I usually go to this nail shop Ive actually gone the entire pandemic when it was just the wife and husband but my last experience will be the last. Im not sure of the nail techs name but my nails at the highest here have been 65$ and that day they were 90$ because my nails were too short for acrylic and they didnt ask me if I wanted a mimosa the entire time which is kind of the reason I even chose to come that day. the nails were done about a week ago and all of them fell off plus they werent shaped right to begin with. I had a feeling she didnt want me to come back if Im being honest. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID. There’s so many new professional and stylist nail techs in Houston.

Do you not come here unless you have a lot of time to kill. I came in for a shellac mani/pedi at 11:30 AM on a Wednesday. There were no other clients in the shop. There was only one employee working. She said another employee was on her way but no one ever showed up. It took her 75 minutes to file (not soak) my shellac off and put new shellac on. I could not stay any longer so I did not get the foot massage or anything else included in the basic pedicure. The main reason for coming in was to get my old shellac on my fingernails taken off so I did stay another 10 minutes so she could file (no time to soak) the shellac off of my fingernails. I was there for 1 1/2 hours and left with no nail polish. This was my first visit here so I’m not sure how the service is usually.

Its a cute petite place to get a fast mani or pedi. I love how open their availability is. I had Ann do my nails & my best friends nails. They have about seven pedicure chairs and about five manicure chairs stations. They also served us refreshments like white wine, red wine, Mimosa, or any nonalcoholic drinks. She also does the manicure very nice as if theyre almost perfect! Id come again. Basic manicure was $15.

My friend went to have her nails and feet done there this week and the nail tech did a horrible job and my friend wasnt satisfied with the service she received and demanded that they correct the work that was done on her nails. The owner got very upset with her, became hostile and refused to do anymore work on her nails. Ordered her to pay $75 for unfinished work and my friend refused to pay cause she had yet to receive her pedicure. The owner called the police and almost had my friend arrested.She had to pay the $75 or go to jail.They didnt finish her nails and they never did her feet.Not only was this man very rude but was very unprofessional.Businesses that dont adhere to good customer service ethics should not be allowed to operate. And in one of the pictures she took while this incident was going on, you can see him trying to cover up the business info so she could file a complaint against him.They also had the nerve to lock her in the nail shop, when she had no intention of leaving and even snatched their business card out of her hand.Please consider doing business with another nail shop cause if you have any issues with service here, you will encounter ignorance and be taken advantage of.Be diligent about doing good business with good businesses and stop giving money to people who don t respect the consumer.Rich In The Mind

I absolutely love my nails!! All employees at American Beauty Nails are kind, professional and so courteous!! They really make you feel good coming and going. Here’s a pic of my nails. Aren’t the beautiful!! I got my lashes done also and they are stunning!!! I will come back and post a pick of those in a second review.

The lovely couple that owns this shop are genuinely great people who really care for you and your experience! I Always enjoy visiting here for my regular mini and pedi would recommend 10 out of 10!

Highly Recommended For Pedicure From a Guy!The service experience is AMAZING!!! I love that they remember me, and the weird special changes and add ons I like. They both have different styles and techniques, but they both are attentive and GREAT at what they do. I can’t be more pleased.

My bad I did my waxing here . The total cost is 25$. I gave my credit card and they told me the card didnt go . So I gave another credit card . Meanwhile ,I checked my account I saw the amount is in pending transaction . When I ask her immediately , she didnt even cancel transaction . Now , I am charges on two cards. Guess what , I didnt leave any tip they charged 7$ tip on my card . What kind of people are you ?? Cheaters

My kids loved the pedicure love the service and I most definitely love for equality and the prices. Please keep in mind you get what you pay for. They may be 5 to $10 more than other places. But it is so so so worth

Best service ever!! They will take all the time necessary for any of their services. I liked the passion that they put on any of their clients. I’ll definitely come back

This is absolutely the best nail experience of all time! Ann is awesome, she takes pride in her work refusing 20-minute nail requests, she explains the importance of skill and time and she gives her all. The quality of work is impeccable! Minh is just as impressive. I love this place ❤️

I came here for a pedicure and eyebrow wax today & even though she did my eyebrows too thin for my liking the pedicure was amazing. I’m really picky about my feet I rarely like the way people do them but she did them flawlessly I am very satisfied with how my feet look. I would recommend this place & cant wait to go back for another amazing pedicure!

I had been to this nail salon before and for about a year. As time had gone by I wasn’t getting the same tech all the time which wasn’t the issue. The one I was given charged me more than before for the same service as always. I didn’t confront, I just didn’t go anymore. Well with all that being said, I went back. This time I meet Minh and Ahn, such heartfelt warm and welcoming New Owners from Philadelphia. So caring and attentive and knowledgeable couple. I welcomed them with how to find their way around Houston. (Drive and get lost and find your way back!!) I appreciate their customer and personable service. Its hard to fine a good nail spot. I have always felt like a number next.... I been coming to American beauty nail for quite sometime now. And it was time to give them a review. From the moment you coming in till the moment you leave they are from sky and welcoming. I was even asked if I wanted something to drink. Which surprise me!? Right! Im not one who goes to the spa often but when I get a chance I find my way here. They are very clean and organized. If your looking for your next nail spot Che n them out. Also , ask for a stamp card after 10 visits you receive a 10% discount.

Dont go here. They allow people in here without masks on and people waiting around so no social distancing. They were rude as well.

I love them I came in and was in a hurry. I needed a quick polish change. They took care of me and they were very sweet and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.

Worst place I’ve been to asked for long coffin & gave me short pointy nails. I was there for 3 hrs. The lady and her husband are everywhere don’t know how to stick to one person

Not only I didnt leave happy, but these ladies actually made me cry. I wanted manicure with shellac when I came in. I specifically said that I dont want my nails to be filed much, because they are very thin. I also wanted to do french in the beginning, so I asked them to keep my length. First thing that happened was that she filed them so much that I couldnt do french anymore - they were too short. I said ok, whatever, lets just do color. So she started to manicure. Then she put bottom coat on and I noticed that cuticles were still there, chopped in random places. I asked if she could push cuticles back. She took my hand and right away started to file nails again. Im like no, please do the cuticles. Ok, she started to cut cuticles, but so hard that 2 fingers started to bleed. In the end I just told them I can do a better manicure myself and left with pain and tears.

This place was horrible. I am not even into nails and fashion but they did a horrible job with a lied to her about the job! I am pissed. I will call on monday and they better refund this, looks like a wackjob!
