Superb staff, great location, physicians are always ready to listen and help.

Personable and takes his time with the client conversation. Glad I found him as a primary care physician. Just reading some of the negative reviews, and they have very little to do with Dr Butchers care or expectations from a doctor.

After more than 20 years of great care by Dr. Butcher, who is a very caring individual, I have been denied healthcare. He knows everything about me and I know he cares. It is a shame that the system keeps him from doing what he wants to do, which is help. I just needed to refill prescriptions for HBP and an anti-depressant. But I was denied access to even see the nurse practitioner. It makes me very sad that I will probably never see him again. I highly highly recommend him as a general practitioner. He is a warm and gentle person And a very good doctor!

Dr. Butcher is absolutely amazing. He really takes the time to listen and evaluate your problems and concerns. He knows how to make you feel comfortable and at ease. My son likes him too!

Very disturbed about how they treatpeopke who can not wear mask. The visit was for my daughter not me and they refused to see her. thier staff was not wearing a mask and touching everything. I was willing to halfway comply due to anxiety issues by wearing it half. a staff member said it was ok and we agreed. then another staff member says its not ok and causes a big scene in front of my daughter. all the while the manager was arguing about the situation with her mask half way down. They need to make terms clear prior to visit, and if its a policy, they need to enforce thier staff before making a uncomfortable scene to embarrass me and my family. I am a blood borne pathogen trainer, OSHA outreach authorized trainer, and I teach what is effective and what isnt. 7 days between testing doesnt not protect anyone, nor does a mask not regulated at N95 protect any particulates. I will not return to this backwards demeaning staff and facility or any other medical centers of Baptist.

My son is a patient of Dr John Butcher and he has been getting worse and worse every since. My son’s heart rate appears to be of NO concern to this Dr nor his elevated blood pressure My son is only in his early forty’s and I believe that my son will die in this man’s lack of care Heart rate at rest is 122 B/P 146/ 106. What is this man doing to my son!!

What an incredible person Dr Butcher is! Competent, friendly, and just overall awesome person to be around. He is my physician of choice for life.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr.John Butcher and his staff! He has been our family Doctor for many years, and is always punctual and very personable, He takes time to listen and address any concerns I may have, never feeling rushed, which is unusual in this day and age.Our insurance had recently changed and he is no longer in my network, but there is no other Doctor in town that I feel would provide the quality care I receive with him, and for that I will be a patient for life.! His office staff (Lisa) has gone above and beyond for me on several occasions, to get a particular medicine approved. Words cannot truly express how appreciative I am to Dr Butcher and his entire staff!

Best primary care ever. Dr. Butcher cared for me during breast cancer and more. He has been more than a doctor to me. He has always shown kindness and compassion when caring for me and my husband. Leaving Florida was easy but leaving Dr. Butcher was extremely difficult.

Dr Butcher is the best primary care physician Ive had. Unlike many other doctors he spends a considerable amount of time with me during each appointment. He seems to have a strong desire to understand what is going on. He then makes a recommendation only after taking some time to explain things in an easy to understand way. His office is quite busy so you may spend a minute or two on hold but other than that, definitely 5 stars.

Dr. Butcher is the best. Personable, intelligent, patient etc ... I could go on and on.He is thorough and never makes you feel like it’s in your head. In fact the entire office is wonderful. Oh he is handsome too.Thanks Dr. Butcher my family loves you.

Dr. Butcher is fantastic! He takes his time to address any of your questions or concerns, doesnt rush you, and you leave feeling confident about the visit, like more than just another patient. Dr. Butcher is a great doctor. For more than 15 years he has never once disappointed me or my family. He is the type of doctor you want to go have a beer with. He is very personable and quite funny while at the same time, knows what he is doing very well.

Good Doctor and good facility but the support personal fall short. I sometimes have a problem getting prescriptions called in it seems. This started only recently. Last Thursday I received an automated call confirming my appointment for 24 August. I arrive at my scheduled 1215PM appointment to be told that I should of been notified last Friday that it was canceled. They did not call! I did a 35 minute drive each way and it is very unacceptable that this happen. I have been a patient there since the early 90s. They have changed the location, changed my Doctor and now they need to change whoever screwed me today. You know that most of these places charge us if we miss an appointment so when do we get our check when they do this.

I was dropped as a patient for rescheduling an appointment twice because of financial reasons (Ive been a patient of Dr. Butcher for 12+ years). One of those reasons being, that the office suddenly increased my self-pay rate without warning. The front desk girl was extremely condescending when I explained why that was problematic for me. I was trying to get refills on a couple of anti-depressants I had just run out of because of my inability to pay for the initial appointment. Suddenly stopping those medications is dangerous. Dr. Butcher is a nice guy for sure, but there are plenty of those out there who arent always overbooked, have a front desk person that is a little nicer, and whose office wont drop you for rescheduling.

Dr. Butcher is hands down the best family practice physician in North Florida. I have been a patient of his for over two years and give him and his staff the best recommendation. He is always friendly and through in his approach.

My husband, our four boys, and I have gone to Dr. Butcher for about 15 years. John Butcher is professional, personable, actually listens to your concerns, and he stays current on research in the medical field. We love him and would highly and without reservation recommend him to anyone who asks!

When he comes into the exam room, he sits down and has a conversation with you. He never gives you the impression that he is too busy for your concerns. So glad he is my doctor.

Dr. Butcher is great, too bad the office staff is HORRIBLE. They are totally unresponsive to requests by pharmacies, they lose patient info--lost my sons info--and are just generally horrible at dealing with this type of business.Been using him for 4 years and have just gotten sick of having to deal with the staff. If it werent for his staff this would be a 5 star review.
