Disclaimer: only about manager!! Everyone else is amazing.Because I don’t see my comment I made a year ago: this place use to be amazing. However, the manager is the WORST. My parents bought me a coupon for my birthday and the manager wrote the wrong dates. So when I went in for my present, she did not honor the certificate. A WEEK LATER, she finally budged and we got all my money back. And when I did use to go here, even the employees complained that they were never able to choose the music and the manager always had it on the highest volume. So the experience was rarely relaxing. Overall, I kept going for my two favorite professionals (who are now no longer there). But the manager experience was the last straw. *if there’s a NEW manager this does not apply towards them*

Derma Technique day spas was wonderful!!! My mother and father got me a full day spa package (lunch also) here and I could not have been happier!!! My massage, sea scrub, facial and nails were perfect!! I will make this my go to place for any spa treatment I need!! They always made sure I had a drink, and was taken care of.

Carlos gave the best massage I’ve had in years. I’m usually a hard person to please because most people can’t do a really good Deep Tissue massage. I’m one of the few people that like a really hard Deep Tissue massage. It was so good I’m coming back next weekend. Carlos was Amazing!

Cadence was truly an awesome technician and very attentive during my Seaweed wrap on today. I will definitely be back and I have already referred my neighbor.

Rude owner. Poor management. Understaffed, outdated and not very clean. Pedicure not good. Massage good. Hasn’t been the same in 6-7 years. Will not go back.

Did not honor referral discount. Once you get massage they made excuse they couldn’t honor referral coupon because I didn’t have full hour massage and only had a 30 minute massage but coupon doesn’t state any minimum time in order for coupon to be valid. The manager or owner is very unprofessional and rude. The owner and reception don’t wear mask and they advertise they meet CDC guidelines but they don’t. Don’t waste your time or risk your health. So not worth it.

Had another great experience today at derma technique day spa. Carlos did a remarkable job. I highly recommend him. I will definitely be back next month.

Small and cozy. Great heated rooms. Free salt egg with check in. Food is good here too. No dry sauna or bubbly jacuzzi but there is a salt bath.

Carlos was amazing! I have really bad sciatica (chronic pain shooting down my legs), so I went to go see him because of a friend’s recommendation, to relieve some of the pressure and horrible pain (I could hardly walk). The massage was so relaxing, and Carlos made me so feel comfortable the entire time. He made sure I was modest during the entire massage and made it a very soothing environment in the room. I explained my pain issues to him, and after the massage, I immediately felt relief in my sciatic nerve. When I went to my chiropractor the next day, she told me she could tell that the massage helped me a lot, because she could feel it in my muscles that I was less tense. Because of this, she was able to adjust me easier and now Im almost pain free! Thank you so much Carlos!!!Magdalena was also fantastic! Im a recent college graduate, so obviously my skin was super bad from stress. I swear, she used some kind of magic on me because after a week my skin completely cleared up! In addition to this, she took the time to listen to me and help me come up with a treatment plan. The environment she created in the room during the facial was soothing and relaxing- I felt like I was on vacation. Thank you Magdalena, youre amazing. If you want to book a facial, I highly recommend you do it with her. Hands down the best esthetician in Houston!

ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!! The service is great and the staff tries to accommodate you as much as they can. I have had several services from here. My favorite is the 90 minute Swedish massage. The body treatments are all great as well. 3 years and counting!!!

Carlos gave the best massage that I have ever had. I’ve been to a lot of spas, but this was the best! Very relaxing in there. Everyone is very laid back and super nice!

I will never go back here again I got a massage and my nails done. The massage was amazing but my nail experience was horrible they are way too pricey and don’t even have a technician that knows what she is doing I had to keep asking for my nails to be reshaped and cut down some. I ended up having to go back to my normal nail place to have them reshaped. On top of it barely a week later a nail pops off I call them they offer to fix it the lady didn’t match the nail polish off then after I leave that same day another nail comes off I have to wait till Monday to call back. I talked to someone they offer to fix again when I went back to get it fixed the lady at the desk was very rude and then said I would have to pay. Never told me anything about being a charge I let her know this is the most I ever paid for nails and it was the worst job ever she was very rude. I went there with my work shirt on cause I went straight after work when I said I wasn’t paying for my nails and was walking out she told me I could go back to my job. Clearly they don’t know anything about customer service and want to overcharge for the horrible services they offer. I will never step foot in that place again. Worst service in my life

When I went there, everything smelled like fire, or smoke.There was no one there on a regular week day, and I foundthat peculiar. The cookies on the table in back were very good,and the young lady who was there was very nice to me. I wouldgo back again.

I have been a client of Dermatechnique for over 10 years having facials. Top notch treatment. I just called to inquire about and possibly schedule appointment for pedicure and shellac. The person who answered the phone was very rude. I could not understand her name and asked her to spell it for me and she refused and kept repeating how can I help you. I am very disappointed with the professionalism of this person. :(

This was a nice spa when I lived in Houston; however, I have relocated, and Ive requested multiple times to be removed from their text list. They keep harassing me! Do not ever give them your phone number... they spam you more than telemarketers!

Do not waste your time or money here! The Management is the worst!!! Its not even relaxing because in the nail room you can always over hear her yelling on the phone. And thats both times i have been to this spa. Shes very unprofessional and treats people very rude. Employees seemed great but their manager needs some unconditional help in customer service.

My husband took me here for a couples day spa. I really enjoyed the massage, lunch, facial, wine and steam room. I took a star away because my nail polish looked like I did it myself. I paid an extra $15 to upgrade my mani to a refill..it didnt look good the lady apologized said it was much she could do. With my pedi I had to point out some obvious things she was just about to paint over. The nail techs also gabbered on the entire time I was there i didnt speak the language so it was kind of annoying. I would recommend but they really need to upgrade the nail staff.

My massage was not relaxing due to loud talking, dishes clanking, doors slamming!....I have being a guest there since their previous location maybe around 15 years or so.I was told by Amber/owner/manager that next time I should ask for a quieter room and that she would note my file for a future upgrade.Not a next time for me!.............

I spent an amazing day being pampered at Derma Technique on Wednesday, May 20th!The overall ambiance was very relaxing…mood lighting and soft music.Everyone was very professional, complimentary, and soft spoken with a smile.I booked the Great Escape Spa Package and it truly was an escape from reality!I started my day with a Sea Salts Body Polish with Vichy and Swiss Showers. It was like an exfoliation massage. It was amazing! I loved the warm showers; it was like laying down in the rain! My skin has never felt so smooth or soft!I then had a full body swedish massage. The woman who massaged me was very talented. She gave the perfect amount of pressure, not too soft, yet not aggressive. It was perfect.Next, I enjoyed a very delicious lunch with red wine and fine china in my own private room.I ended my day with a Alfa Vital Facial. It was a very relaxing experience, as well! The products they used smelled amazing. My face felt smooth and soft. I felt I was glowing.Overall, Derma Technique was an incredible experience! I cant wait to spend another day being pampered there!
