefits to my cleaning and all the way through my treatment options. I would recommend this dentist to anyone seeking treatment for dental issues. Thank you Dr Claybough and staff.

The best way to describe the attitude of this office is kindness. I was a first time patient with an incredibly painful tooth. They did all the right things for me, connected me with the right specialists, and within 24 hours of walking through their door, I was on my way back to good health and pain free. Darell Claybough DDS and his wife are. Very professional yet they also have good hearts and take time to get to know you. I believe we found our life time dentist. Highly recommend!!!I have had follow up appointments and they treat you so good . Mandy is very sweet at the check in. Everyone there is great. The work I had was top notch. Highly recommended.

Dr. Spears and Tabitha were amazing! Best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. The front staff was super friendly, caring and helpful at walking you through the process. For those of you worried about corona virus this office is an example of what to do. They follow the guidelines to the T without making the process difficult. Once I was taken back I was impressed with the state of the art technology they had in the office and how spacious and clean it was. Tabitha took full mouth radiographic images and intra oral images with a camera (which were displayed on a 65” tv monitor in front of you) to show you exactly what was going on and to help you understand your treatment plan. Besides having a great personality she did a great job at cleaning my teeth, and it didn’t hurt a bit!Dr Spears is a gentleman and a scholar. He has a great bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet him. He takes the time to know you as a person, understand your concerns and what your end goal is. I did not ever feel rushed or pressured into any treatment plan like some places I’ve been in the past. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Spears and his staff.

Was experiencing a good deal of pain and wasn’t able to get in to see my normal dentist. They fit me in right away and were extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was a great enough experience that I plan to make them my regular dentist moving forward.

Dr. Clabough is the best out there. Down to earth, communicates what he is doing the whole time so you know exactly what is happening. You can tell his experience shines through every time. The staff is perfect: polite, efficient, warm to talk to, and know exactly what they are doing.I went in for a crown, and even after numbing and crown temporary, I was out in less than 45 minutes from the time I sat down.Great location for a great office!

Very thorough exam. The staff were awesome and explained everything. I highly recommend this office.

If I were to rate the quality of the cleaning I received, I would give this review more than one star. The hygienist was very capable and did a wonderful job. However, when Dr. Spears assessed my teeth he reported that I needed 2 crowns on my left side which would cost over $1,300. Since this is not a small investment I chose to have a second opinion. Upon that visit, new X-rays were taken as the ones sent over were too grainy to be used and it was discovered that I had one VERY small cavity. I feel taken advantage of to say the least. I would use extreme caution if you ever choose Dr. Spears as your dentist.

Great staff, state of the art equipment. The only complaint would be that some of the fees werent fully explained. I suppose I should have asked about them in more detail but overall it was a good experience.

Dr. Spears and his staff are amazing!! I love that the doctors use a whole body approach when providing dental care. Our mouths have a lot to do with the health of our bodies, and Im so glad Ive learned that from this practice. Its changed my whole outlook on how I care for my teeth, and now I can pass that on to my kids, too.

My wife and I both have had major dental work with Dr Spears and staff. Excellent experiences. We’ve had two less than positive experiences with two other dentists and very positive experiences with another dentist, Dr Kizer. But unfortunately Dr Kizer is not in our dental network. Dr Spears, on the other hand, is more insurance friendly and is in our network. And he is a very good, and mature, dentist. It’s extremely hard to find a dentist you like and we are very fortunate to have found Dr Spears. His main office is in Maryville, but we have seen him at his Choto office. Great dentist. Great staff.

I believe they would have done good work for me and was thankful to have been referred to them. However, make sure to ask before going to an appointment if your insurance is accepted. I spent a lot of time making the drive out there, getting there and having an xray, and impression of my teeth and filling out a lot of paperwork only to then be told by them that their in Network status with United Healthcare will terminate in 5 days. This was a big waste of my time and a true disappointment but a definite learning experience of what to avoid in the future.

Dr Spears has been our family dentist for years. He is amazing, his staff is amazing. We are so lucky to have him in Knoxville!!

Tabitha aka Golden Scaler aka Queen Tabeetha, Dr. Clabough and Daphne are all top notch professionals. Ive had similar work done in another state that required numbing, that was not necessary here. The procedure was virtually pain-free and a pleasant experience overall. I highly recommend them and would not have this work done anywhere else.
